G24 Managers - You are each invited (although not required) to post your general reflections on the completed draft. Comments may be as detailed or as general as you wish. As a catalyst, free free to comment on any of the following:

1. What was your plan/strategy entering the draft? Were you able to execute as you had planned?

2. What were your favorite picks? Which do you wish you could do over?

3. Looking over all of the teams, which ones do you like the most (other than your own)?

4. What surprised you most about the draft?

5. If you could start over, would you do anything differently?

Non-managers are also welcome to post general comments on the draft, and to raise questions.

Draft Plan
I needed to get contributors, fill in some starting positions, and hopefully find a player or two who would end up as a future keeper. I was hoping someone like Ray Rice slipped through the cracks, but the top rookie RBs were all taken in the top 10 picks. Last year I didn't get my first pick until the bottom of the third round so it was nice having some earlier picks this year. I have average/marginal keepers outside of a couple players and need to upgrade if I want to do more than just be a playoff team drafting at the bottom every season without a championship to show for it.

Draft Picks
1.21 Zach Miller - This is a long term keeper pick. Last season, JaMarcus Russell started the last two games for the Raiders and you could see the chemistry between him and Miller. 11 of Russell's 30 completions in those two games were receptions by Miller. Miller was the top receiving rookie TE in the NFL last season with 444 yards and 3 TD's and that was on a struggling Raider's offense. I expect to see an improved offense for the Raiders with Miller being a big part of the passing game. He will be a top 10 TE in the NFL this season and for many seasons to follow.

2.21 Oakland Raiders - My Achilles heel in this league has been my poor defense. I'm hoping to see a vastly improved Raider defense that can contribute positive fantasy points to my team.

3.21 Mike Peterson - Solid LB starter that fit a need.

4.21 Jacob Hester - I'm hoping for the guy who will fill the vacant Turner role. I actually had my sites set on Fred Jackson who went 2 picks earlier.

5.21 Muhsin Muhammad - Could be a boom or bust pick. Brandon Marshall is out for one week (initially three weeks) so I need to have some more flex options for offense early on. With Steve Smith out for the start of the season and being reunited with Delhomme and the Panther offense I figured he was worth a shot. At 35 years old I don't expect to see a repeat of 2004, but it is not outside the realm of possibility to see him better 800 yards and 5 TD's.

6.21 Jeff Reed - I've been giving people a hard time for drafting a kicker early since I've been in the league, but rather than grumble about it I decided to adapt. Last season I had one of the worst kickers in the league and it sucked. This year I'm just hoping for something around average. Reality is this guy is going to start every week for me except his bye week, while plenty of players drafted through-out the league before and after him will never see more than a week or two in the line-up.

7.21 Brandon Lloyd - Pickings were slim for starting players and I read that he earned a starting receiver spot. Back to the Marshall suspension, I needed to fill the gap. Lloyd is a crappy receiver on a very crappy offense and unless he has an epiphany realizing his NFL career is about over if he doesn't produce, he will probably never see my starting roster.

8.21 Freddie Keiaho - Another starting defensive player. I hope he is healthy and can stay healthy all season. If not there are plenty of IDP still available.

9.21 Terry Glenn - Dude isn't even on a team, but he still might have as many catches as Lloyd. Veteran players like Glenn, Alexander, Henry, and Horn won't be picked up by NFL teams until after week one (if picked up at all) so there is a shot he signs with a team who can use him. If not, I need some bye week replacements fairly early in the season and he'd be the first to go. I only have room for one gamble player so chose Glenn over the others metioned because I think he does still have some game (unlike Alexander and Horn) and won't find himself being suspended for drugs, like Travis Henry.

10.21 Brandon McGowan - Needed another IDP for weeks 4 and 5 and had him up on my list. I guess if he loses his job to Kevin Payne I will be looking elsewhere.

11.21 Jovan Haye - Defensive lineman, we start one. Trivia question: Who was the 12th ranked DL in our league last year?

Draft Surprises and Final Thoughts
Every season we seem to have a couple folks who slow it down for everyone else, but we shaved about 30 minutes off the average draft pick time from last year with four extra rounds added this year and even counting the time taken in the last 10 or so picks. It seemed quick enough for me. We had two days that dragged a bit, but for the most part I think it went smoothly.

Lots of IDP were drafted that I had nowhere close to the top of my current rankings when they were picked. I might need a new draft rankings source next season.

MBJ only drafted 4 Bengals. Okay, that is a funny and not a surprise but toss in his boy Brian Brohm from Louisville and I think if we gave out the homer award MBJ would be a serious candidate. =)

Draft Plan

Coming in to this draft I felt like I had very few needs. My keepers were a bit of a question as I thought about keeping Ray Lewis over Chris Brown or Shockey. With Shockey goin to NO and Drew Brees I felt he was worth holing onto and Brown had a very real shot at starting in Houston, of course now he is on the IR so dropping him would have been the wise move.

Since I was keeping 4 RBs I decided to go with a WR since TO isn't getting any younger. Had I kept Lewis over Brown then I likely would have taken Hightower with my first pick. Since I didn't I decided to go ahead and take a WR, either an overlooked starter that might have a good season or a young WR in a good situation.

I also decided to try to find a QB since Garcia is getting older and in a tenuous position. I thought about trading for a QB but since Garcia was a probowler and still a starter, trading for a backup QB didn't seem to make much sense right now. I also knew I wanted to get a K fairly early. Not having a 2nd round pick didn't really bother me this year except that I possibly could have gotten a better IDP. In a way this almost felt like a first round draft followed by an IDP draft.

Draft
1.17 Early Doucett, WR, AZ - I felt good about this pick because it isn't likely that AZ is going to keep both Fitzgerald and Boldin long term and Doucett is a great possession receiver in a passing offense. I except him to get a lot of balls thrown his way this year and for him to develop into a very solid WR and be a worthy keeper next year.

2.17 Traded this pick last year for the Colts DST. At this pick a backup RB was taken so what I really lost was a top IDP pick.

3.17 Phil Dawson, K, Cle. - I had Mason Crosby targeted but DS took him out from under me. Dawson should be among the top K this year and has an early bye week.

4.17 Stewart Bradley, LB, Phi - Hoping for a big year out him as a starting MLB in Philly. I probably could have gotten him later since I didn't see him high on many cheat sheets. Had the 49ers DST been available here I would have taken them, but they went a few picks prior in DST mini run.

5.13 (from Twarpy trade) Morlon Greenwood, LB, HOU - I feel like this was a pretty solid pick for consistent tackles. Not a DeMeco Ryans but he was kept anyway.

5.17 Nate Clements, DB, SF - he came on strong at the end of last year and plays for the 49ers which is the team I own anyway. Just felt I should take a DB before they were all gone.

6.17 Devard Darling, WR, KC - Not real comfortable with only TO and Doucett so decided to take another WR. Darling is young and had some big games in the second half last year. KC should be throwing a lot and Darling has as good a chance as any to start opposite Bowe.

7.17 Kyle Boller, QB, Bal - I knew that Boller was likely going to be the starter so wasn't concerned that he hadn't started the game that cbs claimed he was being passed over for Smith and Flacco. What I didn't realize was the extent of his injury. Wasted pick. Had a one player queue of the Bengals DST sent out but DS took them first. I would also have taken Alex Smith had he been available.

8.17 Matt Stover, K, BAL - knew I wanted two K since I only have 1 starting QB and 1 DST. My other K has an early bye so maybe I can trade one later.

9.17 Tyler Thigpen, QB, KC - This was kind of a compensation pick for Boller. My QB doesn't have a bye until week 10 and there is a good chance that Thigpen takes over as starter by then.

10.17 Ernest Wilford, WR, MIA - Had passed on WRs like Jarret and Battle earlier and thought now I'd take another one that had a chance to do something in case Darling wasn't so Darling this year. Wilford was signed to be the number 1 WR and a slow start hurt his draft status. He should rebound at some point and could be a nice bye week fill in.

11.17 Brian Griese, QB, TB - I knew all along that I wanted the backup for Garcia, I just didn't know who it was going to be. All signs point to Griese so I took him. This leaves me without a DL, but I can get one off waivers before the season starts as I have several players to drop already.

Best Pick
I think it might be Chris Perry. At the time the pick was made I was thinking to myself that he wasn't even on my radar for that high of a pick. Now he is a starting RB, so great pick Slizz.

Draft Plan

I rarely have a hard and fast plan. Generally, I wasn't happy with my keepers. In fact, I had decided to keep Barnett and drop Betts but as I was fixing the managers who forgot to include dropped players and getting the last manager to announce his keepers, time got away from me and it was 12:02...past the deadline. So then my plan --since I didn't have a 2nd or 3rd rounder--was to get back Barnett in the first round. I figured he might make it just becaus emost would go after rookies and other O players who were dropped. If Barentt was gone, I'd prob just get Ahmad Bradshaw and then grab a bunch of IDPs and a WR/RB after that. If Portis goes down, Betts is perhaps the best backup in the NFL. At least for ones who don't split time. Barnett is steady though. Time wil tell.

Draft Picks

1.23 David Harris, LB, NYJ -- OK so I was all set to get Barnett back when I saw that Harris was still there. I think Harris is perhaps in the top 3-5 LBs in the game with huge upside. His consistency will be in his large amount of tackles. I think he will do better than Barnett. Suddenly, I had two LBs I was high on. Since I didn't keep Barnett originally, I felt I had to go LB here. Next pick I will look to go back to LB again unless Bradshaw is overlooked. Of course Bradshaw goes the very next pick. Barnett goes a few picks later.

4.01 Zach Thomas, LB, DAL -- High risk high reward. THis is not a pck I wanted to gamble with. But no WRs jumped out at me and if Zach is healty, he should get me some points--even as he tranisitions to a enw team and to a 3-4. The only reason he fell so far was injury concerns from his concusion. But I researched high and low and every source I could find said he was fine now. We shall see. Not the pick I really wanted here because of the risk, but I just felt he was so much better than everyone else that I had to get him.

4.23 James Harrison, LB, PIT -- It seemed every time I started keying in on someone, he goe soff the board right in front of me. Bradley, Revis and a couple WRs went between picks. Harrison was on my list from my last pick and since he made it back to me and was a possibility last time, I guess I'l take him again.

5.23 John Kasay, K, CAR -- I was really busy and didn't have time to figure out my pick between picks since again the DBs I targeted went right before me. I felt Kasay is actually one of the top 10 Ks or so and since he was left and I have to grab a K anyhow, I just gave him as my Q as I had to leave again. I could have gotten my K muc lower for sure, but I'd rather get a nice K now then reach or make a bad pick here so I got what I think is a quality K. Delhomme should help Kasay's numbers.

6.23 O.J. Atogwe, DB, StL -- I was really tickled to get Atogwe this late. HE was at the end of my DB list when they made a run in the 5th, but after that I didn't think too many DBs would go before it got to me and if they did, I probably wouldn't lose a whole lot of points by taking a lesser DB. He should get a lot of plays with the Rams D.

7.23 Robert Mathis, DL, IND -- I'm kind of in the same situation I was in with my K. I didn't expect to take a DL this high but I felt that Justin Smith was the perfect pick here. He's getting LB plays this year and no longer on the Cincy D. Surely mbj won't get him since he's gone from the BeMgals...DRATS!!!! I was sure I'd get him but since mbj knows his bemgals and ex-bemgals, he knew what was up. I really like Mathis. He kills when he isn't doubled. Freeney coming back means that Mathis should roam free. Also Mathis plays every down and will even switch some to the weak side where he can get a better shot at the QB. He's coming off an injury but is slated to start in week 1 so I nabbed him.

8.15 Rashied Davis WR CHI -- Now I know he plays for the lowly Bears. But how on earth is a WR #1 still around at 8.15? I kept checking everywhere to make sure he wasn't on a team or drafted by someone. I really needed a decent WR as I'll prob have to start my other WRs all the time, so I'm going to need an option when those guys are on byes. Also a couple of them have injury issues and another one is unproven/inconsistent with an equal QB in that respect. Was very fortunate I found him.

8.23 Correll Buckhalter, RB, PHI -- With my suspects RBs, I was just looking for a backup RB who would excel if he got the chance. Even though Booker is listed as the backup on many cheat sheets, I've read that Buck is the real backup. He'll also get some 3rd down plays and hopefully soem GL plays as well. Could be a wasted pick, but who knows.

9.23 Atari Bigby, DB, GB -- This is another DB that I had on my radar from way back when I was targeting a DB. With all the byes, I had to find a DB who was good, not a week 5 bye, who also didn't share a bye with my LBs. Incredibly, Atari met those conditions. Yet I also needed someone who could put up some stats since he'd be playing several weeks. I really wanted D'angelo Hall but he shared the same bye as Atogwe.

10.23 Sebastian Janikowski, K, OAK -- didn't like the backup QBs really at all. This is a K that can be huge. He misses more than he should from mid-range--but he makes the long ones--go figure. He can really have an impact. He'd my backup, but will get in at least once--but who knows.

11.23 Jeff King, TE, CAR -- Again, why take a gamble on a backup QB (since I have two starters already) when I can get a backup TE for the bye week or could even be inserted as a flex if my WRs are injured or on byes or both. He was great last year before Del went down. It's a crap shoot. May be getting thrown back soon.

Overall Impressions

We had 5 more rounds this year but only added a couple days extra to get the draft done. It was agressive and in order to do that we have to have a lot of cooperation. Even though it got stuck in the middle early on and got way bogged down late, we still got it doen before all teh final cuts were made so that no one and a huge unfair advantage. Also we were trying to get doen by Friday late afternoon before Labor Day Weekend got underway. We didn't make it, but we still got done in time to make it fair as could be and get teh waivers turned on by today so they could run twice before opening day. Not having to reduce clocks is HUGE!

This league is not easy and when you're up against other well-studied managers with a great football accumen, it makes things even tougher.

Draft Plan

Well I generally don't go into these things with a true plan.. For me spending to much time on Fantasy drafts can take the edge out of just having fun. An unusual change for me was not having one of the top 3 picks, so wasn't sure who would be there for me at my 7th pick.

My keepers look like strong mediocre players, but seem to always disappoint. Waiting for them all to finally have a year of solid stats. Kicking myself a little bit on keeping Akers though, probably could of kept another Defensive player.

Draft Picks
1.07 Felix Jones, RB, DAL Well definitely was keeping my eyes open for Matt Ryan to be honest. Team has always suffered not having a solid QB. Jerry Jones loves this kid, so I expect he will get a lot of play.

2.07 Nick Barnett, LB, GB With depth already in WR, good depth now in RB and nothing of interest in the way of TE's... figured I would go for a solid defense. Barnett consistently gets 90+ tackles a year.

3.07 Troy Smith, QB, BAL
Well, was definitely searching for some sort of QB that might start this year. He is young, not going to do much with Baltimore this year probably, but might give me some good key matchups when needed and definitely a replacment on a bye week. Now for him to get over his infection.

4.07 Donnie Avery, WR, STL
I think he is going to be a Kevin Curtis type WR. Nothing spectacular, but a worker. And lets been honest, won't take much for him to jump over Bennett and be Rams #2 receiver.

5.07 Antoine Winfield, DB, MIN
At this point maybe just trying to make sure I have some sort of starter in the DB position. Getting up in years, but still racks up tackles year after year. Also playing for what might be the best defense this year.

6.07 Trent Cole, DL, PHI
Still on the plan of making sure I have a solid defense this year and get the most points I can out of my defense. He has a little more help this year and should stay fresh throughout the game.

7.07 Leonard Pope, TE, ARZ
Probably love my Georgia Dawgs to much, but this kid was amazing in college. He has sort of disappointed so far in NFL, but came on strong late last year. Hopefully pressure on Warner will help the passes come to him a few times, especially in the red.

8.07 Darrell Jackson, WR, DEN
New team. New QB. But up against a bunch of young talented WR's. Will see..

9.07 Kenny Phillips, DB, NYG
Eh, just needed a little backup on defense. Probably not going to get a lot of play in a veteran system, but possibly they will give him some time.

10.07 Nate Jackson, TE, DEN
Simple enough, not a lot of faith in my Pope. :) Needed a little backup, but now he looks like he has fallen on the depth charts.

11.07 Chris Long, DL, STL
He is Howies boy? He has to be good right? Rams need some sort of light!

Recap and any other thoughts
Nothing really surprises me a league this deep... I think some folks can get lucky with key injuries in a preseason game just right before your pick. IMO that is only big surprises.

Enjoyed the draft, went fast this year and hope I can kill my jinx and get back up to the Top 5 :)

1. What was your plan/strategy entering the draft? Were you able to execute as you had planned?

Going into the draft, I knew I had to play a little catch-up since Deion Branch’s knee turned into Nabisco Shredded Wheat. I wanted to secure two running backs with potential for points, Chris Henry (RB), a 3rd year WR (like Roddy White) with breakout potential, and fill out the remainder of my roster.

1.15 – Chris Perry, RB, CIN - Before the draft started, I thought I had a better than decent chance at landing Steve Slaton at pick 1.15. After seeing the RB run occur I started to hit the panic button and send offers to people to secure Mr. Slaton. Unfortunately, there were no takers. I was offering as high as a 2nd round pick to move up a couple slots. No takers and he was gone @ 11. My backup plan was:

A) Draft Joe Flacco (as an insurance hedge to Tarvaris and give me a QB for the next 5 years, at least)
B) Take a flyer on DeSean Jackson, as he is going to be the #2, possibly #1 in Philly with all the injuries.
C) Take Chris Perry. By the time my pick came up I was left with Perry & only Perry.

I read rumblings that Rudi Johnson was on his way out as they were trying to trade him. Buy the rumor, sell the news. Despite all that, I said to myself that even with a healthy Rudi, Chris Perry is going to generate at least 1,000-1,200 combined yards now that he is healthy. Throw in 4-6 TDs on the season would give me at least 136 points on the year. While he might not give me that “potential” big back pick, I’ll provide you with a golf analogy on why Perry was that guy:

“The best golf round you ever shot probably wasn’t comprised from the best shots you made that day. It was from the terrible shots you avoided."

Same with Perry – He might not give you that homerun threat like Slaton, but he will give you 8-10 points a week like a Julius Jones with the potential for more.

1.22 – Tim Hightower, RB, ARI - First and foremost, I’ll be the first to admit. I HOSED myself on the Ryan Grant trade. Here I trade a guy who doesn’t even fall past the 22nd pick in regular 12 team snake drafts for Tim freakin Hightower. Nevertheless, I think Grant is gonna end up like Rudi Johnson from waiver wire hero to first round pick to nothing (yes, I need to save face somehow!)

Shoot, if you approached me one week beforehand, I would’ve been like “WHO. THE. HECK. IS HIGHTOWER?!?!” But I started reading a couple blurbs about him and how he is creeping up in the draft boards I took notice. The Cards eventually cut Marcel Shipp and the positive press continued on Edgerrin’s primary backup. Whisenhunt is looking to get him 100-150 carries and envisions a Jerome Bettis type role for the kid and best of all, he’ll be a bye week replacement with serious keeper potential.

2.15 – Derek Hagan, WR, MIA - Since I didn’t have alot of pressing needs on my team, I reached a tad on Derek Hagan. Sine Parcells got there, Derek Hagan has been one of the most improved players on the roster. His knock was always his dropped passes and when the ‘Phins signed Pennington, it was a foregone conclusion I was going to target him with this pick.

From the 2008 Pro Football Prospectus:
Chad Pennington had eight passes dropped by his receivers, meaning 3.1 percent of his passes were dropped, the lowest percentage in the NFL.

Another Chad Fact: He has always had a 1,000 yard WR.

Since the Dolphins will be playing from behind and probably throwing the ball a lot, I think Hagan will reap the benefits as the possession WR in the Dolphins offense.

3.15 – Chris Henry, RB, TEN - Handcuff to LenDale White. Probably a little early for him, but I would rather be safe than sorry as I had other positions to fill later on in the draft that didn’t warrant a 3rd round pick. Henry will provide me insurance in the event LenDale goes down and I shouldn’t miss a beat. I expect to stash him on the bench all year.

3.23 – Adalius Thomas, LB, NE - Since I already kept A.J. Hawk & Will Witherspoon, I wanted to get my 3rd starter. The guy creates a matchup nightmare and is the baseball equivalent of a 5 tool player. He does it all. Tackle, Sack, Interception, Force Fumbles, etc. He might not give me the consistency of a Will Witherspoon, but he will have a couple big games this year that will alter an outcome of a game.

4.05 – Reggie Nelson, DB, JAX - Reggie Nelson was the #2 defensive back on my board behind Gibril Wilson. As a rookie he totaled 63 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 11 passes defended. Through preseason he already has 3 picks and should easily surpass his tackles # from last season and hopefully get in the recently departed Sammy Knight range. That would project him as the top defensive back when the 2008/09 season concludes. It also doesn’t hurt to have the Jacksonville defense as anything he does will result in double points for me.

4.15 – Josh Scobee, K, JAX - I was toying with finishing out my defense and week 1 starting lineup by taking Mario Williams again (who, coincidentally, went on the very next pick.) Last year, I got burned by waiting forever for a kicker only to get stuck with Rob Bironas, who was not a preseason darling. Fortunately, Bironas had a monster year and I didn’t want to get jammed with slim pickings on Kickers. Therefore I thought there was still plenty of value at the “DL” spot and opted to go with a kicker instead.

5.15 – Channing Crowder, LB, MIA - Crowder will be taking over the MLB spot for the recently departed Zach Thomas. Zach was a beast at that position and here’s to hoping that Crowder can get similar type stats. My worst case-scenario is that Crowder is a middle-of-the pack LB. So the pick has some good upside with little to no downside (barring injury).

6.15 – Julius Peppers, DL, CAR - Originally, I wanted to go with Mario Williams, but he didn’t fall this far and getting Peppers as a consolation prize isn’t too bad! I actually had Gaines Adams ready to be picked as I glanced over the list one last time. I was like, “wow, Julius is still there?!?!” Peppers is going into a contract year and will need to dominate to generate a Dwight Freeney type contract.

7.15 – Alex Smith, QB, SF - I’m not buying the J.T. O’Sullivan whole starter thing. I just can’t see how they can bench a guy who was the 1st round, 1st overall pick for some guy who has thrown a total of 26 NFL Regular Season Snaps completing only 50% of his passes with 1 TD to 2 INTs. It just doesn’t make sense. I mean he even got cut by the freakin’ Bears! That being said, I think Smith should be starting in SF by seasons end. If not, I lose my 2nd to last pick.

9.15 – Earl Bennett, WR, CHI - Total homer pick here. I’m willing to bet it had a couple people scratching their heads as they probably haven’t even heard of the guy! Bennett is the all-time SEC leader in receptions with 236…at VANDERBILT of all places. There is a slight chance that he could contribute this year as the Bears selection of weapons on offense is pretty putrid. If not, he’ll be the first to go.

2.What were your favorite picks? Which do you wish you could do over?

To tell you the truth, if I had to take a mulligan, it would’ve been in round 4 on the kicker. But I am not really complaining as I have Julius Peppers who could be just as good as Mario, if not better considering the contract year factor. But when a DL is your only draft blunder, its not that big of a deal!

3.10 – Barrett Ruud, LB, TB - how could you not like a guy who is gonna put up Kirk Morrison or better type #’s in the 3rd round.

4.06 – John Carlson, TE, SEA - From Peter King's MMQB: I think, if you're looking for a 14th-round tight end bargain in your fantasy draft this week, I'd pick up Seattle rookie John Carlson. He's 6-foot-5, athletic, and the first complete tight end Holmgren's had in Seattle. Look for Hasselbeck to go to him early and often.

The Last complete TE Holmgren had was a guy named Mark Chmura...and that was before the TE was really looked at as an offensive threat! With the banged up Seattle receiving corps, I could see Carlson having a breakout rookie year.

5.18 – Steve Smith, WR, NYG - I was wondering when he would go. I just didn’t have the capacity to take him on my squad at that time in the draft unless I passed on Crowder. Great pick!

6.10 – Courtney Taylor, WR, SEA - GO is looking like a Genius right now as he is Seattles #2 or #3 Option (Carlson). Branch tears a knee, Engram breaks his collarbone, Obomanu goes on IR and all of the sudden this guy is gonna be on the field for 30+ snaps a game!!

8.22 – Dwayne Jarrett, WR, CAR - At this point in the draft it’s a steal. He will likely takeover the #2 job from DJ Hackett when he re-injures himself somehow and Moose is just a placeholder. High upside with little to no downside at this point.

9.10 – Arnaz Battle, WR, SF - Another steal for GO as I expect battle to see a inflation in #’s with the Mike Martz system. I mean he made viable options out of all 4 Detroit WR’s last year and there is no reason to think he won’t do the same in SF.

3.Looking over all of the teams, which ones do you like the most (other than your own)?

There are plenty of teams I like, but I will mention two in which I think gained the most in the offseason/draft:

GO’s Jets. I think this finally might be his year. He has done plenty to bolster his offense and currently fields 4 quality backs, a up-and-coming WR in Holmes and the whole Cutler to Scheffler connection.

Twarpy’s Giants. Twarpy really has done a great job in rebuilding his franchise. He has a plethora of young players who could really be superstars and continued that with another strong draft. He has 2 feature RB’s in Lynch & D’Angelo Williams. The NYG handcuff to Brandon Jacobs, Robert Meachem, Sidney Rice, 2 QB’s of the Future in Flacco & Henne. If 50% of those guys pan out he’s gonna be a force in G24 for years to come.

4.What surprised you most about the draft?

As Promize stated in his post, nothing really surprises me. After last year’s run on kickers I learned my lesson and was happy to see another smoothly ran draft by Ref.

5. If you could start over, would you do anything differently?

Not a thing. I was able to stay true to my objective and fill key positions early on. Lets hope, for my sake, that translates to wins!
