Here are the updated rules for 2017. Changes are shown in blue font.
This league will use the same rules as the RIFC, including blind bidding for waivers.
Note the two changes from last season:
1. For the weeks with byes (weeks 5-11 this year), you may start only one RB instead of two, and instead start an extra receiver.
2. Dropped players will need to go through a separate blind bidding process after a 24 hour lockout.
The league rules at myfantasyleague.com will be updated to incorporate these changes.

Here's the text of Guru's Inurance rule:
Starting in 2015, I made the following offer to all RIFC leagues. I'll apply the same standard to this league - since our draft will start before most of the 3rd preseason games have been played.
This adjustment applies only to players injured in preseason week #3. We'll "protect" a team who drafts a player before his week #3 game and who is injured in that game. If you are in that situation, you'll have a limited time to make a substitute pick - but only from the player pool still remaining.
So, for example, if Tim Tebow is drafted by Team X prior to his game on Aug 26, and Tebow is injured in that game, then Team X can jettison Tebow and substitute any other player who is still in the undrafted pool at the time of the jettison. This, however, must be done by the end of Monday, August 28.
While this obviously isn't complete insurance, it is designed to keep the draft moving during that first weekend. And it's certainly better than being stuck with an eventual free agent to replace an early draft pick. Hopefully, this situation will never come into play.

Just got home after being out for awhile. So I'm just learning about this.
Standard RIFC protocol is that once a pick is timed out (s/b 4 hours), any subsequent picks are skipped until the delinquent picks are made up.
Draftime did this automatically, but MFL requires the commish to do it.
I just emailed wolfer. I'm reluctant to intervene immediately without knowing whether wolfer has had any contact with Promize, but if I don't hear from him quickly, I'll push the draft forward.
Promize - if you check in, you'll need to have a commish enter your skipped pick(s). You can send them to either wolfer or me. Wouldn't hurt to post them here as well.

Perkins should have been awarded to Swingnamiss via blind bidding. Swing and twilson both had $18 bids, but the tiebreaker should have gone to Swing.
I have no idea why it didn't work. Glitch, no doubt.
Nevertheless, Swing should get Perkins for $18, droppng Charles Sims. The Wheatfarmers F/A pickup of Perkins for Allen should be reversed.

Lee was dropped at 10:00pm Wednesday.
A dropped player will be available for blind bidding at the first opportunity after 24 hours. Therefore, Lee will be available at the first blind bidding after 10pm Thursday. That will be at 8am on Sunday.
The blind bidding on Thursday was held at 7:30pm, so that was not 24 hours after the drop.

We have now passed all bye weeks. Therefore, the RB flex option will no longer be allowed. You must start 2 RBs again starting with week 12.
Because of the change in settings, starting rosters have not been carried forward from week #11, so each team must reset all starters.

The calendar for playoff weeks is slightly different than for the regular season.
1. No add/drop transactions will be allowed until at least 3pm on Tuesday. This includes submitting blind bid claims. The purpose is to allow the commissioner to get the playoffs properly seeded and to ensure that teams not active in the Championship bracket are properly excluded from further add/drop transactions.
2. There will be no blind bidding on Wednesday.
3. The first blind bidding will take place on 3pm ET on Thursday. This is so that all stats corrections can be processed on Thursday morning before any bids are processed - just in case a scoring adjustment results in a change in the previous week's game outcomes.
4. FCFS free agent pickups will begin at 6pm ET Thursday. Again, only teams still active in the Championship bracket may make add/drop transactions.
The schedule for the balance of the week will proceed as normal.

I'll await scoring updates and changes later in the week but that Graham fumble recovery TD with zero left on the clock just put me up 2.2 points against Russell. I think he might have a couple points coming from Bennett. However it turns out, just ridiculous.
I was thinking I needed a Watkins hail mary TD catch, which had about a snowball chance in hell of happening. Didn't even occur to me that Graham could possibly score a TD there.

I was watching and I knew you had a PHI d-lineman. As soon as he went in I just knew it was Graham. Bennett was pretty quiet today so it’s probably a long shot for him to pick up 2+. Good battle all day. If that ends my run, I had a good year.

In another league that I'm in they are showing Bennett with a TFL. Dunno. But, either way, you already clinched advancement to RIFC next season by winning. Good game, regardless.
When Kamara went down on the first drive of the Thursday game I figured I was complete toast. Also figured Wentz would seal the deal for you in the 4th but unbelievably he tears his ACL. On the Graham TD play, at first I was upset because it looked like it was Watkins who fumbled, putting me farther behind, then I saw it was Graham... Lots of craziness.

MFL scoring currently has you winning by .2. Now that’s a close game.
It’s easy for me to take because I screwed up a waiver claim this week that would have led to me benching Rod Smith. So i probably didn’t deserve the W even if it broke my way.
