Okay - I need some help here. I have some info on player commitments for the next several tournaments, and have put it into an excel spreadsheet. Guru gave me some instructions on how to post the spreadsheet on the forum (from HERE) But my computer is not being cooperative. It said it could not find the HTML source on my computer, that I needed to put in the XP Professional disc to download it. I did that, but it still wouldn't work.So, since I am completely frustrated at this point, I'm looking for a partner - someone who knows how to post a spreadsheet here, and whose computer can do it. I'll email you the excel sheet for posting. You put it in the forum.Let me know.WBJ |

I am thinking each Sunday I'll post the new commitment list. I don't know typically when people update their GuruGolf lineups, but I tend to set it up on Sunday and I check to make sure no one withdrawals on Wednesday. I think Sunday will optimize everyone using it for this future plans.

Whatever day is decided on, I'll try to get it to you the night before. I'd prefer Tuesday night, but whatever is decided is fine.
But I think you should post the updated list for this week because there are quite a few changes in it related to the Palmer, and WGC as well, which may determine people's picks.

Wow. Judging from the input here - and, other than Kyle offering to post the spreadsheet, that would be zero - I'm going to assume this isn't high on everyone's priority list. Since this is time-consuming, and I have some time restraints, it's probably best that I spend my time on other areas. Thanks for your help Kyle.
Just for the record - I preferred Tuesday night because the WGC tournaments, the Majors, and other invites all make their fields final on Monday after the previous tournament is complete and current rankings are out.

I was one of those that viewed the thread and appreciated the time and effort that was put into its creation. I did not comment at the time because I did not have anything add to the thread. While I have not used the information this week, I am sure that it would be helpful at some point in the future. Please don't judge non-response to be the same as indifference.

I appreciate that you all appreciate. That's good. But my post wasn't directed at that as much as the need for input - primarily what day you think this should be posted on the site. I think Tuesday is better than Sunday, but maybe it doesn't matter. Just looking for thoughts on this.
And if there is any other input that you might have at any time - positive or negative - I would be open to hear it.

I would prefer Tuesday as I always set my roster on Wednesday in case of withdrawls. However, I do check late on Wed night.

I think most people finalize their rosters later in the week. I do mine on Weds night. And there are usually updates for the following week's tournament that take place early in the week.
How's this - I'll send you the chart to post on Sunday. And, then if their are any updates, I'll send another one on Tuesday for you to post. Let me know if this is okay.

Just found this thread out this morning (Accountant - Tax Time - Very busy). Great work. Much appreciated. As anyone hears of withdrawals/additions for future tourneys maybe we can post them here.
BTW, I think the Masters list is still not firm. The Invitee list at www.golfsurround.com/masters/2007/index.html says that the Top 50 World and Top 10 PGA $ Lists the week before will be invited. If so, there could still be changes. Mark Wilson is currently 9 on the $ list and 83 in the World. He is not otherwise qualified and could drop out. That would also mean that Charley Hoffman (13th in $) could play his way in if he has a good week at the WGC.
