Whenever I want to visit them on DVR:
Chuck
Heroes
Life
Fringe
Star Wars - Clone Wars
Numbers

Tried watching Pushing Daisies. Couldn't stand the approach they took with the show.
Checked out Eleventh Hour last night. Not all that into it.

I've liked the first couple Pushing Daises... been taping this seasons while I catch up. Any other opinions on it? Should I continue to catch up? others enjoy it?

Most people I talked to weren't into Eleventh Hour. Spells doom for that show seeing opinions from multiple sources.

I watched the first 4 episodes of Fringe last weekend. I thought each episode got progressively better. The female lead, Olivia, came off as pretty bland at first but she's gotten better. Also, introducing some mythology in that last episode made the show more appealing. It's kinda like an X-files minus aliens. It got picked up for all 21/22 episodes so I'll most likely stick with it.

Shows I'm recording:

Heroes - has been really bad, watching it for the unintentional comedy
Prison Break - still ridiculous, still entertaining
Terminator - will be canceled soon but has been pretty good
Fringe
Dirty Sexy Money - Peter Krause is awesome
South Park
Office
30 Rock - please come back soon
Life on Mars - recorded first episode but haven't watched it yet, interested because of Michael Imperioli

This season we've cutdown on our network watching.

-Chuck (NBC) Funny and well written.
-Heroes (NBC) I think this has become over-written. Too much time-travel/continuity issues in play. It feels like they want to be season 5 of Lost in their third season.
-Mythbusters (Discovery Channel) (season started in August)
-Survivor (CBS) Still has something going for it.
-Eleventh Hour (CBS) Gonna give it a chance. It seems like the X-Files, sans aliens/supernatural stuff. Some of the dialogue and acting was sort of wooden and trite, but I think it can develop given enough time. I bet the original UK (or BBC, whatever) show was probably better. I think Hood's backstory will be as interesting as any of the episodic stuff.
-The Office (NBC) I watch online thanks the greatness of DSL.
-It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX) (season started in August) I will keep pimping this evil. Last year I described it as "Cheers" meets "The Three Stooges." On acid (show reference). Now mix in some "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" dialogue with a dash of "Family Guy" pop culture references and you come close to what this show is.

Love Chuck, Fringe and yes, still love Survivor after all these years.

I tried to get into Eleventh Hour but it's not for me.

Now, The Mentalist is a fine, fine show and with it following the best show on tv...NCIS...is should be a keeper for a long time.

Everyone seems to love Chuck. That's good because I do too. I miss How I Met Your Mother for this. Which is a great show.

Casey is my favorite. I used to like Awesome, but he's just not so Awesome anymore.

New Amsterdam, Journeyman, Jericho, and Rules of Engagement. Oh wait, this isn't a list of shows I wish were still on.

Fringe is the only new show I'm watching.
Still loving Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, South Park, and Family Guy.

Still watching Heroes, The Unit, Smallville, and NCIS but interesting is waning in all of them and my DVR is almost full of stuff I haven't watched. I've been recording Life, but haven't had time to watch any and was watching a show called Burn Notice before all these other shows came back. Not sure if that one is just on break. I'm also a sucker for Scrubs repeats.

Burn Notice is on break until December I believe. Jeffery Donavan rocks. Can anyone name where this line came from by him? "I decide who lives or dies..."

I'm realy surprised by these lists...

1. I thought I was the only person still watching Big Bang Theory, something about it keeps me coming back.

and 2. Nobody watches Entourage anymore, I still love the show.

My favorite NEW show is Gary Unmarried. ALways liked Jay Mohr.

I also watch:
Chuck
How I Met Your Mother
2 and a Half Men
Worst Week(grows on you)
Survivor
CSI: LV only
Cold Case
Tivoing Weeds this season, working on catching up on the 1st 3 seasons thru Netflix. Watched the first Life on Mars this morning, could be pretty good.

The last episode of Big Bang Theory was very funny and one of the best. I like all the characters, but Sheldon is the one who makes the show so funny.

Finally caught up on all my shows, besides watching three or four episodes of Life. I'm still digging The Unit and NCIS, Fringe continues to get better, and Butters needs to quit shooting people where he's been shooting them...lol

As far as new series go, I usually do not watch the crime series, and forgot to DVR "Life on Mars", but caught it over the weekend on ABC.com. I thought it was a real solid first episode, definitely worth keeping up with to see where it goes. (I also liked "New Amsterdam" last year, sorry it did not make the cut. I am also sorry "The Bionic Woman" did not make the cut, but that was primarily because of Michelle Ryan

Another new series I started watching was "First Blood" on HBO. I am still on the fence, but I have not lost interest yet, although I am about 3 episodes behind now.

There is a new reality/competition type show called "Americas Toughest Jobs" that my family and I are watching.

In terms of returning series, this season the DVR is recording:

- Heroes
- How I Met Your Mother
- Chuck
- Survivor: Gabon
- My Name is Earl
- The Office

Also looking forward to "24" when that starts up next January, I understand there is a 2-hour "episode" around Thanksgiving that bridges season 6 and 7.

Other 2009 returning shows I'll be watching

- American Idol
- Curb Your Enthusiasm

I'm with everybody on Big Bang Theory... show really flies under the radar, but damn if thats a funny hour paired with How I Met Your Mother.

Our every episode list (other than wrestling of course)...

Big Bang Theory
HIMYM
Heroes
Fringe
Pushing Daisies
Ghosthunters
The Office
30 Rock

Since I don't understand the concept of Live TV anymore, here are the shows I have season passes for right now:

Chuck
HIMYM
Two and a Half Men
Old Christine
Worst Week (New Fav)
Gary Unmarried
Til Death
Knight Rider (Sarah chick keeps me watching)
Office
30 Rock
Rules of Engagement (mid season start again -love Puddy)
Always Sunny in Philly (great show I agree)
Burn Notice
Mythbusters
Deadliest Catch
Simpsons/Family Guy/King of the Hill

Its funny because I don't think of myself as watching TV that much. I just have one or two nights a week I catch up on most of it, and the rest of the week I'm out so have no concept of when things come on these days. I try to avoid the hour-long dramas if I can since they take longer to catch up and tend to just fill up my DVRs.

I'm a little annoyed that Chuck prevents me from watching the CBS shows. I need a dual DVR or I need to watch online (which I hate doing). But both of those shows are really good and I wish I could see more of them.

Knight Rider is actually quite watchable, which surprised me a bit. I wouldn't yet say it's "good" but it's definitely watchable.

Til Death has gotten better this season. They've had less of Woodcock (Shitbreak) and more of Kenny, and I think that's a good thing. Kenny is really funny, and I'm disappointed that someone who was great in American Pie was bringing this show down.

Jay Mohr is hilarious. I need to figure out why Tivo isn't taping it every week.

I also watch Greek, which is a great show, and probably the first college show that's managed to sneak one year of college into three seasons.

OD - imagine how I feel on Mondays between RAW, CBS comedies, Heroes, Monday Night Football and god forbid a baseball game.

I've got 2 things on the DVR and channel surfing on the other TV. Hectic. Thats the whole reason I haven't been able to even bother with Chuck.
