Voting Process:
Voting so far for changes on Yardage:
A. Changing receiving yards from 1 point for every 20 Yds to 1 point for every 15 yards. (6 in favor)
B. Changing receiving yards from 1 point for every 20 Yds to 1 point for every 10 yards. (3 in favor)
C. Leaving it as is. (1 point for every 20 yards) (1 in favor)
With 2 managers not voting, it looks like change is the strong favorite. I would assume those that voted for B, would rather have A than C?
Therefore, unless there are some very strong objections, we will go with A to give our WR a little boost in value this year to get them up closer to RB and QB in this league, who have been far outscoring these guys. I think this will give the league a more realistic point structure for offensive players.

Dang, is it the middle of August already?!? My apologies on not getting this thing running sooner!
Alright, the rule passes. Receiving yards will increase to 1 point for every 15 yards.
KEEPER DEADLINE: NEXT TUESDAY, AUGUST 18th, 11:59 pm. Anyone who posts later than this date will lose their 5th round draft pick. (Can I even impose such a rule?)
Draft will start Thursday, August 20th at noon. I will set up Kafenatid tomorrow and send out the info.
Remember, you may keep 5 players, but no more than 2 at any one position.

Sweet....Yahoo has added a waiver claiming process for their free leagues. All players will be frozen as of the first game on Sunday, and you may put in claims up to 11:59 PM PT.
No more emailing them to me and me having to do all the work to figure out who goes where.
I love it.

Just an update on my internet access this weekend. My availability will be much more limited than I expected but I'll do everything I can to keep on top of things. I'm going to a friend's house in Cleveland and he has no computer (I was as shocked by this as you are!) I'll have access to an iphone and a blackberry plus my GF will keep me updated and make picks for me. I will be in a car for six hours on Friday and again on Sunday.
If anyone would be willing to send me a text when my pick comes around that would be great. Email me and I'll send you my number.
