So I'm looking at my point production, or lack thereof, from the last couple of days by my "A" team and I notice that my "B" team is outpointing my "A" team like NAS over CGY on Tuesday night. So I figured since I had some trades banked, I might as well use them and go all out for the next week or so. Wondering what I did? Here's my new "radical" lineup:

Fedorov
Ferraro
York (from Messier)

Jagr
Guerin
Fleury
Bure (from Audette)

AMiller (from Jovo)
Delmore
FKaberle

Legace (1 trade banked if he's out longer)
Skudra (from Hnilicka)

So there you have it. No money in G. No money in D. All the money in W and a decent amount in C. The G's that I would want don't have a decent schedule, so I skimmed there and I never like to have too much money tied up in D anyhow. So now if Jagr and Bure can crank out a couple of HT's, I'll be a happy camper. ;)

Funny, my team's just about the opposite (big money in D/G, little money at C:

C Nieuwendyk/Nikolishin/Saprykin - ~8M
W Jagr/Fleury/Arnott/Willis - ~26M
D Lidstrom/Leetch/Kubina - ~15M
G Belfour/Lalime - ~14.5M

It's worked over the last few weeks... this makeup has pushed my team from >10K to the 4K range in ranking. I guess it helps that my D/G "studs" have been actually producing (got all of Belfour's Nov. shutouts, Kubina's big game). Carrying Todd Warriner's sorry a** for two weeks didn't help, of course.

I don't know how much longer I'll keep this... Forsberg will be a no-brainer pickup when he returns, so I'll have to free up cash somewhere. It's been interesting, though...

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, anyone looking for a cheapie winger (Willis replacement?) might want to keep an eye on Petr Schastlivy. He's seen some time on Yashin's line... I'll be at the Sens game tommorrow, and will be watching him closely.

Just goes to show that there's likely more than one way to skin a cat. I think your team, KKB, is a lot less "radical" than you think, but it probably looks radical to you based on your previous make-up.

I like your line-up, except for Legace, unless he plays of course. He seems just not to play. Tonight will be a very good inidicator. No way does he play tonight and tomorrow though (and then the wings have 3 off days, so hopefully he heals by then).

I like the move to Bure, but Jagr is iffy. He just has not produced at all over the past 3 weeks.

Nice defense trio. Cheap, and non-volatile price-wise. I love the move to Mike York from Messier. The rangers have a good schedule and if Mess is out, York will see more PP time. He was also moved to a better line two games ago in a shake-up.

I will share my teams lateron.
