NXT coming with a show to USA we have to discuss. I dont particularly see a reason to score it because it is still essentially a minor league IMO. Although my guess is initially they put some known talent on there to get people to tune in. But that should all fade... regardless we should give the fall season to digest its impact.

I would say don’t score it for now. Let’s take a wait and see approach.

I want to score it - Season 42. it could give us 200-300 points more a week (about what smackdown does) The talent pool is familiar and it could allow teams more guys to start and forget.

Rule change suggestion season 41 - Increase title bonus points.
Increase title defense points to HALF of the points winning the title and losing in a title match to half of that.

EX. world titles would then be 50 for winning the title, 25 for defending it, 12 for losing it or losing in a match/no contest. etc.

24/7 title rule addition for season 41 - Score 24-7 title encounters as follows:

*Has to happen live on the show

Large crowd of wrestlers - 5 points for any title win. NO appearance/promo points. We can even call it the Eric Young rule if youd like.

"Drake Maverick/Elias/Carmella/Truth" style attack scenes:
5 points if involved
5 points for title win

Any time the 24/7 title rule is STOPPED for a real match:
Score match as typical
10 pt title win
5 pt title defense

I just wanted to thank all participants and those that put in the extra work to make this happen. 41 seasons is nothing to scoff at!

My votes
Wait and see NXT
No change defense points

Agree 24/7 scoring
5 appearance if involved (only primary people, not onlookers)
5 for winning the belt

"real match" regular scoring
10 pt win
5 pt defense

"...allow teams more guys to start and forget" haha

--Yes to scoring NXT assuming results can be up in a fair time period.

--No to scoring 24/7.

Re: "Increase title defense points to HALF of the points winning the title and losing in a title match to half of that."

I'd rather see *less* points overall for title and defense. Imo, teams and draft picks are being built around title reigns and ppv matches instead of work rate. This is probably an inconsequential debate though, since some title holders defend very little and some defend often.

From Pwinsider

The idea behind the Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt finish was that the referee officially stopped the match after Rollins smashed Wyatt with a sledgehammer as he lay under a pile of weapons.

While it was certainly plausible why someone would think the match ended with Rollins disqualified, we are told the official idea is that the bout was stopped.

The aftermath of the match, which saw the two battle inside the Cell bathed in red light, the non-finish and Bray Wyatt putting Seth Rollins in a Mandible Claw on the floor as fake blood poured from his mouth, led to loud chants of "AEW", "Refund" and "Bullsh**." from the fans in Sacramento.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In my opinions from watching the show the fans were really disappointed anytime it look like Seth was going to win the match and it really looks like the company blue this I not just putting the title on the fiend at that point.
I don't know who has who so i'm not arguing in anyone's favor but to me it had the feel of 'Bray can't continue' so the bell rings?
Apparently Fox had them ensure that their Main 4 pillars of the draft (their words not mine) were Seth, Brock, Becky, and Charlotte. Which obviously handcuffed their booking abilities. Still they could have booked so many other endings.
As for the points, if its an actual Seth def Bray it benefits RJ the most, but its only a 32 point difference, and the standings are fairly set at this point, the playoff teams all neck and neck and the non playoff teams all racing for 5th.
SPEAKING OF NON PLAYOFF TEAMS - if anyone wants to buy Johnny Smackdown, Karl Anderson, Erik the Viking, Alexa, or Buddy Murphy, for a potential keeper OR to help in whats looking like some exciting playoffs.. let me know.
Following up on RJ's Post in the transactions thread
"Hi I would have posted the discussion thread but seeing the schedule above is a benefit. Needed to clarify...
Now that SD is on Fridays, are we counting that Fridays show for the regular season finale? SD for that week will air 11/01.
Or...
If Crown Jewel is the official end of the regular season
and week 12 would include SD 11/01, Raw 11/04, and SD 11/08.
We could put it to vote but I think option A makes them most "
While it's cool to make a pay-per-view or a WWE Network event a finale I think it would only be fair to make the smackdown on November 1st the regular season finale, given that the schedule is made with the intention to include SmackDown.
So tonight's Week 10 is RAW tonight + Smackdown 11/1 on Friday.
Crown Jewel is now out of sequence but for our purpose we can still call it Week 11 and give it its own separate lineup. Complete with round ending waivers Thursday at 4 PM EST. Trade deadline also at this time as regular season ends.
Just now the regular season will end after Smackdown.
