Lemieux-Forsberg owners are smiling all the way to the bank and with TSNP's, 6-2 Colorado.Hejduk with another big day as well. Seems like the Av's are starting to get things together. In other games Was 1-0 over Phoenix and NJD-Florida tied 1-1.

Forsberg 175 tsnp after 2 periods. Not sure who started in net, but both Roy & Ambeschier have played about 1/2 the game.

Fla 2 - NJ 1

This must have been a really exciting game . . . . NOT!
Florida had a total of 13 shots, NONE in the last period. NJ managed only 4 shots on goal in the 3rd period, not what I'd call a big offensive push to win the game.
I guess Pat Burns has been successful in NJ at turning them into a more boring team than they were . . .a feat that I would have thought impossible.

LOL Burns should get coach of the year for that. Forsberg and Hejduk another point each. I wish Blake would get in on a couple of more goals though.

Yeah . . Blake & Morris got almost all the points for Colorado in a couple of games last week . . . now they seem to have turned the scoring duties back over to the forwards.

Final tally:
Forsberg 1G 5A +4: 200 tsnp
Hedjuk 2G 3A +3: 199 tsnp
Voukan: -50 tsnp
Roy played 12 minutes and got the win: 55 tsnp
- not sure why he came out after 12 minutes.

Phx 2-1 winners in OT. Burke with another win and 97 tsnp

Apparently Roy had the flu-->"HANGOVER"
Could work out better if they werent originally planning on playing him in the back to backs.

Never woulda guessed drunken trades of Mario and Kovalev would result in 399points less than 12 hours later:)

I would think hockey players are pretty fit people. I've wondered why they are out with the flu so often.

I didn't watch the game, but ESPN.com must be wrong about Roy coming out after 12 minutes, because it only lists Aebischer as being on for 24 minutes. Did Colorado have a sixth attacker for 24 minutes? Of course, with 7 goals, one might think so! :-)

ESPN.com also lists the Preds goalies as having less than a combined 36 minutes of ice time.

NHL.com has slightly more believable numbers: 20 min for Roy, 40 min for Aebischer, and 13:13 for Vokoun, 46:41 for Finley.

After 1 period it was 4-1, so yeah, it was indeed a blowout by that time.

I think espn only lists time in the attacking/neutral zone for the goalie ice times.
