I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to get somebody, and even if I'm not my squad is good enough to whip most, and the draft ain't over yet. Tom - Sorry, but that deal would leave me too thin at RB. Having just 3 RBs now is as thin as I want to get at RB. Plus, I'm happy with my recieving core. I think Boston will be huge this year and Scott is just a year removed from a good season. Thanks, but I have to reject that offer.

Tom - CBS is different for sure. The safest thing to do is pre-rank and then use the HTML version. It's slower, but more stable. I try and run both it and JAVA on 2 browsers (JAVA=Netscape). Java is easier to queue players, but will hang up.

j/k - I'd suggest checking the QB draft that just finished. A lot of picks were made via "Auto" in this draft and being a keeper, we kept 3 players from last year who won't show up in the draft.
There s/b a link to the draft in one of the threads (requires a sandbox ID). Sort for "peek link" and you'll get a thread with a draft link. You can view the completed drafts by round, team, player position .

Know what else would be fun? A little friendly gambling for the Guru. It would be strictly voluntary, just sign up in the thread that you want to pony up a 20 dollar donation to the guru. Then, at the end of the year, the leader out of all the teams that bet doesn't pay and all the others send in their checks with "Donated by ......", of course the winner, on the face? Biliruben and I have one of these going for the Dodgers/D-Backs end of season record, its a nice way to talk some smack and help a good site. No welchers though!

I got burned on auto draft too Todd. I didn't realize that when I put it on auto draft if I had my limit on a position from brfore the draft that it wouldn't pick that position even if he was #1 in my que. That happened to me twice before I relized it. Oh well. I'll have to remember that next year.

Steve--Just an FYI, Horn practiced on 8/31, medical staff found nothing wrong with his ribs, will be fine for the opener. If he is still on my team, he's a starter until I hear otherwise.
