OK..LuvtoDive has been booted from the league. My apologies for subjecting all to that childishness, but when I saw his name on the owner registration, I debated allowing him to join or not. I opted to allow it, hoping he had changed and learned fom the last league we booted him out of. Sadly, he didnt, hasdnt, whatever.
We now face a dilemma. We are a team short. More precisely, we are a manager short. I see 2 viable options here.
1) Find a replacement manager willing to assume control of the team in question or
2) find a new manager and start the drafting process over.
Neither is ideal I know. We have lost 1 week is all, and I doubt it would cost us much in terms of lost time, to start over. I think we could still complete the process in 2 weeks, 3 at worst.
I'm seeking input from all here. I honestly dont know which/what route, best serves all involved.
Bidding and the clock, have been suspended, pending this detremination. |

Ideal for me would be to find a replacement manager. I'm out of pocket starting the 12 until the 15th. Might be able to check off and on, but just not sure. (Son's wedding)
I'll work around whatever.
Other option which also is not optimal, but doable would be The Beezer's comment in the other thread for two of us to co-manage the team.

2 co-managing works OK for me. I will wait though, until more of the league responds.
LTD...yes, you were booted. You know it (I started that league, remember?) Goatlocker can affirm if you force the issue. He was in the league then, and still is to this day. As for "fight me please". LTD, you dont want that. You really, really, REALLY, dont want that. You only think you do.

I am fine with whatever decision will be made. I myself would prefer (1) finding a replacement manager over (2). the problem with (2) would be that a manager with 1.5 teams will claim a player with his initial team and the 2nd team would be sacrificed.
drafting is one part of the season, working waivers/free agency is the other part. and with the co-managed team that may not happen as it should.
but (2) may be better than (3) start all over or (4) forget this league (which is LTD only choice)
all that want to get ready to rumble this out, test your skills here

LTD so you want to fight someone who was special forces, granted he is retired, and you have major health issues. I guessing that they are mostly mental in nature.
I promise not to feed the troll from this point forward, but couldn't help myself.
I vote towards trying to find a replacement manager for his team. Barilok6 checked in on one of the threads and legge was in the first league.
If we start over each manager has "told" how much he is willing to pay for a player.
Just my $.02

seems wiggs has a buddy "young gunz" who has volunteered to assume the team in question. soon as I get his email, get him added to the website and then get him invited...we will resume the auction.
we also need to ensure, that he is upto speed on just where the team stands in terms of slots filled/open, money remaining, bidding restrictions/penalties etc etc etc.

Ok...good, glad we aren't starting new (even though I would get my $15 back!)...
Thanks to YGz for helping in a tight spot and sarge and wiggs I think you handled it well.

Nah...I think re-starting is far too counter productive...
I still think I can compete, but my chances are definitely diminished and if I do win...prepare for the noise to be brought on you guys! ;-)
