Ah shoot. In the Standings section the column heading "Week 17" should read "Week 18" and "Week 18" should read "Week 19". I'll have it fixed for next week with zeros filled in for Week 17.

Few observations:
Its sad that Puder has outscored Hurricane this season. And both have been outscored by Stacey (not as sad but still a pathetic commentary about the state of wrestling). They should put Hurricane in the cruiserweight division on Smackdown.
- kev, any reason you are still holding onto Ultimo? Or Bond with Josh Matthews? Or Species with Mordechai and Carmella? Why not pick up Christy, Shannon Moore, Akio, or Lawler (who has a PPV match this Sunday)?
- I must have traded Undertaker; he actually appeared on TV. I hate having Smackdown wrestlers. Not only don't they wrestle but it almost forces me to watch the show. I'd rather drink warm beer out of a straw than watch that show.

i am just wondering what GOs thoughts were about that UT trade? What advantage did you gain by doing that?

I was gonna lose him anyway, I made Victoria my leading scorer instead - letting my keepers cleanly be Hassan/Hardy/Dvon/Masters and now I have 4 of the top 12 picks in the entire draft (which I am working on condensing to move up once more).

Farn....Smackdown really does seem to be the forgotten stepchild of the WWE doesn't it? Not sure how to improve it except a serious trading of Raw and Smackdown superstars interspersed with great storylines, new rivalries and better execution of wrestling/acting skills.
Is the WWE too big for its britches? Would it be better to cut down drastically on its roster and then go back to having all superstars performing for both shows?
Would a major rivalry from a different, respectable and seriously-hated company inspire the current WWE workers to do their jobs better?
Or is WWE just going through the motions?
Would like to hear ya'll's ideas regarding this.

Smackdown is definitely fixable without having to get more Raw talent. They just need to build up their characters and then put them in matches in which they look good. Why is Angle wrestling a nobody every week? I could see doing this as a way to get a midcarder like Rodney Mack on TV every week and generate some cheap heat for him without putting him too over, but Kurt Angle???
Big Show is currently one of the top three talents as far as contender/champion status is concerned. Fine, roatating the contenders/champions to keep it fresh is what this business is about. But how come he has only wrestled about 3 matches on TV in the last 2 months?
Why do they think Carlito is that great that he needs to be on TV every week even tho he can't wrestle? They should have had Cena beat the living doodoo out of him so they could put him away until he heals up and have him return with a real reason to have a good feud with Cena.
I do like that they shelved the Dudleys for a while. They had gooten stale and turning them heal didn't work - went to that trick too many times with Bubba and D'Von. They can bring them back as world beaters or whatever if they want when they are ready. I just hope they don't split them up again.
I read that management has decided to elevate Rey past the cruiser division and to increase the number of potential opponents for him. Great move and long overdue. We saw the benefits of that last night with a simply awesome match between him and Eddie. Giving the cruiser title to Funaki was another good idea. There are a few cruiserweights that have never been champ so that division can stay fresh for a while and be interesting without having to lean on Rey. Funaki actually didn't look bad and London, Akio and Moore are all fun to watch.
Lets face it, Bradshaw sucks. He's a flabby Test. In fact he might not even be as good as a flabby Test. He can be kind of funny sometimes I guess but mostly when he's on TV I'm just shaking my head at the fact that he's still champ. I can see why he would have been a good draw while his book was selling well and he was on FOX News and then MSNBC, but nobody cares about his book anymore (I suspect his portfolio isn't doing as well lately since he never mentions it anymore), he's no longer on cable news and people don't care about him. He's back to being just another hoss, and not even an impressive looking one at that. If I ran things I'd have had him jobbing to put over Reigns or Jindrak or someone months ago.
I really don't think the problem stems from a lack of talent even though Raw has so much moer on its roster. I really think the biggest problems are in the writing/booking. The internet seems to collectively blame Steph and they're certainly more informed than me, so I tend to think there's likely at least some truth to it.

re: post 5 currently - I have picks 6(kev), 9(MITH), 11, 12(Goat).
The way things lined up we were trying to figure out how to just say swap last round picks for that little bit extra, but my current picks wouldn't allow it. So I proposed he take my lowest pick - which is no risk to him - cause at this moment its 12... but he knows I plan on combining those for (just hypothetical numbers here) someone takes my 6 and 12 for 3 and 33 so I can slide up just a bit more. Its kind of a delayed 3 way deal.
So its really a gamble on my part to make sure I can get one more deal done before the draft - (which with all these active players and my desire to do no actual work for Merrill Lynch - I think is possible, plus I have some solid picks to offer) - and he is expecting to move up from 39 to the 27-35 area.
We could have just done a seperate deal later on like - "MITH and GO swap 4th round picks" but we would have to go back and explain it was to finish off this deal etc...
So I guess thats the future considerations or player to be named later or conditional or some other term I can't think of type portion of the swap. (now THATS a sentence!)...
hope that made some sense. and anyone who may want to trade down a few spots in the interest of adding depth should email me - all 4 picks are available so make any combination offer you want.
