The Tonya Harding Plan? Pick backups and send your goons in to maim the starters? Be advised that NFL running backs don't go down as easily as Nancy Kerrigan..unless they're Fred Taylor.

On my short list, I show 14 running backs left, most with questionable chances for touches

On my WR short list, I show 38 left. WRs, after about the top 10, are a dime a dozen.

Hey all - some of us make picks in the daytime, some at night, some both. If you know you're going to be away for the entire day or night, make sure you leave a queue (enough for 2 picks). If anybody is having trouble finding research time because of family or work, I have a cool draft tool I can send ya with updated player info, and you can do a quick check at rototimes.com for the latest injury updates. An hour or 2 between picks is totally cool - I just think we all want to avoid gaps of 4 hours or more during the day and evening.

Yeah PV, I see a few RB's I like but they are all questionable as far as playing time goes.

With the deep rosters, there will be virtually no decent free agent RBs or QBs. Even though there are 4 WRs starting, the free agent pool will still be fairly sizable, and sleeper and comeback WRs, ala Charles Johnson, Terry Glenn or Antonio Freeman are more likely to have success than comeback RBs, ala Adrian Murrell.

hey Pat,

it's not really a big deal. As Pancho Villa said though, it would be great if you send a queue to one of us so that we can execute your pick on behalf of you. that way we won't have to rush the last few rounds in order to finish before the start of the season

I like the deep rosters because it gives most of the NFL guys some playing time in our league. I think it forces you to keep a closer eye on your team too. Cool idea.

Pat,

Since the beginning of this draft I have been using a spreadsheet that allows you to customize the rankings of players.
As the draft has progressed I've just shaded all the players that have been drafted.

If you are interested it is found in post 5 (thanks to Battles):
Spreadsheet

If you don't feel like going through it, I can send you my updated one w/ the latest picks

I was waivering a ton of Booker. I feel he fell a lot, but I felt getting 2 QB's from high powered offenses in this scoring system was more important than my 3rd WR.

Hey Pat. Here is a cool program - they update the database from time to time, so you may have to download it from time to time. Draft Advisor. I would still double-check each players status before making the official pick, but this program really helps.
