Fhillip - "Federal Agent"
Frnachesquuuaaa - just to annoy Phillip
Malcolm - Not wild about returning players getting to play back to back.

Decent first episode. I forgot how much I disliked some of the returnees like Brandon and Special Agent Phillip. I am not really a fan of returning players and hope the fans win the first few immunity challenges to keep the disharmony up in the favs tribe. Looks like Phillip is going to be on for the long haul the way he got his alliance lined up, so hopefully a HII comes into play for someone who can get him out. A few likeable (bearded guy) and unlikable contestents (The 'cool kids table' guys) on the fan tribe, but it is too early to see their true colors.

Agreed about the back to back, gives that player an advantage as the rest of the players haven't seen any of their gameplay.

Would have rather seen Phillip go first rather than Francesca, but how embarrassing (and annoying) does it have to be to go first both times you play...

Nobody stands out in the fans tribe yet, hopefully that will change and we're not in for another boring season...

Ugg.
Playing Survivor twice and lasting a grand total of 6 days????? OUCH

The bad news is we will have to endure Phillip and his pink undies for at least a few more episodes.

The cool kids alliance must also be the I cant do math alliance.
Another alliance of 4 in a tribe of 10.......

Not a great first few episodes. Not really a fan of any of the returning players...and more than a few that I disliked the first time through.

Think it was likely a big mistake to vote out a loyal alliance member instead of flushing out the idol and getting rid of one of the guys on the outside of the alliance. Loyalty and numbers are more important than physical strength.

I really liked Laura...obviously not the strongest physical player but seemed to have a very strong mental game and someone I would want on my side to go deep in the game. Hope she gets a second chance to play the game in the future.

I don't know. Loyalty and alliances don't mean much if you keep losing members each week. I would work hard and quick to start building an alliance with the 2 physical players in an attempt to right the ship and hopefully get a numbers advantage at the merge.

I just do not think you can ever trust those two not to jump ship once you get to the merge. They are especially dangerous holding the idol. If the fans can win challenges from here out...then maybe I would concede it was a good move.

I think it was a tough decision either way...but for me I want to keep people around me who I can trust. As it is now probably the best they can do in the merge is to go in with an alliance of 4 which is generally not enough...they are now required to recruit new members into their alliance which is a tough go.

I would have probably made a deal to save Reynolds in exchange for the idol that could have been used to help the tribe after the merge.
Very glad to see Shamar gone.
Not sure what his game was.
Getting up in people's faces has never been a winning strategy.
Biggest "oh that explains everything" of the week goes to Shamar being an Occupy Wall Street protester.
Lay around the shelter for 19 hours a day, do nothing to help the tribe, yell nonsense over and over, and expect people to bring you rice.
Typical OWS mentality.

I with barilko6, whats the point of having a very strong alliance if by the time you get to the merge there is nothing left to your tribe ??

This past weeks show was insane. At what point to producers need to step in ? I was surprised that the tribe just didn't tell him to get the F out of camp when he dumped the rice.

It depends on if the two strong players are with you or jump ship and join an alliance with the other tribe.

Another week that I'm happy someone went home.
Brandon is just too much of a rollercoaster of emotions.
How do you tell Dawn and others that you love them after you dumped their rice?

Could the fans have received a worse outcome than being split 4-3 on both tribes?
To make matters worse they decide to turn on each other just to stay in the game a few more days.
A true fan would have tried to see if anyone was open to flipping.
They knew there was some disharmony with Brandon/Phillip and they should have probed to see if there were any other rifts within the favs tribe.
Best they can hope for now is to become a pawn for one of the favs.

Wow....two weeks in a row Corrine misses an opportunity to blindside Phillip.
Two weeks in a row Phillip suggests a split vote.
All she had to do was go along with the plan and she could have voted Phillip out.

Two weeks ago two votes for Michael and two for Julia.
All she had to do was tell Michael to vote Phillip and have Michael tell Julia to do the same.
There was a danger that Julia doesnt go along with the plan and Michael gets sent home but this week was way too easy.
Tell Phillip you dont like the plan but go along with it and ask if she is voting Eddie or Reynolds.
All she needed was 5 votes to take out Phillip if the favs split their vote 4-3.
Malcolm, Corrine, Eddie, Renolds, and Michael would have been enough.
Instead, she told a few too many people of the plan and her loose lips sunk her ship.
Missed a golden opportunity to send Phillip packing with a WTH just happened look on his face as his torch is being snuffed.

Next few weeks could get interesting with two HII's in play and not so solid alliances.

100% agree on missed opportunities. The split vote was the ideal situation for Corrine to pull off the blindside. Though the end result of her getting blindsided was pretty satisfying anyway...

Another real strong episode. I love this show when people are PLAYING the game. Loose lips sink ships. Malcom got totally played. I was thinking next week should be interesting until I saw the previews and a lunatic Dawn(ugh). She had been playing so well.

Malcolm getting a HII when he already has one?.....Crazy.
Should make for an opportunity for a blindside because everyone should assume he doesnt have one.
Whats amazing is how everyone detests Phillip but cant seem to get him voted out.
He says whatever he wants about his stupid Stealth alliance and nothing comes back at him.

I think people just see Phillip as harmless and feel like they can vote him out whenever they want. He is not a threat in challenges...has no shot if he makes the final jury...there is really no reason to vote him out at this point.

Only that he is annoying as hell.
From the super secret Stealth-R-US alliance that everyone knows about to "I meant to lose the challenge", there is only so much people can take when you are bored out of your mind and forced to be with him 24/7.

In my opinion it is good to have a person like Phillip in the game. No doubt he is annoying...but he sort of distracts everyone and keeps heat off of other people. When Phillip is gone...someone else becomes annoying and a target.

If you are playing the game to win...you do not worry about annoying...fact is it is a positive at this point because someone like Phillip is not a threat to win.

One of the best TC's in a while.
It looked like Malcolm's plan was to not play his idol.
He would have been safe because Erik switched his vote to fillup.
Glad to see Phillip gone as it will mean new alliances will need to be formed.
Lots of openings for the 3 amigos"
Sheri's only connection to Stealth was with Phillip.
Dawn is unstable.
Andrea's name comes up all the time feeding her paranoia.
Erik seems to be the permanent swing vote.

What a great episode. What a mind f'uck to decide if you play the hidden immunity idols or not. You would think Andrea being all paranoid would be a good target to flip. SO far this has been a pretty good season and last couple of episodes have been great.

Best TC since the first episode, imho. I love Cochran's constant amazement with the game.

I still do not get why everybody was so under Phillip's thumb. The fact that they wanted Andrea gone but could not get the info to Eric's side thru her was classic. And, not sure who said it, but they truly wanted to save Philip before anybody else. Is it because they all knew they could beat him in the finals and wanted to keep him around as long as possible?

Definitely an instant classic episode. Made for great TV revealing the idols at tribal council but may have been a better move to reveal while still at camp to give everyone the time to scramble/crumble. It would have been genius if the could have figured out a way to keep one or both idols...but once revealed it would have took major balls not to play them.

Eric is definitely a wild card. The three amigos are still in trouble...but a fair chance one of them makes it to the end as whoever survives will dominate challenges and becomes a swing vote towards the end.

I think the way they waited til tribal was perfect, it didn't give the rest of them time to scramble. Maybe they would have hatched a diferent plan than the 4-3 vote on them, but who knows.

I am so glad to see Phillip gone, what a delusional moron...

I agree.
Waiting until TC to show the HHI made it so Phillip couldnt call a huddle.
The plan almost worked to not play the idols until Phillip fell on his sword and told everyone to go with the original plan.

Exactly, had phillip not said that, I think one or possibly even both would not have played the idols.

But, now there are 2 more in play, and Malcolm seems quite adept at finding them...

The alliance of 6 is going to have to break relatively soon. Amazing that Eddie and Reynold have survived as long as they have after beginning the game at the bottom and never being aligned with a majority alliance. They are still in decent shape...by far the most physical players left and being a lone wolf is a good place to be when you become a swing vote and if you make it to the final council.

Cochran played his challenge advantage at the exact right time...right at the start, kept him fresh until the end. I think many would have waited until the end when they were already spent. I guess it may have worked whenever played...was a too big of an advantage imo.

Malcolm might have been better off simply digging whether he was watched or not...had nothing really to lose.

Andrea has really grown on me...she has played a good game and is smoking hot. Rooting for her or Cochran.

Was surprised they went with the split vote...always so risky...one person flips and your plan is destroyed. Good idea for alliances to send over a false flipper...have seen a lot more of that in the last few seasons...game is evolving. A lot of strategy this season which imo is what makes for a good season.

I liked the twist that they needed $20 remaining to get a letter from home. The "$500!" auction strategy now has a negative consequence.

Agreed that Malcolm should have just dug. So what if she knows he had it. He needed it badly. And to say at the end he probably wouldn't have played it, he felt safe? Dumb.

And yes, Andrea is hot! I like brenda myself, though her poutiness this week was a bit annoying. She was such a strong and strategic player in her first season...

Any predictions for the final?
Have to think Cochran is the favorite, hasnt been responsible for voting anyone off.
Dawn would have the least chance.
Most of the jury will blame her for their own demise and the backstab of Brenda will keep her from getting any votes.
Sherri has flown under the radar and will probably not be rewarded for her passive gameplay.
Eddie has a shot if he can get to the final 3 by winning immunity.
Erik could win if he is in the finals with Sherri and Dawn.
1. Cochran
2. Erik
3. Eddie
4. Sherri
5. Dawn

Well played by Cochran...deserving winner. I think one of the first final council sweeps in awhile.

I thought a very good season once the idiots were eliminated (Hantz, Phillip). A lot of blind sides and strong game play.

The jury made me like Andrea even more...I always appreciate someone who is gracious in defeat and realizes it is a game.

I think Cochran was the first ever unanimous winner. Well deserved.

Hard to believe Eddie made it that far having never been with the folks on the right side of a vote ever (not counting the triple-immunity play) and never seeming to be strategic. Goes to the 'there is always a bigger fish' strategy, not that he knew he was benefiting by it at the time.

I thought it was a really good season, kept my interest. Returnees really do not have a chance unless they can keep their numbers pre-merge. Experience is too key it seems.

I couldn't stand Phillip but was sorry to see him beaten by three immunities (two HII and one regular II) and would loved to see how it would have played out. Dawn drove me nuts with the crying and did as much maneuvering as Cochran but Cochran must have knew that Dawn would get more of the heat at final tribal to keep her around. First time I recall the jurors at final tribal was not too self serving or bitter which I liked.

Looks like next season is going to be 9 returnees yet again, but this time the other tribe will consist of a family members (sons, daughters, spouses, siblings). Certainly makes for different dynamics at merge, and maybe even pre-merge, but give me an old school all newbies season.

Final TC was somewhat boring.
Was pretty obvious Cochran was going to win.
Best moment was Sherri telling Erik to sit down.
I wouldnt listen to that chucklehead either.
Only reason he was there was because he made the all time survivor boneheaded move.
Worst moment was Brenda getting Dawn to remove her teeth.
Yes, the way Dawn played the game was not nice but it was in the context of the game, but what Brenda did was mean and spiteful on a personal level.
Not the actions of someone who is supposed to be humble...I hope her dad is disappointed.
Got to get rid of that stupid fallen heros.
The reunion show was worst ever.

I am not sure I agree weykool. I think Brenda was just saying that you said you would have stayed in the game had I not gotten your teeth back, Prove it to me. And for the record, I do not think Dawn would have stayed in the game. I liked the final tribal council. Nice to see people ask questions and not be bitter about the game.

If Brenda voted for Dawn after she removed her teeth then your point is valid.
She had no intention of voting for her and in fact didnt vote for her even after Dawn removed her teeth.
The only conclusion I can draw was it was a mean spirited revengeful move on Brenda's part.

I do not think Dawn's downfall was the fact she was a ring leader of the winning strategy/vote outs. I think her drama, crying, panic attacks, paranoia, ever changing personality, etc...just annoyed the hell out of everyone else and they were done with her by the end.

At final jury I think everyone realized Cochran was just as responsible for them getting voted out as Dawn was...but the key was the jury still genuinely liked Cochran. At final jury it is very key for people to still have some respect for you...or like you as a person. I think most are willing to look past your game play if they still like you. Granted...very tough balancing act but Cochran really did a great job this season of staying a bit on the down low and adding a lot of self deprecating humor to the game. It was really a well played season by him.

There have been other unanimous winners:
Players to win by unanimous decision: Earl Cole (Fiji), James "JT" Thomas (Tocantins), John Cochran (Caramoan)
