I decided on Floyd instead of Woosnam for my WB team. Floyd WD'd while Woosey is +7 thru 12 (with two birdies no less).

On Monday I was at -291 for 79th. Suddenly I'm at -267 for 105th. Usually the Mully rule provides me a bump in the standings. This year . . . not so much! Anyone for a two tournament Mulligan?!?!

I think you'd get broad support for a ten-tournament mulligan.

Also, I think Natalie Wood might have been a better choice for me this week than Chris.

Hey, any chance I could get American Gothic painter Grant Wood on my roster?

Dave, I noticed that I scored a -11 in Round One and you show in the standings that I had a -10.

Perhaps there was an error in the scoring feed yesterday. If so, it will automatically update in the standings tonight.

The standings don't update with live scoring. They are based on the scores gathered as of the end of the latest complete round.

"URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL GURU GOLFERS:

Dammit, I don't know if I can spare the trade to move him.

Then again, Phil looks like he's earning me an extra one this week.

N Green with an eagle AND an ace; and he STILL shoots a +3 on the day. :(

In other news: since sarge said he likes R Barnes; Barnes shot -6 in 2 rds prior. Shoots +1 in 2 rds after. You do the math.

Did anyone else hear this?

Tiger had just 3-putted from short range on 14, essentially taking himself out of contention. Then he hit his second shot onto the green on 15, for a potential eagle.

I thought I then heard David Feherty say something like, "if he makes this eagle putt, he's going to remember that last hole and cry all the way to the flophouse."

I was slightly distracted at the time, so I may have misheard it - and I may have slightly misquoted it - but at the time, my immediate reaction was "Wow!" - especially when applied to Tiger.

It was clubhouse, not flophouse. Which makes it much more innocuous. Unfortunately.

I do like the "win one for the family" theme. I don't know if it was intended as a subtle dig at Tiger, but it's sure more fun to think it was.

And especially said during the masters. Gary McCord cant brodcast at the masters because he said the greens were like bikini wax, or something to that nature.

Several years ago, McCord said that the greens were SO fast, it was like chipping onto your driveway. THAT, ticked off the Masters officials and he has been banned from broadcasting there ever since.
