This season had gotten off to a good start. I was glad they got rid of the redemption duals and returning contestants and brought back reward challenges. I liked the shared camp concept as I figured it would hopefully create some new dynamics and maybe see some more post-merge alliance flipping. The season started with mostly likable contestants.
Colton is now obviously going to be the central story line unless someone can get a plan together to get rid of him. He initially seemed like a sympathetic figure but over the last set of episodes has turned into a real immature, ignorant, name calling, spoiled brat who should keep his mouth shut.
Then we came to tonight's episode where I thought I have seen it all and cannot believe what happened. Did the men really volunteer to go to tribal council when the won the immunity challenge just because Colton did not like the sound of Bill's voice? He has the numbers so why not deplete the opponent tribe, there will be time to knock off Bill later. I hope the men do not win another team challenge, even though the women have no clue about anything. Now I don't like any of them on either tribe. |

Really? lets hand immunity to the girls. Really awful move. Merge is not coming any time soon...plenty of time to vote off whoever you need in due time.

You think you know what pathetic is, then it sinks to a new low. Throwing a challenge has always worked out poorly, but throwing it after you have won the challenge is just plain stupid. I hope all the men are gone when it comes merge time. None of them deserve a shot at sole survivor for allowing Colton to lead them around like mindless/gutless morons.

Good season so far but both tribes are pathetic. Woman are lucky they came back and won one challenge. They have been blown out in every immunity challenge. If Colton was my child I would have flown out there and whupped his ass. At least Chelsea is nice to look at; she might be the best looking survivor ever :)

I am really hoping at the reunion show his parents are there and Jeff interviews them. Curious to see if they are embarrassed by the way he acted at all.

Probst missed a golden opportunity to comment that your appendix collects finger nails when you bite them.
The look on her face would have been priceless after they showed how munching on hers earlier.
Colton is by far the most disgusting player ever to be on survivor followed closely by Alicia.
You have the numbers to vote someone out you dont need to be an a-hole in the process.
The worst part about last night was the merge saving Alicia.
Would have like to see her azz get voted off after Colton punked by keeping the HI.
How does a person like that get to be a special needs teacher?

How can they find people who have never seen the show or know how it is played season after season. I know he was a model, but damn, Jay was stupid. Chick to the end!
Which is good, because as long as we have Chelsea to look at, the show will remain entertaining

Some people are just suckers and by there very nature want to believe people. That might be an ok quality in the real world but on Survivor you better think on your feet and never really believe anyone...play the game.

I like the auctions but I fail to understand what people are saving their money for?
If I am on the show and I see something I want, "$500"...Troyzan if you want the advantage in the immunity you just bid $500 and win it...why go cheap and risk losing it. You are trying to win a million dollars...if you made it this late in the show you are getting paid a bit of money anyway...why are you trying to save $20?
The bottom of the pecking order people are so brain dead...they are (almost) always just happy to survive another round when if they had a spine they can flip the game and all of a sudden be at the top. You have Troyzan spelling it out for them and still blind...disappointing. Awful season...hopefully Troyzan continues to survive because he is the only person making it interesting and actually trying to play the game.

Dont you have to give some props to Kim and company for playing a great game and manipulating the brain dead?
Troyzan is in his current position because he fell for the "Mike is trying to get you out" routine.
Thus far the Jonas, Mike, Jay, and Leif deserve to be out.
Tarzan is a total moron.
Christine has no game and would be out except for Colton's appendicitis.
Alicia is just going with the current majority.
Its pretty sad when someone shocked to find bacon in their BLT is the smart one.

True I do give Kim and company credit...I am just a gamer and hate the survivor game when people are too stupid to play it or just choose not to. This season has been awful because there are few people looking to actually play the game. The Troyzan vs Mike move was definitely solid and a big mistake by Troyzan not to verify the story.
This week was basically two groups of 4 and Troyzan. If you are in that bottom group of 4 you need to flip the game when you have the chance and not vote out one of your own. They only had one chance because I think the top group is pretty solid together...though probably at 5 whoever is left may split the 4.

Not a very memorable season, I did not really connect with any of the contestants to root for, but Kim did deserve the win. She seemed to be running the show the whole time and even when other players helped decide who to eliminate she took ownership of it which was what this jury seemed to reward in the end.
Next season is in the Phillipines and the promo said there will be three returning contestants who were medically eliminated the first time around. (Please not Colton) I guess that means it may start off with three tribes.

The only thing good about this season was that the jury voted the best player. Not a ton of "you voted me out...I hate you" people seemed to recognize it is a game. Kim deserved to win the mediocre season.

I'm glad Kim won too... she dominated all season and really stepped it up at the end with the competition wins. She played a great social game I thought. I loved how Kat said she backstabbed Alicia... uh, wouldn't she have backstabbed Chelsea if she voted the other way? I think Kim made the right moves throughout. Keeping Chelsea and Sabrina showed loyalty til the end... and those two really shouldn't have been able to beat her anyway so it didn't seem like a tough choice IMO. Flipping to Alicia and Christine would have stung more I think.
I thought Colton and his actions were deplorable. Was a bit disappointed with the light hearted nature of addressing it last night.
Christine the worst Survivor player ever? I don't remember her standing out in any physical or strategic way, and then she didn't make a single argument for final 3. Worse, she had the gall to say others didn't deserve to be there. And what was the point of her question to Chelsea. And though it doesn't speak to her game play, she didn't stand up for herself when Colton and Alicia were bullying her. I thought that was pretty sad.
Alicia the most delusional player ever? Her speech at the end was awkward... who would have voted for her?
Troyzan guilty of grandiose delusions too in my book... he made a logical argument to try and stay when he was facing near certain elimination, but i don't think anyone's confusing him with Boston Rob.
Anyone who didn't vote for Kim came off as bitter I think... here, just Troyzan and Leif I believe.
