Once I get the email from GURU, we'll get the entry into FanBall
and get the draft order all set up for Kafenatid so we'll be ready
to go.
Would anyone volunteer to do that two sets of random numbers
thing for me to set the draft order? We'll do it in this thread and
save the next thread for other stuff.
Please be sure to send GURU the $6 league fee and consider
adding a bit more and becoming a patron. He does good work
and makes sure our leagues are successful and fun to play in.

Step up in this space and figure it out for us, using the original
order listed in #23. Show all work (just like in math class oh so
many years ago...)

Good job -- still waiting for two to sign in to Kafenatid and I will
set the order there and activate us.
Possible dates:
August 15 (Friday) untimed draft starts
August 18, 6 AM EDT timed (6 hours/pick) starts
These seem to be what the RIFC big guys are planning to do, so
we will follow suit. This should allow us to finish by Labor Day
without too much trouble.
I still need 5 people to sign into Fan Ball, and 3 who signed in
need team names.
If you need another invite to either FanBall of Kafenatid, shoot
me an email.
I know of 2 (for sure) who have sent their $6/5 league fees to
GURU. If you haven't yet, please do it soon so you don't forget.
Also consider an additional donation for his efforts.

I will be traveling to and from Wyoming from August 8 thru August 17. I will try to find a local Internet source to daily check in. A solid week of dawn to midnight fireworks shows, classes, vending, and demonstrations for the PGI convention in Gillette. This only happens every 5 years.
At least I only need a que of 3 for my first pick.

NICE WORK! Everyone is signed up in both Kafenatid and Fan
Ball. I'll be checking with GURU when he gets back from vacation
(8-12) to see who still owes the league fee ($5/6).
I am waiting for the draft start dates from GURU -- see #49 for
the most likely scenario. Also, this year there is NO PAUSE ON
WEEKENDS.
Just for curiosity, what time zones are people in -- just so we
can have a sense of who is awake/asleep or at work?

I know ours in the US is later in the fall and earlier in the spring
and frankly, I would like daylight savings all year. The kids go to
school in the dark in both scenarios and I like the light when I get
home @ 5/6.

SCHEDULES ARE ENTERED IN FANBALL.
With one exception -- week 4 game 2 and week 10 game 2 --
you will play each team once during the bye week and once fully
staffed. It was not possible to "fix" two sets of games -- 4.2
and 10.2, so I tried to spread them out for you. You also do not
have the same two opponents during any week of the season.
Please look over your schedule to be sure you play each team
twice and then so note it here in this thread!

UNLESS, you want it opened earlier. If so, speak up here!
The TIMED draft will begin on Monday with a six hour clock.

Hey
It was fun, but HARD WORK -- by each of us -- I felt like a real
GM / negotiator. The fun now will be to see who gets what
player and then do another comparison after the draft is over --
and at the end of the season as well!
Dave and I had a sneaky way to get past his work email last year.
I will try it. It didn't work - he must have changed the address.
Oh, well at least he let us know when he would be picking!
With any luck, we might get through round one and maybe into
round 2 by Monday!
