I would like to propose that going forward, any spot that is not nominated within 12 hours would be treated like a full roster, with the player with the most non-bid open slots then allowed to nominate the next player.
That doesn't help us much now though, as I abhor retroactive rule changes. We may need to set a deadline to get a player named and continue. Thoughts?

I have no problems with that notion.
Along those lines, absent some severe and strenuous objections...if JH hasnt named a player to the board by 18:00 eastern, Brewfan would be then enabled to make such a naming.

I'd agree and would like to keep it moving along whenever possible. I'm all for a retroactive rule change on this one.
That may be partly selfish interest as I'd like to hit the fast-forward button until the Dollar General portion of the draft starts, so if there's a strong objection don't let me stand in the way.
I'd suggest a 8-hour deadline after a player is sold before their right to name a player gets lost. If we are one light it's probably not fatal, but 2 or more can get ugly.

Board is still lite 1, and has been for FAR too long. Bidding, and the clock, were suspended at 13:02. Bids placed after that time stamp, have not been logged. If those bidders still wish to bid, then they will have to restate them.
JACKHAMMERS...you have 5 miutes from the time stamp of this post, to name one to the board.
If those 5 minutes come and go, then BREWFAN (as the manager with the most open slots), will be authorized to name a player to the board in JHs stead.
Bidding and the clock, will restart once one of those two persons, names a player to the board.

rather than restart the clock at an unk time,
clock will restart at 18:32. (This is precisely 5 1/2 hours after the suspension and thus makes it viable for updating bid end times.)
BREWFAN has until 18:18 to name one to the board.
If by 18:18 he has not done so..
SLOWHAND would have until 18:28 to do so. If not yet done, WIGGS is next up to name one.
