Hell, he's making the "shoot 80 on Sunday" thing moot at this rate.
If the cut were ONLY "within 10 shots of the leader", there'd be 14 players going to the weekend as of right now.

Is anyone else concerned about McIlroy?
One of the best things that could happen for him would be to win a major tournament to get the "cant take the pressure" tag removed.
The worst thing for him would be to lose another commanding lead especially in consecutive majors.
An 8 stroke lead with 36 to play is not all that safe in a US Open.
He seems like such a nice guy, I would hate to see him blow it again.

If Rory and Yang weren't playing, 119 of the other 154 golfers would have made the cut under the 10 shot rule.
