so we've got 16 rounds, season starts Sept 4, so we've got plenty of time to get this thing done. The quicker the better!

What do you all think about having fractional points for yardage?
Personally, I'd rather have the simple 1 pt per 20 yds, 1 pt per 50 yds, etc. Fractional yardage points make it practically impossible for ties to occur, and I like keeping ties as part of the game. I remember our lg having ties last season. It created some pretty interesting scenarios as we were nearing the playoff weeks. And with the tiebreakers, it gets even better.
Also, I like simple scoring because whole numbers are much easier to calculate in my head. I'm one of those people who just doesn't like waiting for Yahoo to update. :)

here's what I want to be discussed in here.
1. Playoffs? Should we have them? should we use week 17? I think I'd vote to have no playoffs
2. Timeouts. Whats a good guideline? Obviously no timeouts are charged in round 1. But, for round 2 and beyond...what should we use? 4 hours between 11am and 5pm ET?

1. Yes playoffs, this isn't the real football (soccer) where you win the season you win it all...Plus this way if Mach finishes first you know his team will choak in the playoffs.
2. I work 9 am to 6 pm, Im fine giving a queue everyday, but if it comes back to me twice in a day, which would be an absolute miracle given previous drafts, I might have a problem, I'd say two timeouts, 4 hour limit between the time J says.

i think timeouts should still be used on weekends. If someone is gonna be away for a day or two, just post about it and leave a queue. At least if we know in advance that the draft will stop, we won't have to worry about checking in every 10 minutes!

Do you guys like 20 rush/rec yards per point? I remember not looking at the rules last year and realized it was 25 per point after the draft...should've said something.
I remember getting pissed on a few occasions last year when my back would rush for 95 yards and get 3 points when some chump of a TE caught 1 pass for a TD and got more points.
