The following question has been proposed in the league, I need everyone to vote on this in the next two days. The question is should we start the league from scratch? If the vote is yes then we would have to start the draft in the next few days. And I think we should keep the same draft order, but use a serpintine format. A majority vote wins. Please email your votes to edward.nelson-02@grandforks.af.mil, or if you want people to know how you voted then leave your vote on this site. Please respond in the next two days.

I vote yes because I am a new guy entering but I understand there are plenty of guys who have built the team they want so it is probably not fair to them

Amazingly this is Tim Dahl's idea (Tim correct me if I'm out of line) and he is the two time defending champion with a team so loaded he'll win it again this season even if he doesn't play a QB. Out of "niceness" he didn't bid on LT and didn't go hard after Manning because he knows we won't have a chance. I personally would have went for the throat but thats just me. If he's willing to do it then I am too.

Count me as a Yes!

Scotty is right, I did say that I would be willing to start over for the sake of the league. However, I would not be in favor of keeping the same draft order. For me to agree to a restart then we would have to decide the draft order by a roll of the dice at irony.com

I understand Young Guns objection because like me he saved his money for this year while the rest of you raped our teams last year. He and I have the most money by far and can turn this into a two horse race which kind of takes the fun out of it for the other 10 owners.

Here is a suggestion that may appeal to Young Guns, maybe we could all keep one keeper and then decide the draft order by rolling the dice on Irony.com.

Whatever we do, we need to get this decided ASAP.

I am with Tim, I think we are in need of starting over and maybe tweaking some rules. Not keeping the same draft order though.

Absolutely yes - I took a terrible team with only $20 so I couldn't even get a decent RB.
Redraw random draft order (serpentine).

I also think that we may need to change some rules. Maybe some compensation when you lose a RFA like the NFL does. MAybe give them 10% of the price the went for (ex. Boldin goes for $16, team X gets $2 (rounded up))

My objection was that i don't think it's fair for the teams who have spent their fantasy dollars more wisely than the other teams over the past 3 years in this league, and i think it's a way for the teams who squandered all their money and are stuck with an awful team to get out of it.

I'll vote YES, BUT I think it isn't fair just to start over new with no consideration for the past 3 years, so i think we should be allowed to keep maybe 1 or 2 players from our current team and then have a random draft, OR start with no keepers and have the draft order decided by either your team's performance last year or by the # of fantasy dollars you had before free agent season, having the highest total go first.

To start over brand-spanking new would be totally unfair.

Young Guns, I do not think it was an issue of not spending wisely, because the teams with the lowest amount of money are new owners in this league. And they did not have the opportunity to spend any money, and they willing picked up that bad team. I really think the issue is, is everyone going to loose interest in the league if the same team keeps winning (I think that was STB Steelers point with is hole thing). So, for your idea of keeping one or two players from the current roster we can have a league vote, I think if we keep one or two players based on the rosters before the RFA Bidding stated. And how fair is it that the teams with the most money pick first? I like STB Steelers idea of rolling the dice on irony.com to determine the draft order. I hope this clears up are few of the items for you and I hope that you will remain in the league?
