Pledge Cameron and Mark you only get 10 hrs. for you 2 picks. I was hoping slatter would check tonight but I am sure he will do it in the morning, so Brian check early and slatter make sure you check again before noon your time. John give me a call when you have made your pick. I will be rather happy if I get 1 of the 4 players that I want with my next pick. i am guessing we are going to have wait for awhile and i know reed will be on flight tonight. i expect things to slow down over the weekend. i will stick to the timelimit, i would prefer teams to email 3-4 players that they might want. i will not look at emails until it is your pick. i want to get the biggest part of the draft before Thursday. I am going out of town for the on Thursday afternoon and I know another owner will also be going out of town. Let just try and keep things moving.
I want to change the timelimit rule. If your timelimit expires, your next pick you will only have the timelimit of 4hrs, if you are up to pick again within 24hrs. This will not go into affect until I hear opinions from half of the other teams. If you miss 3 consective picks, I will be making your next pick unless I am notified.

Everybody please drop your players. It is already getting tough to figure out who is still available. It will take you only a couple of minutes to do so, some of the top players, yahoo will not let you drop so you will need to trade them to the team that drafted them.

Why do we have so many bench positions? This draft is getting old and our picks are getting sad. I don't think we should have that many bench positions. Some people (any one of us are definately capable) may want to stock up on the surprise players this year and then try to manipulate an unfair trades to desperate teams. I say we stop the draft in round 16. Then we could set a date for a free agent period and you can pick up/drop whom ever you want.

I think we should go until our yahoo teams are full. My team is showing 5 positions open. My concern with free agent period is that there will be a free for all and that increases the risk of unfairness. As far as I'm concerned there are still a lot of quality players left to draft.
I have a proposal - I think we should finish round 16, then hold a live draft (either via telephone or live chat on the internet) this Sunday night. That way we can finish off the remaining rounds in less than an hour. 90 seconds between picks. What does everyone think?
Since I'm leaving within the next 1/2 hour and I won't have computer access until Sat. night, I'm going to e-mail Reed with my next picks just in case you all decide to proceed.

I agree that there are still good picks that MIGHT turn into trading cards or injury replacements. So I am open to keep going (it takes forever....) OR WE COULD DO A SUNDAY NIGHT THING THAT WOULD PROBABLY TAKE LESS THAN AN HOUR.

About the "Sunday night" plan. I won't be near a computer but I will have my cell phone. However, I won't be able chat for a long period of time. Also, it would be a major pain for me to make choices without being able to research players.
