Talk about squeaking thru!! STB is going to get by for another week by .5!! I really would have liked to see him leave the rock because he seems to have the stronger team left to challenge me. Culpepper and Westbrook carried Ed through again this week. Not to mention Alge.

I am really liking the way this is shaping up. Ed and I are the only teams to break the 63 point mark this week so far. Shak will probably break out with Dillon tonight. Out of the scores that have been posted so far, I have a 120+ point lead over STB for overall leader. Fingers crossed on no injuries for my team!!

The Clyde is looking strong. Culpepper had a average week. If you can get three players to score 20+, then mostly likely you will be safe.

I haven't had a scare yet, I've either been really safe or someone has scored so bad I didn't have any worries. I think that changes this week my key player (Culpepper) has a tough game against Jacksonville and Westbrook against NYG. Horn is a little banged up, so I would say I dont see a high score from me this week, just need someone to be worse.

After the draft I thought I was a little weak in the RB department and would never get this far, so I'm satisfied to last this long.

We need a powerhouse team to fold. I told you Shak using up 6 of those 8 lives would be important later....he just seems destined!!!

You could be in for a rough week. Alge can't keep this up. He is like 6'4" and 270. He has got to run out of gas soon!! Tough matchups for you and the competition is getting a little stiffer.

Depending on how many Super V boots me tonight, I am still nearly averaging 100 points per week. Can anyone stop Clyde??

I'm assuming the LHC is gone? I think Green got enough points. Now it will be extra tough. It may take 70+ to stay alive. I'll struggle to get that this week.....Edneck scared baby!!!!!

Please confirm that you have received the final for week 11. I sent it out from my work e-mail and I'm not sure it went thru.

Week 11 was oh, so very close. The bottom 4 teams were all within 2 points of each other. If Trent Green runs for 4 more yards or completes the pass on the 2 point conversion try, SSS would still be with us.

Here's my prediction for week 12:
SuperClyde, Ednecks, and STB are the clear favorites at this point. Barring injuries, they will be the final 3.

The Four Surviving Pretenders:
LHC -- LHC survived by just .5 this week, but he is looking to be in serious jeopardy next week without a QB and only one RB. He may very well need a big game from Holt on MNF @GB.

Shak -- I seem to be kept around just so that the top 3 have someone to do the stats. My best player, Dillon, faces the Ravens this week, so I will be on the edge again.

Dawgs -- Brady vs. the Ravens and Rattay vs. the Phish. Dawgs need the QB points, especially if Holmes is out again. I don't think we'll see another 28 pointer from Driver.

C5 -- The smoke and mirrors team. S Davis got hurt and Barlow has been terrible. He has been surviving with basically no RB points. Good news is he has good depth at PK.

Heart says Dawgs because he'll be dangerous once Priest returns, but my head says I better start packing. Hope I'm wrong.

Don't count me out just yet (see e-mail) I count 65.5 for my total last week. A pitiful performance from my stars... but enough to survive!

I sent this thru the league email but not sure if you guys got it so I will post it here too.

I checked the scores for all four teams. According to my calculations it would be:

SSS: 65.5(the difference has already been explained)
STB: 61.5
LHC: 60.0(the difference is that Rudi Johnson should be 6.5 versus 5.5 and Burleson should be 13.5 versus 15.5)
C5: 62.5

Again, this is according to my calculations. I urge LHC and C5 to check their scores.

Way to keep up on things you guys. I don't want any disputes in the end. Although there won't be any question who the winner is in the end!!

I havn't recieved any Emails on week 11. No Spreadsheet or SSS Email. I guess we need someone to verify the totals and get this correct.

Mike your being hard on the Beaver again...why can't we be friends? He He!!!

Unless Tim can find another bookkeeping error, Tim will be the 11th off the island. That is a huge upset. He went from being 3rd worst to the worst with 2 careless scoring errors. I guess that's what happens when you let a linguist do the math. Tim is 2nd in total points and is the only team to be completely healthy and have every player starting. That now makes Mike and Ed big favorites to make the final two, but as Scott and Tim can attest to, it just takes one bad week or one or two crucial injuries.

Ed, we are friends, just friends who constantly argue, complain and slam one another!! lol

As Jim was saying, this is an upset of my liking. Having Tim gone is big help. Fiedler on the IR isn't going to be of any help to me now!! I still like my chances, only now I will be screaming at Vick not to leap into the air and land on his head a little louder!! I really haven't had a bad week so to speak yet, but I am hoping that this year it doesn't happen.

If STB is gone then that was a big favorite gone and opens the door a little wider for the rest of us. Superclyde has to be the odds on favorite to grab the title..Jinx.Jinx..Jinx.. That just shows like Jim said, no one is safe and it comes down to I think, getting three guys to score 20+ and you should be safe.

Good Luck and I really mean that. You got this far and I didn't realize how difficult it was going to be to stay alive.

SuperClyde is scared of the Neck!!

No kidding about the bad week. If I can get Ed off the rock, I would think I would be a sure lock. I am really in a dire position at QB. If Vick goes down, so do I. I don't have a big enough lead in total points to even ride that out. My fingers will be crossed.

Scotty, did you get my check yet?

I was thinking at the beginning of the season, I would forget about this league. Not trades, one set lineup, etc. It really was no maintenance except for the draft. I cannot believe how interested I have become in this!! Out of all of my fantasy teams, I seem to be checking this one first. Even the verbal sparring has been fun. Ed and I have been doing this for years now and it is good to see everyone else get into it.

To be the true survivor, takes an incredible amount of luck. Plain and simple. Shak has his drafting strategy and while it has its merits, this league is about backups and injuries. Unless you can pick a team where injuries are minimal, you have to plan for backups. Not an easy thing to do with 18 teams!! I never could have imagined that the 7, 8, 9, and 10 picks are probably the most important picks.

Yes Ed, I am scared of your team. You seem to be the challenger with the most potential, but as everyone has said, it only takes one off week to leave the rock. Yours is this week!!

Got the check Clyde. Cashed it today.

On a side note this league is more more interesting if your still alive and kicking........... :-(

No Indy players left is a bonus. Manning with 45 points and HArrison and Stokely with 39 and 30.5 points would have been huge for their owners...

Scotty it must suck not being alive. I get excited with this every week and being sent to the exit with a team you know would be hard to beat is tough!

SSS, LHC, Dawgs (without Priest, hows he done that), Shak, C5, Supergoof and Ednecks...Who's the unlucky one this week?

Say goodnight SuperVick!!

I am so glad that Manning isn't part of this game. He is pretty much unstoppable. Six TD's??! I have him and Stokley in another league and wound up with 70 points between the two!!

Yeah, I can imagine it wouldn't be much fun if you are out of it. Especially with high score for the year pretty much sewn up as well. Overall score is about the only thing left and that is almost out of reach. 120+ lead on Ed.

Vick should have a good game. I don't like that Morris probably isn't going to play. Dunn splitting more and more time. Fiedler DOA. I just hope Alexander and my receivers can pull me through. I only have to beat one and there are some teams with huge holes, so I think I am safe.

Not sure who's in trouble. It may be between the Dawgs and SSS?

I scored 120+, so it looks like I'm safe.
Crumpler, Westbrook and Horn are money.'

I thought LHC would struggle without a QB, but I think he got big points from Rudi.

Ednecks safe that's all that matters.

I think the Dawgs are history this week. I count him as 27.5 with Driver left to play. I don't think anyone else is that low?

I think I have roughly 72 points with Bruce and Ferguson left to play. Not quite the week I was looking for, but when Alexander gets 3, it will always hurt. As long as I make it past one!!

Clyde you ever get the feeling that we are the last two teams on earth?

Coles is hurt that lessens my chances a little, not that he's been huge, but he gets me 6-10 a week.

Getting rid of the Dawgs before Priest gets back, might be a good thing!!!

Good Luck

Yeah, it does seem that way. I don't want to jinx myself, so I won't say anything about a bad week....DOH!!!
