The last thread was getting too long.

I'll rate my chances and teams.

Art Monk QB: Rothlisberger, Delhomme, nothing exciting after the big 3, but I think Roth has what it takes too score big. Delhomme, well when Smith is on the field he's a compentent QB, mainly looking for a few big weeks when I need them.

RB: Chester Taylor and Leon Washington, probably waited a little long on getting a RB, but I'm hoping for a few injuries to boast these boys stats. I may pay for this strategy!!

WR/TE: Where I'll score my points, otherwise its curtains early and Joes a happy man, Fitzgerald, Braylon Edwards, Roy Williams, Driver and Heap all will be productive most weeks. I tried something different here and I think in this league you need consistent scoring from all three positions and this in my opinion was probably my worst draft of all time, not happy with it...lets hope for a miracle.

Darrell Green: QB: Eli Manning and Campbell, steady, nothing spectaculiar, waitied to long to get a top tier guy, lets hope Eli can be the QB we saw late last year.

RB: Westbrook, Graham, Rudi Johnson, I think that's a very solid threesome if Rudi takes over in Detroit then it will score me enough points each week to cruise through every week. Graham is the key, need some TD's out of him.

WR/TE: Holt, V. Jackson, Royal and Dallas Clark. I know Holt is starting to fade a little, but he's all they got, he'll get his points. Hoping that Eddie Royal makes a statement while Marshall is away and he can be a surprize every week. Vincent Jackson has all the tools and showed that in the playoffs last year, I have high hopes that Gates stays hurt and things remain the same in SD. Dallas Clark IMO is Peytons favorite target and I'll get some big weeks out of him.

Overall I think that is a very Solid team, with only the QB's maybe not getting me enough each and every week...happy with it.

In this format, a great looking team can leave at any week and I've managed the bye weeks pretty well, so I'm hoping that in the AM I get enough out of those WR's and that A. Peterson gets a nagging injury. In the DG I'll hang most weeks, probably would have been a better draft taking Thomas Jones or Turner rather then Graham, but I liked the way Graham ran the ball last year. Just not real happy with the QB's.

Not the usual steady Edneck Draft, waiting 36 hours for the draft to move 2 spots probably sent me into a crazy rage and that reflected in my picks.

Yes, making excuses already..

Ok, I will follow the neck's lead and rate my teams.

DG division

QB's - Kitna and Quinn, I like Kitna and the Lions this year. Williams and Johnson should give him good numbers. Quinn I just don't really like, didn't like him in college and the NFL as well. Hope he can get me some points though!!

RB - Westbrook, solid. Bush should be solid, not spectacular, but solid. A. Green hopefully will make it most of the season. Grant should be pretty decent as Favre is gone and Rodgers will be under pressure a lot.

WR - Johnson is good. Without injuries will be a stud. Smith, after suspension will be good as usual. Burleson is the only option in Seattle and Hester will hopefully sprout into a decent player on a terrible team.

This just might be the average enough team to get the job done. Bye weeks aren't a concern too much, so it might just work out.

I will do the Monk league later this evening. I know you are eagerly anticipating it!!

I would have thought that when they bought the rights to show the game, they would get the stats as well. The NFL needs to find a new angle into FF money, the whole stats thing is just silly.

Now the more important topic, my Art Monk Division team analysis!!

QB = Edwards and Hasselbeck. Like Ed said, once top tier is gone, they are all pretty much the same. I like Matt better, but his WR's are all beat up.

RB - I think I did pretty good here. K. Smith, better choice without Rudi, T. Jones should be better with Favre behind center and finally Westbrook is as solid as ever. Could be realied upon more early in the season with Philly's WR concerns.

WR - Berrian could be a sleeper as everyone will be concentrating on AP. DJ Hackett could produce early on with S. Smith being suspended. Lee Evans is your go-to-guy in Buffalo. If he could take it up one notch this season, he could be in the top tier of WR's. R. Meachem is a sleeper rookie I have been reading about lately. He is in a pretty decent offense with the RB duo and having Brees throwing to him can't be bad. I need an injury to a starting WR to get him in the game though.

I like this team. My RB core should produce nicely for me provided Smith can hold onto the job. This is the team I really don't have many concerns with bye weeks, my previous post stated I didn't have bye week issues there, but week 4 and 8, I have three players off. Here I have three players off in week 4 as well, so I could be all done in week 4.

Mike I do like Meachem, he's got some talent, would have took him myself except for the bye week. Evans is so up and down, is he good in this format. It's got some positives in Smith, Jones and Westbrook. Not bad!!

Pay for stats, come on I can understand when my name is used in a article and a story is written , but because I use your stats from week to week, that's just plan greed. It's like Scotty should have all the rights to the "name Survivor" league Fantasy Football, since he started the whole idea back when Joe was still wetting his panties and sucking on his Momma's Tit. Ed, stay away from late night TBS!!!

Barring any late surges from ALL of you, I should be safe in both leagues this week. As of right now, I am first in Art with 98 points and third, three points out of first with 86 in DG. I only have a few players left in each division, but I have seen a few injuries already. Brady and Young to mention a few. Should make an interesting week.

Brady has never been drafted so high like he was across all FF leagues this year. You were not alone Gary. And now, unfortunately we will see him on the sidelines for the rest of the year. Bad luck Gary, but still a good pick. Injuries cannot be predicted. Even fragile Fred Taylor has played every game the past couple of years???

A few injuries this week, Young (Knee), Barber (Ribs), Brady (no ligaments left attached), Addai got his bell rang again. Maroney might as well be injured, man you can't trust Bellicheat when it comes to RB's.

Fast Willie, Forte, Turner owners should be happy..

Gary, whenever you lose your 1st rounder early like that it's going to hurt...your luck hasn't been very good..but like Scotty keeps reminding me, "You make your own luck" a load of doodly poop...Luck is Luck, bad or good, some are just luckier then others. I guess he means when I bought that winning lottery ticket I made my on luck by the purchasing of the ticket.

Don't worry If you leave early my teams won't be far behind!!

The deviation is the points that are deducted from the FleaFlicker total. You must start a QB, RB, WR/TE and K. You also have three flex (RB, WR, TE). That's seven maximum players each week. Since FleaFlicker only gives the total points for all ten players, I have to deduct points to come up with the final score. Does that make sense?

Ok, guys, I havent been on here in a week. And I have to say, it is pretty darn boring on here . I visited everyday, multiple times, but fought the urge to write anything, regardless of the remarks by Ednecks. Yes, ednecks, it was clever. Sorry to see you go Monkey man, but two WR’s not dressing and your number one pick being limited by the mighty Eagles D put you where you belong. Its all about Karma for picking Brady number one a couple years back and actually doing good. Speaking of Brady, bad luck guys, I cant really complain about losing my only QB when the likes of Brady and Young go down. What else, yes, so what about the newest WR stars of the NFL, Royal and DeSean Jackson? If I could have, I would have taken them both in both leagues and not split them like I did. I am kind of nervous about my Green team, and I blame this on BSB! But its ok, I am guaranteed to be around for another week, and that’s all that matters!
Ciao!
Oh yeah, I still think it is BS that you get points for PR/KR TD’s but not points for yards, doesn’t make sense…

I'm dying a slow death. LJ Smith has been a none factor, but Witten has 8 points at the half and my lead over STB is only 3 points. It's like falling off a cliff in slow motion, only, after a while you wish you'd hit the ground already. Can anyone name the movie that quote is from?

With Joe being safe, now a very good JHHH team is on the hook. Unless Crayton goes off in the 2nd half, Jon's team, which scored the 2nd most points in week 1 with LT and Turner, will be gone. What a difference a week makes.

Sorry about that Shak and JHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh, its always the good ones that go young! Yes, I survived, despite the showboating, or lack thereof by Jackson. Due to the fact that I pay attention, and I want my points, here is the play by play from the espn site:

2nd and 10 at JAX 31 (:14) (Shotgun) D.Garrard pass short left to M.Jones to JAX 41 for 10 yards. Lateral to M.Jones-Drew to JAX 44 for 3 yards. FUMBLES, RECOVERED by BUF-J.Greer at JAX 44.
PENALTY on JAX-M.Jones, Illegal Forward Pass, 5 yards, enforced at JAX 44.

Ok, I Know I haven't been watching football as long as my father figure ednecks, but the penalty offsets the fumble. I am really surprised this has yet to be changed in the official box scores...

Besides that, I am happy with how the eagles played, despite the loss, it shows that we can play with the big boys who havent won a playoff game since 1996. Stupid fumble. Gotta get some sleep.

Shak,

I don't mean to call you out, but I think you need to recheck my scores in DG. Did you get in all my .5's. Also, there were a few fumbles that weren't actually fumbles that somehow took away from my touchdown total. I don't know why NFL.com hasn't fixed it yet.

Surely someone here can verify this.

As far as fumbles goes, I guess they set a precedent week 1 or two when I stated the same thing. I guess we go by official stats, not what really happened. Not knocking anyone by saying that, so dont take it the wrong way. I guess if NFL.com changes it, then we can change it

I thought JHHH had a great team in the DG, but he got spanked....My AM team should be gone and it's only getting better each week...it's a crazy and very unpredictable format for sure. Tedneck and Cobb along with GR look pretty nice...need to get rid of those losers.....Sorry Bro's you got to go!!

Joe's little toe has a blue bow only for show, but it really blows you know!!

Ted got a little head and sleeps with a man name Fred and his unckle Jed..

Gary finally has lived up to all the hype, now on your Bike sonny

JHHH, some bad luck bud, but you can't win everything!! Sorry I can't mess with my future Millionaire, I might need a loan or some new shoes.

Shak the hack has a bad back!!

Scotty too Hotty a little bit snotty!

Buddy...I once had a dog name buddy and it got hit by a bus!!

Gilbert the Dilbert

Mike Skiba is a Diva, with the mind of a ameoba!

Sorry I got bored!!

Joe next off the rock and please somebody get Joesph a women or a Sheboy, he's not fussy!

This is the week!!

Kitna is out, Burleson is out, C. Johnson is questionable and Quinn still isn't starting.

I have no QB, A. Green is now the backup, go figure, and Hester still isn't a factor in offense.

My team boils down to:

R. Bush
R. Grant
A. Green
C. Johnson
S. Smith
D. Hester
J. Brown

Ok, I am whining and I made the picks, except Quinn, but I am actually surprised I made it this far!!

ESPN is always on the money:

Spin: Bradshaw might be No. 3 on the depth chart, but against a poor run defense in a game that the Giants should win big, he still might get enough carries to warrant consideration for a flex spot if you're short due to owning bye-week players.

yeah, A KC QB (thanks Jeff) doomed me. He is out, like I said, I have a cowboy wr now. He didnt even start btw. Actually, I only had four players start and three get points, one of my starters got hurt in the game and didnt play much anyway, he was one of the guys that got me points. 3 on byes, one spitting on women and not going to team meetings so suspended (LJ).
RW didnt play, Boss didnt play (as far as I know), cotchery, 1 catch no yards? Hey, you owe me .5 points;) This was my week to go huh? Well, GO PHILLIES!!!!

Joe, I'll miss you little buddy:-), now get the hell off the Island and go practice drafting for next year....The Neck brothers still alive in both..go Ted!! Got the pictures Bro.

Shak thanks for all the hard work, your a Gem as far as I'm concerned...good luck in the Land of Sand. Make sure Little Joe Cartwright makes it to the boat.

Phillies lose in 6....Go Rays!!

How low can the Cowboys go...Barber and Witten the only ones with Heart on that team, my sister can tackle better then that "D", they suck, plus JHHH can QB better then that old fart Johnson.

Toot! Toot! time to go Joe!!

Immunity gets very important around now, I'm in the running for one in the DG...fingers crossed.

It was nice to see Trash and Now maybe Cobb leave the rock..they had good teams..Asta las nachos

What, I am no threat now I have a QB on my team?!?! My 33 points last week didn't strike fear deep in your hearts?!!?

Yeah, me either!!

Well, the Mighty Quinn is finally going to start, but that will mean he will do good and the rest of my terrible team will do nothing and I will be out!!

I can only hope for some Brady-like injuries to some big name players (players not on my other teams of course) to stand a chance...

Yeah, me either!!

Just a heads up in the AM, Leon Washington had a Kick return for a TD, so add 6 points onto his total...I'll probably need every point I can get.

Good luck to the final eight teams in each league, Tedneck and Gridiron look to be the favorites, but you can never be certain in this format, look Grid went from Immunity to the bottom in 1 week, so getting Immunity is big at this point in the contest.

I guess if your not in contention, you havn't much to say or cheer about. Looks like Gridiron might lose one or both teams, I guess that just leaves the Neck Brother with both teams still able to win both leagues. I'm not surprised, and most of you see it most years and are getting quite used to the Neck taking your money:-)

I think I have immunity in the Monk and Tedneck probably with back to back Immunitys in the DG. Don't worry most of the kids we played with growing up got beat by the Leonhart brothers also, so don't beat yourself up about it!!
