Someone suggested I start a new thread. Maybe they were thinking I'd draft quicker if my name was on the thread. ;)
Anyway, here we go.
By the way, anyone else excited to see the new version of Apocolypse Now Redux? I just got a DVD player for my b-day and plan to pick that movie up as soon as it comes out! |

Interesting fact. The "NFL" draft which started the same time as ours has yet to complete the 2nd round. Any wonder why that league wasn't a "keeper"?

I don't want to take advantage of anyone for being gracious enough to use the autopick. After all, we've got 2 weeks to complete the draft. IMHO of course.

I think you're right, and I'm willing to play gatekeeper for the group in front of me.
I think several of them have been through the queue twice now on auto - Probably close to empty.
Is there a way to tell when they went on Auto?

Cliff - nope. And even if you could, without access to their queue, you don't know if they started with 6 or 12 players in it.
Too risky IMO. If this was cut-throat, I wouldn't mind, but I can't do that to buds.
I can go check Greg's queue status. Back in 5.

Greg's in good shape. His queue's almost full. Either he anticipated being away and set it up that way, or he's drafting a lot of guys no one else wants. ;-)
I'd say we could go around the horn one more time and stop when it gets back to you or I. I expect Fred filled his queue up also knowing the competition if he was going to be away for awhile.

Guys,
I'm getting ready to go out for a couple of hours.
My intent is to leave things like they are and then check when I get back to see if we've heard from StLCards.
I could pick and go to auto, but just don't feel that is fair to the guys that have been on auto for a couple of rounds.
Besides, we are doing well time wise.

Between you, Peter & the dozen drafts we've done the past few years, my draft strategy is pretty compromised anyway! ;-)
I will fess up to stealing Reggie Wayne from Peter. He grabbed him in our other draft and then crowed a leeetle too loud about it. ;-)

You'll have to be logged in on a sandbox ID (it'll prompt if not), but any ID will allow you to "view" the list.

FYI - I'm having a very hard time getting the forums to load. It's taking a couple of minutes to load each page when it normally takes a couple of seconds.
I posted a ? in the baseball forum yesterday and Guru replied saying there was a problem at the service provider. It appears they haven't corrected it yet as it's still happening this AM.
The emails are coming out pretty timely so we can track the picks that way until this clears up.

Fred - no such animal. You have to kill all open windows for that browser session and restart a new copy.
Sandbox actually has a "Logoff" button on the Main Sandbox page (not sports), but TMK, it's never worked.

Bit by the autodraft gotcha! I had too many unfilled RB slots and autodraft ignored my next pick and so very nicely took a RB for me. Could have been worse I guess. No way Hearst holds up all year anyway. Looks Kevin Barlow goes from consideration and straight to my team. Oh well, who knows?

Yup, this is the time of the draft (last 5 rounds) where open slots on your card dictate whether you can autodraft properly (whom you want).
My card's unbalanced so I doubt if I'll be able to auto anymore. 3 more rounds after this one in 13 days. No problem. :-)
