I decided to activate “Mulligan Scoring” in the standings. For the full season championship scoring, each team is given one “Mulligan” week, effectively throwing out the lowest score of the season. However, major tournaments are not eligible for Mulligans. If you position the mouse cursor over the Season Total score for any team in the GuruGolf Standings, you should be able to see the week and the score that has been ignored (so far). Mulligan scoring is only applied when the “Start with” field shows “Entire Season”. If you want to see the full season standings without Mulligans, you can set the “Start Week” to be the AT&T Pebble Beach tournament.

I agree. I had Stricker and Choi to keep and only had 1670 to get two golfers. I ended up going with Couples and Mize. I figured at least Mize has been playing regularly and has fond memories and Freddie seems to do well at Augusta most of the time. I thought about Watson also as a cheap guy. I just couldn't feel comfortable with a couple of $800 guys and didn't want to use more trades. Not sure Choi's fade game is too suited to Augusta, so I guess we'll see. I love this week, wish I could stay home all four days and just zone in my recliner.

I figure I have to pass on Tiger and Phil because of $. Once those two are out, the range is from $1460 to $870 of players to have an above average chance to make the cut. Given a $4.4 mil roster, I tried to focus on $1.2 and below guys. I can find plenty of players from $1.2 to $870 that can challenge for a top 10 finish.
As for Jed, I can see how having Stricker and Choi can handcuff a guy. Pending your trades, I may consider trading one of them if I thought the guy I would buy would play next week too.

appears I wasnt alone in hoping Stadler would be a good "cheapie", only to be proven dead-wrong on that hope.

For my WB team, I still always try to pick players I hope all make the cut. The exception to that every year is the Masters where former champions are invited to participate in the field and I always try to pick one who will be lapped by the field (remember Billy Casper in 2005 who shot +32 in round 1 but withdrew for R2). Gary Player +11 for R1, has that job this week on my WB team. Now I just have to hope my others make the cut.

I may likely have all four miss the cut. So far today my team of Couples,Stricker,Choi,Mize has 1 birdie. This may be the worst I have ever done in any tournament since playing guru golf. LOL!!

I thought Calcavecchia was in good shape - and then he goes +8 over a span of 4 consecutive holes!

Choi playing the weekend, I'd probably be better off with nobody. I thought I heard 20-30 mph winds tomorrow and possible thunder showers.

I also have just 2 left on all three teams, Sarge, but the Masters is one toonamint we should avoid getting too badly burned. Only 9 of the top 100 (and 13 overall) have four players going on and just 34 have 3. There won't be a lot of teams going -14, -15, -16 so we shouldn't lose too much ground.
Having said all that, kudos to Gmoney's G BB 1. The best team score for round one was -12 (4 teams). There were just 3 teams at -13 for round 2. Gmoney scores an incredible -17! And all four players make the cut. Awesome!
