i did already know this thing when i drafted him. out 4-6 weeks means that he should be ok for the 2nd week game, and remember that this is a keeper league, so one of the most talented DL on the market is worth a pick even if he'll miss 2 or 3 games.....i bet he'll post huge numbers this year, even missing 2 games (and hey, if it's a 4 week injury i wouldn't exclude that he should be ok for the opener....). | ||||||

I liked barlow and was considering grabbing him in a round or two as for the debate on value, everyone knows running backs are usually in very high demand. by loading up with 4 early he covers his ass in case of injury and also has sweet trade bait for the inevitable studs go down and people get desparate I like your thinking art, but like it has been said already, to each his own... when did the 1pt per reception get added? I guess while I'm reminding people of the rules I should also mention TEs get the point per reception as well, but also get a point per 5 receiving yards (vs. 10 receiving yards for WRs and RBs). | ||||||

In the meantime, we could work on a few of the small undecided issues from the rules. Hardcore Rules 1 - Should we ever realign divisions to maintain parity? Maybe not every year, but every second or third or fourth year? Realignment would be based on total fantasy points for the year rather than head-to-head record. 2 - Waivers... 48 hours or 36 hours? | ||||||

realignment-I say no to this, but I've outlined my beliefs before. let's let rivalries build up. personally if my team bites I want to build it up myself. besides I think the keeper system (if we adopt your excellent suggestion doug) will keep things going for people to rebuild and stop dynasties. waivers-36-48 don't make much difference to me. 36 sounds reasonable to me. beebop is a VERY dedicated manager. He is in my baseball keeper league and is very active. If you want to know why he isnt picking, read post 16. Obviously he's in a tough situation right now... I'm not going to enforce the 2 hour rule (on weekends) as strictly as I would throughout the week. It seems people just dont have time to be on their computer ALL the time on Friday night-Sunday. If the draft is held up on a pick for an unreasonable amount of time, I will make the pick for them. We'll definately get this draft done before the end of preseason so I dont think the slow down on weekends will hurt us. | ||||||
