- I didn't count Heidenreich's post match antics as a promo. I guess that could be debated but it seems like a carryover from the match itself.
- Well, we mulled it over a week or two ago. Now it's here. Angle will wrestle a different local schmo every week and get 30 free points. But I am not sure there is a way around it. Oh, and no, I am not listing the local schmo for points until the week where a real "hometown" wrestler appears.

Some thoughts on Snoredown:
Do you notice the difference between Raw and Smackdown? Besides the talent being better on Raw? The big problem with Snoredown is that there big names don't wrestle more than once a month. Undertaker doesn't wrestle at all. Guerrero is still nursing his head trauma I guess. Angle wresltes Tough Enough guys and local wrestlers. JBL cuts 10 minute boring promos. On the other hand Raw has its top guys wrestling at least 3 out of the 4 Raw's per month. What a huge difference that makes.
Snoredown has been ruined by these Tough Enough promos. Its a waste of 30 minutes a night.
Do they really need to have JBL and Eddie waste time driving a car to the ring?
The title match at Armageddon intrigues me. Will they do the right thing and take the title off the boring JBL? If so would it go to Eddie who works about as hard as anybody on the show? Or to Booker, who also works very hard but may not command the same excitement. Or might it go to the Undertaker? My vote would be for 'Taker (no bias on this) and let him carry it for a while, maybe as long as Wrestlemania. Let him put on a huge match against a Cena type guy at WM and drop the belt there and hopefully retire. Or give it to Booker or Eddie now and let 'Taker get it later. He is the one guy that fans just erupt for. He spans the gap from old to new champions. If he would put a younger talent over he could really help this company.

Taker? Drop the belt at Wrestlemania? Are you serious?

haha. Ok, fair point hen. But it would be the right thing to do. He could do so much for the younger talent if he would just put them over. But instead his massive ego refuses to do that. I also think thats one of the reasons they won't give him the title.
It kind of reminds of Andre the Giant putting over Hogan at WM. Had he not done that would Hogan have become the stud he did? Probably not to the same degree. But Andre wanted what was best for the company and his fellow wrestlers. 'Taker doesn't apparently.

At this point JBL has had a total of two major title defenses meaning he has been in a total of 3 title programs including the one in which he won it from Eddie. Sadly, now they feel they have no acceptable remaining main event talent to challenge him and so he will wrestle the last three wrestlers he has faced.
Why are they so against the idea of giving Big Show or RVD a shot to see how they come off in a main event program? They could elevate Jindrak. What a shame how they wasted Palumbo. Edge isn't doing anything great on Raw, they could bring him over. It feels to me like about half of the Raw roster has had their character built to a legit main event contender.
Who was Carly Colon before WWE? Was he really big in Mexico or something? I know Eddie had some big promotional match with him in Mexico right before WWE started airing his promos a few months ago. But I'm pretty sure he'd been in OVW for a while before that. Bugs me that he walks on the show and is granted instant Main Event status. Eugene at least had over 10 years in the business and was due - and he has also slipped nicely back into a fitting mid-carder role.
And I know Carlito got hurt soon after his debut, but honestly aside from one cool DDT that anyone else could do we haven't seen a anything special from him.

oh ok, Thanks MITH, I never made the connection.
Oh and by the way. I would love to see RVD and Jindrak get a title push. Maybe they can just take it from each other every week :)

RVD vs JBL in a PPV main event doesn't exactly appeal to me. Don't know how you guys would feel about that.
They just move too fast these days (witness Orton). A champ who fights 3 guys in 3 months and then doesn't have anyone to fight with - that's just weird.
And Big Slow vs JBL would be weird too. Aren't we supposed to cheer for the underdog?

I almost find myself cheering for Big Show lately... like his current character... and would SURELY be behind him if he were crushing JBL!

I wouldn't mind RVD vs. Eddie but I am very unlikely to buy a PPV at the current prices to see that main event.
I remember when Big Show had a personality. There was a point where he was a funny guy and making jokes. I enjoyed him doing that. Now he is just a token giant who squashes people on weekly TV and then gets beat at the PPV.

I just go to Hooters and drink the whole time anyway. You can't put a price on that.
