This Initial Individual Defensive Player (IDP) Draft will be comprised of 4 rounds. The draft will snake.
We ask that only picks go in this thread except from the commish's who may need official business (i.e. draft pick trades, etc.) Please use the draft discussion thread in this forum for all discussion until the draft is over.
As a reminder, you may only select a DL, LB or DB who are listed at one of these positions in the CBS database. If you select someone who plays at another position according to CBS, the draft will continue and the next manager will be on the clock. You will then be able to repalce that pick at any time on a first pick, first post basis.
Please make your picks in this format:

Please check the FA list on the site before you draft so there are no duplicate picks. After you make your pick, please go straight to CBS and add your player, then email the next three managers and let them know they are up (email addys are listed on the Team manager page). That way the teams behind you will be ready and will know all the players who are available to be drafted. If you make a duplicate pick, the draft will continue and you may correct that pick at any time. It is wise to continue to check the draft thread and discussion thread for a few mins after you pick. If everyone follows these directions, this mistake should not occur.
There will be a per pick time limit to start the draft of THREE hours and a cumulative draft clock of FIVE hours. This means that your total time you take to draft each round will continue to accrue. If you hit 5 hrs you will be skipped automatically. If you are skipped due to a pick or cumulative clock, you may still post your selection at any time. If you have not selected your last pick by the time it is your turn to pick again, you will be skipped automatically (This also means end caps get a single time limit). The commishs may reduce clocks as needed. Time will not accrue between midnight and 8 am ET, but picks may still be made during this time.
As always, you are invited to leave a queue (Q) with anyone in or outside the league. Please make sure that the person has received your Q and can make your pick for you before you assume it is done (esp. via email). As long as your Q is posted in a timely manner, you will not be charged any time on your c clock. A Q is a list of names that someone has for you BEFORE it is your turn to pick. If your pick is commincated after you're on the clock, it will count the same as if you would select it. We have an aggressive c clock because of our limited time.
Managers are responsible to know when other managers are skipped or timed out and their clock begins. We will try to assist throughout.
With that said, Yokel's Jaquars have the first pick and may pick as soon as the draft chart is posted! The draft clock will begin on his pick or Noon ET, whichever happens first.
