Reposting this reminder about playoff rosters.
Trade deadline is Friday.
Players at the primary skill positions (QB, RB, WR) and team defenses may not be added for any reason during the playoffs. Free agents at these positions will be locked out after the final regular season game. You may drop a player at one of these positions, but once dropped, that player cannot be added later.
Players at the other positions (TE, PK, IDP) may be added or dropped according to normal regular season guidelines, subject to playoff claiming priorities, if applicable.
Teams which are not still active in the Championship playoffs may not make any transactions - adds or drops - even if they are still competing in the Consolation bracket.

FYI I did an FA pick up today (D Henderson) but it did not generate an email notice. It is all fine in my lineup.

Great. Games just started and Mcnair throws a 65 yard TD pass to Clayton. Of course McNair is on one of my matchups and Clayton is on the other. Where is my red challenge flag when I need it.....Im sure he stepped out on the Two or something. Might be elimination day for me.

Here we go again. Every week I get to play a team who has at lest 3 players just absolutely go nuts. Goats has done that already in the first half of game one and has about 100 points. Going to be a long day. My other matchup leads the league in points for! Looks like bad scheduling luck. Wish we hadn't switched Game 1 week 7 with week 10 now!!! ;)

QUESTION:
What is the definition of "pass defensed"? Is it when someone has hand in the QB's face? or, when an IDP bats a pass away? or both?
Ref. I feel your pain -- I am playing goats too...sheesh

What constitutes a pass defensed is up to the scorer at each NFL stadium. It's not an official league stat, so it varies widely from stadium to stadium. In particular, the Philly scorer recorded 170 passes defensed last year. The next highest total was 93 in Miami. At the bottom end was New England, where the scorer counted only 36 passes defensed. So as you can see, there isn't really a true standard. It's supposed to be very similar to passes deflected, but it doesn't always work out that way. (stats from Pro Football Prospectus 2006)

I pick up Henderson after his nice performance last week. Horn is still out and they throw all day to some kid named Copper? Not ONE pass even in Henderson's direction!
Sigh.
Oh, well, we'll have some fun in the #9-14 loser's bracket.

I out-thunk myself this week and went for the fences in the hot-hands isntead of some of my steady players. In the meantime, I left about 45 points on the bench. Fortunatley, it isn't going to matter as I still would have lost. I don't mind getting blown out, it's the close ones where my bench players would have won that really bother me. So this is a great week to have my lowest output of the season.

I thought we might have a scoring error, but I don't see it mentioned in any other RIFC thread, so I could be wrong.
I watched Devin Hester score a TD against the Giants, that short FG attempt that he ran back for a 108 yd TD. I understand that he doesn't get the yardage, but per the rules "all players-whether offensive or defensive-will be awarded 6 points for any TD scored"
And in this thread post 193 under IDP scoring "TD 6 (all TDs, whether on offense, defense, or special teams)"

Weykool's scores are adjusted for the Hester TD. AOL says they'll be updated within an hour.
Unfortunately, for weykool, this does not change his record this week. In fact, it makes my margin of victory over him .22 points. I was totally aware how close this would be last night. Plus, his QB was Delhomme, who knelt down to run out the clock on the last 2 plays for a -.20 points.
I was just glad that Tampa Bay ran out of downs before Peppers had a chance to get another sack.

I just knew that my team was already in trouble when Clinton Portis fell to me because of his preseason shoulder injury as the last pick in the first round of the draft. Then, I read some article last week that he was whining about something and almost benched his sorry butt. But once again, I went against my gut and got burned.
It makes me very happy to dump this guy since he's been put on IR. I hate to say never, but I'm never going to have him on a roster of mine again.

The Elias Sports Bureau reviewed film of the Redskins-Eagles game and changed the ruling on a TD by Correll Buckhalter from a 37 yard Offensive Fumble Recovery TD (off of a reception and fumble by Reggie Brown) to a 55 yard passing TD from Donovan McNabb. The following stats have changed as a result:
• Donovan McNabb: from 222 passing yards to 257 passing yards. • Donovan McNabb: from 1 passing TD to 2 passing TDs. • Correll Buckhalter: from 1 own fumble recovery for 37 yards and a TD to 0 fumble recoveries. • Correll Buckhalter: from 0 receptions to 1 reception for 55 yards and a TD. * Reggie Brown: from 2 receptions for 38 yards to 1 reception for 18 yards

Yahoo! has automatically made this change.
CBS has said they only make it automatically if the change is made on Tuesday--otherwise they will tell you what the change should be so you can make it manually.
AOL: My guess is that since it hasn't been done already, we will have to automatically change this as we had to do with Hester's MFG return for a TD.

I'm going to give AOL another 24 hours before I make any changes.
Buckholder is a FA, so no change there.
VP has McNabb and I'm pretty sure he was starting.
As for Reggie Brown: he's on Judy's roster, but I can't recall if he was in her lineup or on her bench.
When looking at the weekly results it shows the scores for the entire roster and does not specify starter or bench.

Judy, it's the first game at the top. You can also look at your team's schedule which shows you facing Master.
Two weeks (four games) left.
Playoff position are the top 6 in our list. The 7th and 8th teams are flip-flopped based on points, but Peter N is just out of 8th with about 30 points. Master needs wins to supplant twilson (two out) or hold off Peter in points. Judy needs to win out and get very lucky to have a chance. Not sure if it is mathematically possible or not. Will check on that stuff next week.
Kudos to sw, you has won four straight now to climb out of the celler and is less than 3 points from advancing another spot. He had the 2nd highest team score last week. TD is killing and got the high score for the year I believe.
There are some key matchups, but mainly jockeying for seeds. The top 4 appear to be in and I think it would even be tough to knock the 5th team (me) out--even though I gotta face the #1 team and a team that needs points to make it (peter n). Because of points, twilson probably needs to win another game or maybe even two to assure his spot. Muhahos has struggled mightily lately, scoring just 99 points and losing by 3 last week in one of his games to Master. He plays Astade who has fallen to last place with his sixth straight loss. But also needs a win against Goats who has won four straight.
sw faces TD and Pete. Will be tough to continue his streak given TDs remarkable play and Pete's desperate need of points. Could be playing spoiler, but to be honest, wins and losses aren't as important as points to Pete now.

Judy does hav e amathematical chance to make the playoffs. Needs to win out and have my team or twilson to lose all four. Also needs the other teams ahead of her to lose almost all of their games.
Muhahos might actually be able to back into the playoffs based on points. If you take that into consideration and no major unexpected outcomes then it comes down to Pete and Master to the final playoff spot. Still things can happen to throw wrenches in that!

oops, I missed it because it was highlighted...
The best I can do is 14-10 and with my tendency to NOT score points, I suspect that I am "out". But I will go for that 14-10 record... Brady's 1.34 two weeks ago cost me two wins...
is there a loser's bracket where those of us at the bottom can go for some more?
Like this: FIRST WEEK of PLAYOFFS Bye for 9 and 10, (or they can play each other for practice...) 14 v 11 (winner to get 10), 13 v 12 (winner to get 9)
THE NEXT WEEK 9 and 10 v previous winners
FINAL WEEK: last two standing!
Otherwise I'll just root for TD (whom I beat twice! LUCK!)

Playoff roster limitations:Players at the primary skill positions (QB, RB, WR) and team defenses may not be added for any reason during the playoffs. Free agents at these positions willbe locked out after the final regular season game. You may drop a player at one of these positions, but once dropped, that player cannot be added later. Players at the other positions (TE, PK, IDP) may be added or dropped according to normal regular season guidelines, subject to playoff claiming priorities, if applicable. Team which are not still active in the Championship playoffs may not make any transactions - adds or drops - even if they are still competing in the Consolation bracket.
I'm sure we will do it however RIFC is doing it. Play for fun? Barring a precedent, what if we simply went 9 v 12 and 10 v 11 and give something for team 13 and 14 to strive for the last two weeks? They'd finish a week early. Maybe 13 can play 14 that first week to try and stay out of the basement? Just thoughts. I don't care to be honest.

I usually suffer through ESPN's pregame show to get the latest injury updates from Chris Mortensen. Morts reports are updated in the last hour of the show.
Colston is going to be a dreaded game time decision. I have him in 2 Yahoo leagues and at this time plan not to start him, but that could change.

Scoring question: Why did Vince Young get credited with the fumble that LenDale White dropped? Also, Fujita had a sack on Vick in the first half. It wasn't a running play and he didn't get back to the line of scrimmage.
Hmmm -- I only need a few more points...
The timing error (3 minutes!) on benching Colston hurt me; my only sub was Reggie Brown and he had enough points to help me in one game...

Judy, anytime an exchange from the QB to a RB is fumbled, the QB gets charged with it.
As to the Fujita play, if it's not changed by AOL you have the option to challenge. The rule is as follows:
"During the regular season: Scoring errors (for whatever reason) will be corrected whenever they are called to the attention of the Commissioner. This includes those due to scoring changes announced by the NFL after the initial stats are released.
However, the results of any head-to-head game will not be changed, regardless of a subsequent scoring change, unless the score is challenged prior to midnight (Pacific time) on the Saturday following that game week. A challenge must be posted by a manager in the current RIFC discussion thread at the RotoGuru forum.
In the event that a winner-changing challenge is posted by the deadline, then the manager of the opposing team will be given until midnight (Pacific time) on Monday (i.e., 48 hours later) to post any additional scoring challenge for that game. If that second challenge is upheld and it restores the original winner of the game in question, then the game result shall stand as originally posted.
The only exception is following the final week of the regular season. At midnight (Pacific time) on the Wednesday following the final regular season game, all challenges must be posted. No challenge filed after that time will impact any regular season result. However, if a late challenge causes a changed game result, the manager of the new losing team will have 24 hours to post an additional challenge.
Comments: 1. You have until the end of Saturday to challenge the result of your game. If you find a scoring error that changes a game result and it is posted before the Saturday night deadline, then the opposing manager gets until Monday to check for any additional errors.
2. If a scoring error is noticed after the related Saturday deadline, the fantasy points will still be corrected, but the result of the game (winner and loser) will not be changed. The points could still come into play for playoff seeding.
3. The drop dead date is midnight on the Wednesday following the final regular season game.
Playoffs A scoring challenge must be posted by midnight Wednesday. The losing team will have an additional 24 hours to respond to the challenge."
The official stats of that game and every play can be found at NFL.com->scores-> gamebook of any game
1-7-NO7 (2:30) M.Vick left tackle to NO 8 for -1 yards (S.Fujita).
I remember the play and was looking for it to come up in the live scoring. Not sure why it wasn't officially ruled a sack.

Re: 59
If it was a designed running play, as many of Vick's runs are, perhaps it wasn't a sack but a running play with a QB. Perhaps since he didn't drop back like a pass, they don't count it as a sack? Just a thought.

It was my fault, I should have put Colston on the bench until he was cleared to play -- that way I could have had plenty of time to add R Brown (6.9 pts) since he was a later game (He was my only WR on the bench.) I am STILL learning! I'll be smarter next year!

Top 8 look pretty good, but Pete could still sneak in there by scoring more than 32.5 more than Master in each of his two games. Master could still mathematiclaly finish in the top 6 and still keep Pete out that way as well. The seeding from #2-#6 can still change a great deal. twilson could still mathematiclaly be knocked out of the playoffs I believe as well and he has just 15 more points than Master--though that would take a LOT to do and would have to look at who he plays to see what kind of chance that even has of happeneing. Pete really hurt himself by not scorng more points last week--but he still has a legitimate chance.

We start with the 6 non-playoff teams seeded based on W/L. For the second round, those 3 winners plus the highest scoring loser advance to the next round, with the highest scoring loser playing the top seed, unless those teams already met in the first round.

Looking at the schedule, here is what would have to happen to change the top 8 playoff teams.
twilson and master could be ousted--though they both control their own destinies based on points. If they score enough--win or lose--they are in.
Based on points alone--I am in--even if I lose both--if I tie--I have the tiebreaker there as well in points (since we'd plit H2H).
Master plays Ref/Skeepers twilson plays sw/goats
If master wins both and twilson loses both and pete outscores twilson by around 40 per game he can get in. If master wins both and I lose both, pete is out. Otherwise the earlier scenario holds that Pete just has to top Master by like 32.8 per game or so. Not probable but possible.

I can't find the right formula this year. Every move I make seems to be the wrong one. I've dropped guys the week before they exploded. Just ask Ref and smallwhirled. I've made poor management decisions and left a ton of points on my bench. You need a certain element of luck in this game and I've had none. Very frustrating considering all the time and effort I've invested in this league, but it's been fun and gratifying to commish this league.

re: last night's game. When the games are only on NFL network no one publicizes it. I think there is one every Thursday from now on as well. And there are some Saturdays that are only on NFL network. It stinks! Worse, I had to pick my W/L pool list yesterday for the whole NFL card. Fortunately, most games seem to be obvious W/L wise, although Philly might surprise Carolina...
I have Comcast Basic plus BUT I needed to subscribe to their digital packages to get NFL network. I finally bit the bullet and got it yesterday -- It gives me National Geographic and other channels I wanted to watch anyway. For now, it is only $7 more per month -- who knows what it will go to after the year promo is over...
But still, the local paper didn't really promote the game and sometimes I don't get to the paper until 10 at night!

Playoffs are looking a little clearer. Pete has put himself in position to make it. He still has Keyshawn tomorrow. Twilson was horrible this week, but still makes the playoffs unless Master wins both of his games. Unofficially, he'll need 36.3 or so to beat me--less to beat Skeepers, but must win them both or twilson is in. He can still get in if he scores enough.
Odds are that Smith won't score that many points so it comes down to Master vs. Pete in points.
Coming into the week 65.8 pts ahead (32.9 per game).
Right now unofficially: Pete has 139.28 x 2 = 278.56 Master has 102.48 x 2 = 204.96
Difference is 73.6 Subtract the 65.8 and Pete is 7.8 points ahead going into the final game. If the stats hold (and they will probably change a smidge) Steve Smith must outscore Keyshawn Johnson by 7.8 to tie.

KJ is averaging 8.17 for the year but had just 3.8 last week.
SS is averaging 16.45 but had just 9.8 last week. So if they both hit their yearly average, and all the other scores stay the same, Master would make the playoffs by about a half point. If they both hit the same score as last week, Pete would advance by about 3 points or so.

Pete scored 154.76 this week (even with a hurt Troy Polamalu in his lineup--should have scored at least 5 points more) Master scored 114.88
So huge comeback assuming the numbers hold.
Speaking of comebacks, that late INT by the Eagles D gave Judy an unofficial .06 win--though with the IDPs in the lineup, that could easily change. We've had that happen to us already this year when wins were changed the next morning.

There were no stats in the paper this am, but I was hoping for a Dawk PD for the Lito interception...They seem to have added a .5 Cole tackle and 2 Dawk tackles.
I hope it stands up!

The Brackets are set up and I've got them listed on the league home page. The Consolation bracket will be re-seeded with the three winners and the highest scoring loser playing the highest scoring winner. The Championship brackets are static (no-reseeding).

Consolation. All kinds of twists in this matchup. But the loser with the highest score will play the winner of Master/astade game as I stated before with the reseeding UNLESS it is Master or Astade. In that case, in order to prevent them from having a rematch we will reseed it again and use the team with the highest points for the week to play that team. If it's still the same matchup, then we will assign the #2 team for the week I suppose.

I don't like hearing "consolation" and "Astade" in the same sentence. Horrible end to the season for me....10 consecutive losses!
Around mid-season, I thought I had turned the corner and would finish in the middle of the pack.
It's convenient, but I blame getting a job in Nov (11/6/06 to be exact) to be the primary cause. j/k.
Congrats to Skeepers for a dominating regular season ('til the last week).

No pickups for us in the consolation round. TD is in the Championship bracket and can make limited transactions.
It's just one of the rules voted in by the RIFC. As a qualifying league we are bound by those rules.

It's been tough as my top two draft picks are hurt. My 3rd rounder has been underperforming. I could go on, but I've had to turn over my roster to some degree. I've left a lot of points on my bench. Be that as it may, I still have a shot. I guess that is if TD doesn't have his guys go nuts again--starting with LT. All eight teams have shown the ability to score a boatload of points and it truly is anyone's title for the grabbing.

Not that I'm aware of, but if you want to start one here's the place.
Quit your whining (j/k). I know six teams in the consolation round who would love to trade places/teams with you. Probably a few in the championship round also.
I don't know anything, this year, but your team looks pretty stout to me. I know you were swept last week, but now's not the time to panic. Nothing you can do with your skill players at point anyhow. Maybe a little bad luck having LJ playing your Baltimore D, this week, but what are you going to do, bench LJ? That's crazy. I'd go with the horses that brung ya and hope for the best. You've had good luck all year. Unless you have a crystal ball to see into the future, it's hard to predict. All's I know is that mine has been busted all season.
Overall, I had an awesome year, last year. I won 3 out of 7 leagues I was in and my only sucky team was my RIFC AAA squad. Not a top 5 pick on any team, but looking back, I was very lucky. This year, no luck on any team.

I think that the NFLNetwork has overplayed their hand, bigtime. I have too much family stuff going on midweek to watch an NFL game on Thursday, even if I could. Tradition has mandated all day Sunday and MNF as the times I watch the NFL. Plus watching Gumble and Co on the NFLN is akin to an Ambien CR and a pint of cheap hooch: a real snoozer.
Saturday nights ain't going to work either. At this point the NFLN will have TO PAY ME to watch them.
Yet another unintended consequence of a greedy decision.

Just for grins, I looked on Kafenatid to my illustrious 14th round draft. I have 10 players from my original 24 players. Portis and Hasselbeck were injury busts.
My best pick looks to be in the 7th round, Marion Barber III, who was chosen mostly as JJ's handcuff and Parcell's tendency to go RBBC with these RBs.
I really can't complain about the 14th pick. At 13th, GB has done very well and only 2 of the top 6 teams in the draft even made the championship round and only 1 has a chance to win it all.
Speaking of GB, her 3rd round pick of Frank Gore was instrumental to her success this year.

MJD very interesting though i have seen others post that picking near the back is better than at the begginning of drafts though it has worked out well for me this year. the one think i like about either near the front or near the back is how you get back to back or near to that picks. you are right about gore being a great pick in the 3rd round, despite the fact that brees is leading my team i really think the steal of the draft for me was A Green i think i got him in like 6th round i remeber thinking he is still here man i know he old but still he is a starter.

Hmm. I still have 11 of my original picks.
BUSTS were Cadillac (1), Heap(4), Keenan(6), TJ Duckett(7), Stokely(10), Freeney(11), Boulware(13), M Williams, (17) J Reed (18), B Marshall (20) (I don't even know who he IS!) I had to keep Cadillac as there were no other RB and I kept hoping he would get better...The others are long gone. INJURIES hurt Kearse(12), Keenan, Stokely. (All gone.) DISAPPOINTMENTS were Brady(3) (average most of the time) Heap, Keenan, Stokely, Freeney, Vrable (22) (until recently). I dumped the last 5.
I liked Reggie's Bush (2) and Brown (5), Dawkins (8), Joey Porter (15), D Hall(24) (on occasion).
My good FA/WW pick ups still with me are Colston, Henderson, V Young, Kampman, Fujita. (I also dropped and then repicked Buckhalter and Crowder.)
By the time I realized that my RB were not too good, there were none left to pick up. I relied on my IDP for lots of points and tried to find good guys there.
I have learned a lot this year about how to frame a team and will be much more ready and knowledgable for next year. I wish I could keep a couple of my guys from this year! I already have a good idea of picks for 2007!

I'm going on vacation in about 30 minutes. Sketchy internet service until x-mas. I've set my lineup for the next two weeks.
mjd: If you could look in on my team Sunday morning and replace anybody that is definitely out, I would appreciate it. Quarles is the main one. It says he will probably play. Chambers is probable. He should be OK. Thanks and good luck to all.
I tried to talk the wife out of it, playoffs and all ; but she wouldn't go for it.

I know how you feel. During the football season, I'd much rather be a homebody. My idea of a great vacation is during baseball spring training in Fla or AZ.

Thankfully my nightmare season should end today <>).
Could have been worse, Judy. Treasonists could not afford 3 picks by Farve against the Goats. And Grossman on his bench with almost 20 points.
Skeepers with an untimely poor stat game by Brees. Though I watched that game and the Washington D really played well for the second time this year. Go figure.

Goats and treasonists are neck and neck. I have a big lead but he still has LJ and I don't ever underestimate him. I've again left a lot of points on the bench. Wish I wouldn't have subbed Chester Taylor in this morning afterall. Losman went nuts too on my bench.

Looks like my opponent will be decided tonight - two Johnsons going against each other (fantasy wise)...
I had one of my highest point totals this weekend... neat!
Titans win was a weird one -- good thing I sat Vince; I left their defense on the bench, but the Eagles def came through.

Hi all!
What a rollercoaster ride this has been. You have no idea how many times I paced around the living room screaming I hate this game! I thought for sure I was one and done in the playoffs and then the Goats went Vicious, as they are meant to do. Thursday night's Gore performance had me feeling depressed until he decided he should run for 104 yards in the last quarter (that was almost better than sex, but not really!). And yes, Gore was a gamble, but at that point in the draft, I was desperate to find a non RBBC, starter. It paid off (better than Rhodes, anyway!)
Congrats to everyone keeping with it, and thank you for being such great colleagues. I feel it was a good group, and I apologize for being "absent" from the message boards for so long. We did take a good vacation to the Med, where we had to pay 50 cents a minute for excruciatingly slow internet, so just getting through the roster changes was a challenge during that time. Definately, no time for chit-chat!
Ref, it will be a pleasure facing you in the "Holiday-bowl", and I wish you the best of luck... although I'm wishing myself just a little more luck! Hopefully we will have no injuries or players pulled during the games so we can really go head-to-head. I have Driver and Mush as Questionnable, so I'll have to watch that as the week goes on. However, I don't really feel like starting Moulds.... decisions, decisions!
Boikin, sorry for your loss; You've been amazing all year.
My main computer which had all the links and cookies on it is down. I'm on my backup computer. If someone could email me the league info so I can get on the site quicker, I'd appreciate it.
GB, I am capable of beating you, but I need to be solid and not leave points on the bench. Your team has improved after a midseason speed bump and I'd say you are the clear favorite to win.
Despite some hiccups early, there are still some very good managers in this league and hopefully more than one will be in the RIFC next year. With only one AA team, perhaps things will work out that way. No matter if I win or come in 2nd, I had a heck of a time and really like this format that Guru and others have laid out. It's been a lot of fun and my guess is that most of us will play next year.

Hi Ref,
Just sent you an old e-mail containing the League Info. I can't say that I agree about the words "clear favorite", although I do have pretty good matchups, which are causing me to overthink some decisions.
Your definately capable of beating me, and vica-versa... which is why (I think) we all love to play! I'm definately intending on playing next year, I'd just like it to be in the RIFC! In any event, I'll be lurking aroung again come August, right in time to get upset at people who hold up the draft (just kidding).
Enjoy the games and holiday season... drink and cheer responsibly!

GB, in the playoffs, you're averaging 175 points. I am averaging 147. Your matchups are far better than mine. My top 2 picks are injured. My 3rd pick had .7 points last week. My 4th pick had like 3 or 4 points. Both of my healthy RBs are WW guys whom I picked up right before the playoffs just in case and I've used both of them already. A couple of my top IDPs are hurt. One has a cast over his entire hand and the other was knocked out early last week with a concussion. luckily most of the rest of my guys really stepped up. I don't have the greatest of matchups this week, but I do have hope of doing well anyhow. I know my guys have it in them, just need to have it all come together. With all the injuries I've had to deal with this year, a win this week would be all the more sweeter!

Ref: I can't say that I'm not salivating about matchups such as Manning facing Houston; or Gore trampling Arizona. Although sometimes players do fail to achieve their best performances at crucial times. I'm just happy that everyone should still be playing instead of sitting their studs because they've already achieved their best case scenario (either playoff wise or otherwise). So it should be fun, and we'll just have to see what happens.
Considering all of the mishaps that you have listed, you really played one hell of a season. I just think I had one heck of a great draft!
See you on Sunday (I mean, I'll swear at your team on Sunday)
Best, V.

My RB and IDP situations are a mess right now. I am reading that I might get back Brown this week though and Taylor thinks he will play. I cna't have hope and think fellas! I had 4 injured IDPs so I just dumped one of them and the other one wasn't doing anything anyhow. I doubt I'll use the guys I got, but with two LBs listed as Q, I needed some guys just in case--even if they just sit on my bench.

LOL, all 5 of my RBs are now suspect with Cedric Houston now likely to miss the game. Brown hasn't played in weeks but now says he hopes to go--making Morris not a good start either. Taylor goes tonight and no new info on him today but he hasn't been able to play at full strength in awhile. Henry is also banged up and is listed as Q, though he is thought to be trying to give it a go and start. Really need Taylor to start and do well tonight. Also have Barnett, who despite being listed as Q will start again with that club cast on his hand.

Oh Great. Both of my players well underperformed last night whereas GB's one did well (at least he stayed out of the end zone!).
Not a very good start indeed. Taylor and Barnett got about half their average. I have to score well above my averages to win this week. Worse is that Barnett lost a point this morning. I was hoping for Taylor would be great so I could have some hope going into the weekend. I guess there is still hope, but I'm back to the huge underdog thinking mode. Man, I need some nice surprises as well as players hitting and surpassing their averages.

That was a brutal game to watch. The defensive aspect of the game far outscored the offence. Ref, I was just happy you don't have either of these D's, which both scored in the low 20s.
Driver gave me an OK performace. I kept waiting for the TD which never came. Darn you Bubba Franks! If it were't for that holding call, there would have been three opportunities for Driver in there. Oh, well, I can't spit on 99 yards. Will definatley take it.
Now I just hope that everyone plays as expected for the weekend (and Monday). Did you notice we both have a bunch of guys playing on Monday? I have 3 and I believe you have 4. So this won't is probably not going to be over until the very end. Good stuff!
