Pete
QB- Brett Farve
RB- Marshall Faulk, Terrell Davis, DeShawn Foster, Trung Candidate
WR- Rod Smith, Ed McAffery, Keenan McArdell
TE- Byron Chamberlain

My thoughts- Great draft. A proven QB and RB tandem is very nice. I see no stretches where he picked players way early. My only problem is what he does when Denver has a bye? That week could pose problems, but overall, a good draft.

Ryan
QB- Aaron Brooks
RB- Shaun Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Warrick Dunn
WR- David Boston, Plaxico Burress, Marcus Robinson, Germaine Crowell
Def- Eagles

A lot of players coming off injuries, and a mystery injury with David Boston. If things workout, and Robinson/Lewis/Crowell play like the pro bowlers they were pre injury, it's an awesome team, if not, there are some issues. Warrick Dunn to me was a great pick that late.

Dean
QB- Jeff Garcia
RB- Ahman Green, Antowain Smith, Tiki Barber, TJ Duckett
WR- Troy Brown, Gardner, Price
Def- Tampa

Another good draft. Troy Brown and Gardner make a good tandem at WR for where they were taken. Anowain Smith is someone Im not high on. But overall, another solid draft.

Chris
QB- Kurt Warner
RB- Fred Taylor, Micheal Pittman, Mike Alstott
WR- Chambers, Darrel Jackson, Marty Booker
K- Marteen Gramatica
Def- Steelers

Pittman could have been grabbed a round later...that was a huge reach, but Jackson and Booker were both good picks later. 3 Byes with Tampa... Im still skeptical of Pittman/Alstott. It will be like flipping a coin each game to start the better back that week. Fred Taylor is a risk, but if it pays off, it pays off huge.

Josh
QB- Manning
RB- Garrison Hearst, Emmitt Smith, Charlie Garner
WR- Holt, Moulds, Donald Driver
TE- Wesley Walls
Def- Bears

I would rather have had Jeff Garcia in the secound round, and Ricky Williams in the first round, but who would know Jeff Garcia would fall so far? I like the draft still. The RB's might be the downfall, again.

G
QB- McNabb
RB- Ricky Williams, Duce Staley, James Allen
WR- Harrison, Derrick Mason, Donte Stallworth, Hines Ward
TE- Shannon Sharpe

G was sober, and it showed. A great draft. I feel Ricky Williams and McNabb were steals as late as they were chosen. Harrison is a stud too. Great draft. Top draft? Probably, in my eyes.

doc
QB- Trent Green
RB- Curtis Martin, Jerome Bettis, Micheal Bennett
WR- Terrell Owens, Qadry Ismail Donald Hayes
TE- Bubba Franks

Funny. doc had 3 rules before the draft- no head cases, no players with injury problems the prior season, and no Vikings. Terrell Owens, the headcase, Jerome and his hammy and Micheal Bennett. Other than the fact he went against what he said, it is looking solid so far.

Y2J
QB- Steve McNair
RB- Edgerrin James, Deuce McAllister
WR- Glenn, Morton, Mushin
TE- Pollard
K- Vanderjaht

Deuce was a bit early for me, mostly with Harrison and Owens still on the board. 3 Colts will make the bye week intresting. Not sold on McNair that early either. Good WR's in the end. Not sure about this one. Deuce better live up to the hype.

Eric
QB- Daunte Culpepper
RB- Eddie George, Travis Henry, James Stewart
WR- Joe Horn, Jerry Rice, Amani Toomer
Def- Rams

We drafted a pretty good team for Eric. Its not a bad draft. If Eric wins, we all get a piece of the pie.

TD
QB- Vick
RB- Stephen Davis, William Green, Kevan Barlow, Thomas Jones
WR- Moss, Keyshawn Johnson, Lavernous Coles

Moss is a great pick. Keyshawn is a great pick. Cant complain about the WR's. Stephen Davis and William Green bother me. Dont like either of them much where they were taken. Kevan Barlow and Micheal Vick are nice, mostly if they are still here on his squad in a year. A good draft, but the RB's scare me.

Harry
QB- Gannon, Bledsoe
RB- Priest Holmes, Tomlinson, Dominic Rhodes
WR- Jimmy Smith, Tim Brown, Kevin Johnson

Good picks all around. Tomlinson didnt intrest me. I stil am warry of that O line, and the Charger team. But still, he will be a workhorse. A good draft. Priest Holmes sure did fall- lucky Harry.

kev
QB- Brian Griese
RB- Anthony Thomas, Corey Dillion
WR- Isaac Bruce, Derrick Alexander, Roy Williams (texas), Joey Galloway
TE- TGone

I was very happy to have ATrain and Dillion. Both should be good for at least 1000 yards and 10 TD's. I was flustered when Horn, Keyshawn, and Jimmy Smith all got picked, and they were the 3 players I had my eye on, so I took TGone, probably too early, but if he does play, Im still glad I got him. Joey Galloway seemed like the most talented WR left to me, and I just hope the Cowboys find him more. Griese is a steal and a half if he stays healthy with that offense. I wont get into the Roy Williams debate here. Not a bad draft, but not the best. Middle of the pack.

best draft , in my eyes goes to g & pete (other than all those broncos)

best pick?
marty booker in round 7 or 8, chris pissed me off with that one, he'll be chicagos #1 rcvr and with a healthy chandler could produce bigtime

worst pick?
roy williams or michael pittman - both went way too early, especially williams.

another great pick was jimmy smith so low, seems like we had some talent in the draft room this year......

Pete has allmost 2 sure loses in weeks 8 (Favre and Marshal out) amd 9 (broncos out). Not a good BYE mamangment. If all the Broncos stay healthy, his team is very good. But thats a pretty big IF. Foster was a great pick.

I like g's team, and Harry is looking very good himself.

I think Y2J is taking a huge gamble at RB, with only 2 guys so far, both very risky picks.

td said Not a good BYE mamangment....

ya know, i was pouring over alot of stuff while i was picking, but "BYE mamangment" was not one of them...if i had been moss would never have been picked. He has bye weeks we don't know about yet, he has bye halves, bye quarters and bye plays.....

Donald Driver is a #4 WR who will be happy to get 400 yards.

And those 3 RBs combined for 100 years of age will surely help you a lot in a keeper league.

How about this strategy.........draft the best player available then trade from strength if bye weeks are a problem.

Then on the other hand if you have 3 players with the same bye week play your bench 1 week then you have an advantage the rest of the bye weeks.

Either way not that big a deal

i sort of agree with that nifty strategy dean.

also... any three players with a combined age of 100?

those may be ok, this year and next. but..since we only keep 3 players from year to year, it may not be a large issue.

or how about td worry about his own sorryass team and quit trying to critique everyone elses. You still have a few rounds left to try to undo the damage

Josh's RB's might be 100 in total age, but they dont play for Steve Spurrier or Cleveland.

Take your pick.

I was aware of the bye weeks. The only "problem" I forsee is having McCaffrey and Rod Smith with a bye week at the same position...that means i need at least 2 decent backup WR.

Favre and Faulk with the same bye week may even be beneficial...remember it's only 1 week out of 13.

upon further review, harry, dean & ryan had great drafts also...if the fringe picks pay off (duckett & jamal - namely) these teams could produce huge numbers....

not a bad draft in the lot...

now that ive buttered everybody up, we could save a lot of time and aggravation (and stress related spontaneous bowel movements for the old guys like josh) and just hand the trophy to me and my team of consistent point producers......
