If Sandbox autopicked for J before the 24 hr clock started, that's the first time I've ever see that happen in 5 seasons of doing slow live drafts in football.
If that's actually the case, then JW will auto when Perm Dude makes his selection and Blizzard will be up. :-)

He'll pick within the hour. It's his last day to be 16 & he deserves his rest considering he's getting pounded by a bunch of +300lb lineman every day @ Mike LB.
Autodraft is working weird. Autodraft selections are normally tagged onto the email drafting immediately ahead of it. J's & JW's autopicks issued their own separate emails!
As I stated earlier, I've never seen this phenomenon, but it's definately an improvement on past drafts for the savy coaches who know they can kick off early. Wow!

When it was slosh's pick... I had looked at the board and decided that I wanted McNab or Griese and Moss, Harrison or Owens. I didn't really think Moss would make nor did I think both McNab and Griese would, but I did think one of the two would make it.... Oh well, I'm sure that will happen a lot over the next few rounds....
I just tried to call Slosh to tell him he's up, but got no answer, he might be out to lunch, but I'm sure he'll pick relatively soon.

bookie - his football practice is usually over around 6PM CDT. Depending on how much they have to run, he's usually home right around 7PM or a little before. When he gets his "wheels" this weekend, who knows?
I could have logged in and grabbed Ricky W, but I don't have a clue as to who he'd take now.

It should help him to know when his turn might come up... Basically what you said is that it won't be before 7 CDT (or 8 EST), so basically the draft is on a 6 hour hold.

I looked at Jax' first 4-5 games at it looks like some real soft defenses there. Brunell is pretty durable guy so I figured I'd go for the easier points first, then hope the QB situation either clears up elsewhere or injuries bring up guys not drafted here.

Yikes, I think Blizzard's queue may be empty. If he chose to fill 3 QBs in the draft and his queue emptied; auto would take the top available athlete based on his picks per position - which would be Grbac. Maybe J should hold the draft up as it comes back in the next round.

If NE1 get bored, check out the NFL draft thread. There's one guy screwing up our draft like none I've ever been involved in. It's going to get ugly.
Also if anyone is interested in doing a fast live draft, Peter N and I are in a CBS Commish.com draft on Sat. Sept 8. It's a private league of 12 that redrafts each year. There are 2-3 openings for this season and if anyone's interested, I'll pass it along to the commish.
Kevin runs a pretty slick league. He publishes a league newsletter each week and you can talk smack to each other (and maybe back it up). Just let me know pretty soon as he's offered the open slots to our Exit42 league members.
