Right now I think
Marc Bulger (StL - QB) Maurice Jones-Drew (Jac - RB) Shaun Alexander (Sea - RB) Marques Colston (NO - WR,TE)
and one of the following:
Chris Chambers (Mia - WR) Laveranues Coles (NYJ - WR) T.J. Houshmandzadeh (Cin - WR)
If anyone would like to make a 2-for-1 keeper deal, I would package a pair of my receivers, or possibly a receiver and an RB, etc.
Also, how is positional eligibilty determined? (Wondering primarily about Colston).

Updating planned keepers:
QB Bulger RB Jones-Drew RB Alexander WR Houshmandzadeh WR Colston
These RBs and WRs are tradeable in a 2-for-1 upgrade type deal (probably not moving Bulger), or possibly including any of these guys:
QB Byron Leftwich RB Chester Taylor WR Laveranues Coles WR Chris Chambers TE Chris Cooley

I have a question. If you move a player, let's say for a draft pick, wouldn't that pick now take a spot as one of your keepers?

No...you get to keep 5 players as well as any extra picks you manager to get through trades.
However if you trade a pick for a player, you cannot keep that player and 5 of your own players.
So...you keep only 5 players no matter what you do with trades, and you can keep any picks you manage to get as well.
I hope that makes sense!

But, since there is a certain amount of roster spots, wouldn't that pick take a spot? Sorry if I can't get my head rapped around this.

If you gain an extra pick now, you basically "lose" your last round pick, since you'll have a full roster by then... we'll just skip that pick when it comes up.
Of course, you might make additional trades during the draft, so until the pick comes up and you have a full roster, you don't lose it.
But acquiring the pick has no bearing on the 5 keepers. Those keepers are exclusively players on your squad, not picks. If you trade away one of your planned keepers for a pick today, then you need to designate another player (from last year's team) to replace the traded player as your "5th keeper".
HTH.

Hey all...check your email for league info and a couple of settings changes.
Remember, keepers are due by noon today, unless someone can pose an excellent reason for postponing the deadline!

Question...
How do I change the waiver claim process to disable all waiver pickups until our deadline? Is it just a matter of freezing rosters, or is it a total honesty policy?

I think Electro's is pretty obvious (just swap out the traded players... he wouldn't have traded for him if he wasn't going to keep him)... but yeah, he should probably post here just to be sure.

Alright...
I am going to set up the Kafenatid part of the site, but, starting this weekend I am going to have very limited internet access due to working in Alaska.
If I set up and pay for the kafenatid draft service, would someone step up and kind of run things on there should there be a problem? I have sent an email to KKB finding out if I can pay and have someone else run the show...
Let me know!

Don't know if any one is interested, but how the 60 keepers go by position is this:
QB-16 RB-22 WR-19 TE-3
One thing that I found interesting is that two teams didn't keep a QB.

Frick, I have to say I was a bit disheartened that if you were looking for a trade you didn't respond to my post... and more specifically that you didn't so much as respond with a "no" to my email. I thought Coles or Chambers would be significant upgrades over Reggie Williams as your 5th keeper, and wasn't really looking for much in return... and even if you disagree with this assessment, in the future the courtesy of a reply would be appreciated.

Doug I apologize, my life has been a bit busy for the last couple of days. I was in a car wreck at lunch time yesterday and I have been trying to get that taken care of and keep up with my job. Along with some other personnel issues I will admit that I have fallen behind.
I would probably have done the offer that you made. It was a significant upgrade for a minimal cost. Unforunately I didn't have the opportunity to respond and for that I apologize.

Sorry to hear about your accident... totally understandable.
Honestly I've been a bit frustrated overall lately with some managers in OTHER leagues that I play in... the climax was the day before yesterday when I had a guy trade away a player to another manager for a 2008 4th rounder when I had already offered a 2008 3rd rounder for the same player. I asked him why he took the inferior offer, wondering if it was personal thing or what exactly (we've never had any conflicts that I can recall), and he hasn't responded. That one is really chafing my hide still.
So it wasn't a big deal, just kinda moreso "the straw that broke..." on my end. "Mounting frustration", sometimes it kinda makes me wonder if I invest too much time into fantasy football, but then I also know I wouldn't enjoy the game as much if I didn't! ;)
Again, sorry to hear of your accident, fortunately it doesn't sound like it was too serious but nevertheless its always a headache to deal with such things. Best of luck doing so.
