Subject: 28-day Schedule with Matchups Posted by: KrazyKoalaBears - [139112313] Mon, Oct 23, 14:10 Gleem Tools I wanted to let everyone know that the 28-day hockey schedule, complete with a 28-day Offense/Defense matchup for each team is complete. You can find the link under "Fantasy Hockey" on the Gleem Tools page. As always, Enjoy! and let me know if you run across any problems. NOTE: Currently there is a bug with some of the Offense/Defense numbers because of an error on CBS Sportsline's pages. The bug has been submitted and, if prior experience holds true, should be fixed in a day or two. Also, the previous thread that this was listed under "Schedules, Schedules, and more Schedules" has been deleted because it was more of a beta testing thread than a finalized announcement. | ||||||

I'm finding consistent problems with the stats that I am receiving from CBS Sportsline so I will be changing to CNNSI for the stats for the 28-day schedule. I also use CNNSI for the Football Offensive Schedule so I know they are reliable. If you experience any abnormalities with the Hockey 28-day Schedule, please bear with me until this update is finished. Thanks. | |||||
| 8 | KrazyKoalaBears ID: 09242314 Tue, Oct 24, 09:03 | Ok, so currently CBS Sportsline is the only site that includes Games Played with their sortable stats (other than NHL.com which is ridiculous to try and use because of their coding) and CBS has somehow dropped MIN and CBJ from their sortable stats. The problem with the #1 team (LOS and PHI) has been fixed, but now I just need CBS to include the expansion teams in the mix again. | |||||

Good Job KKB, your schedule viewer is really helpfull, it's easy to read and when you find a team with a good shcedule you just have to click on it to see all the stats.... Verry good Job.... Tuques | |||||

CBS loves me again. :) So the Canadiens (Habs, whatever) have found a division again (CBS wasn't listing it and screwed up my schedule), the Wild and Blue Jackets have found their way back to the sortable stats (CBS probably wonders if I have a life considering I'm complaining about not seeing MIN and CBJ on the team sortables) and I've worked out the problem with showing LOS and PHI so all is well. Any errors you find with the 28-day schedule are not intentional or known (except the ones I know about). So enjoy and give feedback on likes/dislikes and any other info you think might be helpful. | |||||

Well, apparently CBS doesn't like to always include the Wild and Blue Jackets in all the reindeer games, so I had to rewrite a little code to actually count the number of teams listed so that my matchups schedule doesn't start showing some weird numbers (like 146 GP). The problem should be fixed now, however you may see a blank for the numbers for MIN and CBJ if they're not listed at CBS. Don't worry, it's their fault. ;) I also noticed that sometimes the pages will load incorrectly and produce an error (you won't see the actual error, you will just see a big dark blue field at the top of the schedule) on behalf of CBS. All you should have to do is refresh the page and all should be well. Let me know if you experience consistent difficulties with this though. As always, Enjoy! | |||||
