Welcome to “4th and 1” keeper fantasy football league! This is the first year of the keeper league. We have all played together before so we all know how the league works. The main objective is to have fun!

Don't think thats going to be low enough for me to get one of the big three but I have never ever picked lower than 4th and have always had pretty good luck!

I rolled a 89 I think, that will put me near the bottom, I don't see a clear advantage of picking early unless you get Johnson or Alexander.
I got my eye on Bush in the first round!!

Shush, don't let the Bush secret out, Whoops this is a open forum, Just playing around maybe? With only Ten teams 54 should be near or around picks 3-6.
I like the back-to-back action so I'm hoping for the 10 hole.
In a Keeper league I never get a top 3 pick, I guess that will remain the norm. It's just fun drafting, so it's all gravy.

Well thats what I'm scared of. The earliest I have ever drafted in any of the leagues I have played in, even the free yahoo drafts that I do as a mock draft, is 6th. I drafted 4th 2 years ago in WOF but that was based on finish from previous year. So knowing my luck my 54 will be good for about 6ish. I would just for once love the option of picking 1st!

4th is a great spot what are you talking about??? Clinton Portis will be a monster and will probably outscore LT. I wouldn't want to pick 5th, and if I did I'd take Edge. Beyond that it's a crap shoot.......

I rolled a 80 for the Lorin and me tiebreaker. Verification was sent to Travis.
Looks pretty good for a #9 or #10 slot. I'd rather be there then 5-7. I can make back-to-back picks work nicely.
Still wish I could have gotten Johnson, Alexander or LT. even though I like Portis I think he'll get hurt this year, I still think Edge is the better pick.
Manning in the first round will not be a disater, He is the cream of the crop, The only question is can you get another decent RB 20 picks later? You can surely get another quality QB later. I've never taken a QB in the first round that I can remember..I have taken Moss in the first round when I was drunk!!

Still got 3 guys to go plus Lorin's 2nd roll. 2 of them are on leave though so I guess we wait for a little while. No big deal though.
Right now voting for the way we do the draft is 4-3 in favor of slow draft. Site says 4-3 in favor of one day draft but see post 16.
You could do worse than Manning in the 1st. Keep in mind we will be keeping 2 guys. But you can't keep 2 from the same position. So having the top QB locked up for a while is pretty good!

I'm sure Scotty and Shak who normally get the ball rolling on the Survivor, will shoot a invite to the fellas from last year. I can't see why the mighty TB Raiders won't be on the list. Keep checking just to be sure you don't get left off. Normally the slots go quick..I thought last year was really exciting and I enjoyed the format, it's a blast especially sine I won one of them.
I'll see If I can get the ball rolling...

As it is right now I tentativly have the draft date for the 26th of August at 2PM EST. That is still a couple weeks away from the start of the season so. The 1st game is on the 7th of Sep so I would say the latest we could do it would the 3rd of Sep.
