Ok we need to do the draft here, because one owner could not get his team registered in time and know this is our only option. We need a couple of rules for the draft. I am suggesting a 4 hour time limit per a pick for the hours of 8ammst to 5pmmst. IF you do not make you pick a leave a que with me, I will make the pick, based on your teams needs and I will use the player rankings from ESPN. Regarding defensive players I will use the rankings from Sandbox. If you do not want to leave a que with me, you can leave it with another owner.
I also have determined the draft order by picking numbers out of a cup.

All right Gentlemen! Morgan has done a great job of pulling us together to get this thing going (or at least doggin' me). For this I tip my hat (10-gallon of course) although I have to wonder if his true intention is to promote and foster a spirit of comradarie or instead to try to get this thing under way and try to bend me over for another $20 this year.
In any event, under the current timetable, we ought to have our draft just about done by the time Bow Wow or whatever Teeny-Bopper they have singing the Star-Spangled Banner at the Superbowl this year sings "...brave." Therefore, in order to expedite this process, I propose that everyone submits three different dates/times when they would be available to do this thing live. I'll coordinate the times everyone posts and try to come up with a proposal that works for everyone. We can probably knock it out in a couple hours, and besides, it will give us plenty of time to start stirring the pot and letting the banter begin. Please try to have something posted by the end of the day.
Thanks for your attention Brian and your post. We all know you can't wait to take Doman as your number one or number two pick, so I'm doing my best to try to quell your anxiety and bring you the oportunity sooner.
Let me know and we'll get this thing rolling.

I know some owners have limited time and limited access to the net. Any time during my work hours I should be pretty good, we all know how hard I work, early morning might be out because I have a couple of tee times, playing south mountain and Thanksgiving Point, next week and I might get a round in at wasatch this week. Wednesday next week would be best for me. For the owners that do have limited time to do the draft, I am happy to help.

First thing, I will be gone most of Thursday and Friday, so I won't be able to enforce the timelimit or have access to my email, I think Reed or Brian should make any pick for someone that exceeds the timelimit because their own self interests would have a lesser effect.
Second thing, on Friday, please drop all players that sandbox drafted for you, so we can start to sign the players that we drafted and we will be able to better see, what players are still available.
On the weekend their will be no timelimit, but please try and check. I don't think many people have responded to Mike's post about trying to get together and do a couple of rounds(not beer).

I have also waived all my players except for my kicker. It seems like that would be the best position to keep (since you have to have at least one player). Then after you put on your initial picks you can get rid of the kicker. It looks like the first regular season game is Sept. 5. Or do the preseason games count?

Daniel's number is 330-479-2814. I think it might be too hard to get eveyone together tonight on short notice. I want to get some discussion on the way the draft is moving, it is not too bad, but I think starting monday timelimit is 3 hours my 8am - 6pm mst. I will be making the pick if you exceed your timelimit or another option is leave timelimit the same(not that it was a big change) and finish the draft early Saturday morning start at 6:30am mst. If we continue at the same rate we should be around the 10th rd for saturday about half way done. We would have about 80 picks left, have a 2 minute timelimit per pick and we would be done in less than 2hrs.

Most team only have 7 more picks and I am sure everybody wantw to finish the draft. I suggest that on Monday, we all email a list of the remaining players that we want, please include 2 extra. Please put them in order of priority and I will finish the draft. I am guessing we will only have 5 slots left or if we don't like this idea we can just continue at our current pace, which is faster than I thought. Any input because I know several of you have limited time. I have all the time in the world for the next 2-3 weeks. I will be playing lots of golf. South Mountain and Thanksgiving point next week.

I am fine with Morgan's proposal. We could even get one of the lists or rankings and just assign the players starting with the available players with the highest point total. We end up playing most of the same players every week anyway. If you have any special requests just let Big "M" little "organ" know. Just kidding Morgan, I am sure it is mORGAN!!!!

Hey guys I actually thought that we were not using this site anymore and that we would be using just the Rumor mill on Sandbox.
SHOULD WE JUST SWITCH TO USING THE RUMOR MILL ON SANDBOX?
I am fine with whenever on free agent pick up. By the way What is the reason for commissioners? So that noone teams up? So if the commissioners say "no" to a trade, that is it?

I think we should use this site instead of the rumor mill on sandbox. The peak usage times have really made using the site frustrating.
