Oh, my, watching the end of the final round today was like seeing Oscar Robertson posterizing everyone on the way to a triple double and the Finals MVP, then missing a layup that cost his team the win, sending it to overtime and getting rejected again and again. OH, so close.
If I were to say who Tom Watson most resembles, I would say The Buddha. I really was pulling for him today.

I likewise was really pulling for Watson. He hit such a good shot
into 18, just a wee bit strong. What a marvelous tournament for
him. Gives all us mid 50's guys some hope.
