Subject: Recalling an old sci-fi movie...help!

I am trying to recall the name of an old sci fi movie. I believe it to be made in the late 50's or 60's. I'm sure it was filmed in black and white and it was low budget and kind of strange.
All I can recall about it is ships being stranded in a strange land in a gridlock of sea weed. The only way people can move about is by wearing these balloon type rigs and actually walking on the boggs and weeds.
Evidently the ship got lost in this mysterious fog and landed in this land. Of course the stranded have to battle baddies and monsters.
It was really lame, but its making me nuts that I can't remember the title. "The Lost Island", "Fantastic Island"?????? I'm clueless. |

Althought the discription on IMDB is a little vague a little further research mentions the balloon contraptions you refer to in a movie called The Lost Continent (1968.

RebelFan42, yes that's it! I tired to find that thing on IMDB for half an hour and I could'nt find it for the life of me.
No wonder I could'nt remeber much about it. It was an English film with a cast I had never hear of.
