Yeah, I bought it yesterday. Just got back in town earlier tonight and am about to play it for for the first time - the demo was awesome. What position are you playing?

Went with SS and backup 1B. Got signed as a Bench SS in AA. Trying to get the starting job and work my way on the goals right now. Had my first HR and it was nice, didn't even know it, thought I had fouled.

I went ahead and started a franchise so I could get the hang of it, and I won my first game with a 2-run walkoff homerun with Adam Dunn in the 11th. Of course, the strange thing is they only credited me with one of the runs (Dunn's) although Griffey was on base when he hit it. But it was still awesome - I had to come back from 2-0 in the bottom of the 9th even to put it into extra innings (due largely to my inability to run the bases).
This is also the first ps3 game I've had that allows you to listen to your own tunes... noticed they were playing Tool as I was re-playing Dunn's HR.

PS3 is finally fixing that problem with the personalized soundtracks. Hopefully, individual games will add the feature more and more now. I know I would love if Motorstorm had it cause I hate that soundtrack except for the Nirvana tune.
I picked up the bowling game via PS download for 9.99.
Nice little game, you bowl with the controller ala Wii and you can add your own soundtrack there as well.
getting The Show this weekend when I get time to go trade some stuff in.

Just got a PS3, and wondering if everybody still loves this game, or if they've gotten bored or had any issues with it....

I've had no issues, and actually played it more thank GTA4 when it came out. I've still only played RTTS though, never got around to starting a Franchise.

four seasons done on rtts as a pitcher... took 2 years of minor leagues to get up to the bigs. first year went 16-2 with a cy young, second 15-6 still an all-star

I'm in 2013 now with my SS. I was tearing up HR in 2012 then got sent down to the minors when I was leading the MVP race when Maggilo came off the DL.
