Jeff Wilson is a member at my club. He was the low amateur in the Open at Pebble in 2000 and is a heckuva player and a very nice guy. We are all very proud of him.

Is this the fewest number of times Tiger Woods has been picked? Eight doesn't sound like very many.

Tiger was on 15 teams for the Masters.
He was on 16 for last year's US Open.

With two rounds completed and 2 about half way through, my team of Leonard,Toms,Dean Wilson,Slocum has racked up one birdie. LOL!!
My club buddy, Jeff Wilson didn't do so well, 78.\ Louky's pick was much better, good call.

What's the over/under on Justin Leonard making a birdie this week? Any other guys make the cut with no scores under par on their card?

Leonard is the only golfer to make the cut without a birdie.
Dean Wilson is the only other golfer to complete 36 holes without a birdie.

Is Tiger Woods an alien? I'm not really sure he's from this planet.

This should be an interesting finish today with Tiger limping so bad already. If somebody can post an early +1, he might have a chance to sneak in, especially if the wind freshens.

I was rooting for Rocco to win it, but you have to give Tiger a lot of credit. He just amazes me with his ability to score even when hitting it all over the lot.

Truly one of the most amazing finishes in a major given the two bad shots from Tiger. The legend contiues to grow.
Prediction for tomorrow: It will be over by the turn.

I agree with Weykool. Mediate stated he left it all on the course, I'm not sure he has enough left mentally to compete with Tiger tomorrow.
The only scenario I see being competitive is Tiger's knew giving him troubles and Mediate getting a mental boost from it.
Did anyone see the Nike commercial with Tiger's dad talking about he will be mentally tougher than anyone he will ever face? Today will be a good example of that. Tiger wins going away.

Any other player but Woods I go with Mediate. Even Phil. His jovial nature works in his favour. But it's hard to go against Tiger.
The difference maker might be how they set the course up. If they leave Sunday's tee boxes and pin placements alone, Rocco has a legitimate shot and we could have a great stroke match. If they stretch some of the longer holes to full length, Tiger's length advantage should finish Rock off early. Officially, it's about 13 yards off the tee but everyone knows that ain't even close.
Another widcard is that issue with Tiger's knee. Although it seems knee injuries don't hinder aliens all that much ;).

But if I were Mediate I would say all of the things he said yesterday. "I'm toast" "I left it all on the course" "I have nothing left" ---- totally play the underdog card.....then show up this AM with a total "I have NOTHING to lose" attitude and freakin' go for it.
All of the pressure is on Tiger - none of it on Mediate. Nobody expects him to win....so why not?
The problem is, Tiger eats that pressure for breakfast.....and asks for seconds.
