What a crok! Unfortunately, he can't get the full value if he waived his rights in order to get that check. If he sues without taking the check, he could be in court for years, and SW could have gone bankrupt in the meantime (didn't they just have a huge layoff). I guess I have had to do the same thing. I gotta be honest. I wouldn't wanna see the Sub-par Series, either. The best sport event money can buy. Go small market franchises! | |||||

I'd much rather have the money, myself. And I think that SW should pay the full amount they estimated the prize to be worth. What's the point of estimating value of a prize, then? Sounds like SW simply failed to obtain a pro-forma approval by MLB. pd | |||||
