This is the tourney with the Modified Stableford scoring system and 2 cuts - low 70 + ties for Saturday and low 36 on Sunday. How is this scoring system going to effect the GURU game?

Round 2 of The INTERNATIONAL
144 players begin play with the top 70 (plus ties) advancing. Tee times begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. at the 1st and 10th tees.
SATURDAY, Aug. 12, 2006
Round 3 of The INTERNATIONAL
At least 70 players begin, carrying points from rounds 1 & 2. Top 36 (plus ties) advance to Sunday’s final round. Tee times scheduled to begin at approximately 7:45 a.m. at the 1st and 10th tees.
SUNDAY, Aug. 13, 2006
Final Round of The INTERNATIONAL
At least 36 players begin play, carrying points from rounds 1, 2 & 3. Player with the most points at the end of play is the winner of The INTERNATIONAL. If necessary, a playoff will determine the winner. Playoff holes are 18 and 9, with a repeat rotation as long as necessary. Tee times scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. from the 1st tee.

You know, I've been holding my tongue all season, but I finally have to say something.
sarge, bless his soul, used to warn the rest of us about who he was fielding each week before tee off, giving us a chance to amend our ways. This year, we just have to look at the leaderboard and wait for sarge to admit he picked the dog that's bringing our team's score down.
While there is some consolation in knowing you were a victim of the sarge factor rather than just making a bad pick, it would be nice to dodge that bullet before the tourney starts. Hint. Hint. :)

Cool. I beat the WB field by 5 with my HRV-jeffg team and took the WB high for the three tourneys betweeen the British and PGA. (BTW, my 'HRV' team was set up to try for highest roster value). I finally won a sleeve of golf balls!

The International 2007 and beyond is cancelled
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- The International, known for its unique scoring system on a Castle Pines golf course held in the mile-high air outside Denver, will no longer be on the PGA Tour schedule effective immediately, a tour official said Wednesday.
The cancellation leaves a hole in the PGA Tour schedule on July 5-8, but tour officials have been working on a contingency plan over the last month and are expected to announce a replacement by April.
