Hello gurupies, I'm considering a weekend in Toronto for the Feb 15 game, what is the best way for me to get good seats?

A few years ago I travlled up there for business and got tickets day of the game by calling ticketmaster when I was in Toronto. A few things that I was told though.

1) They do release tickets for each game, day of game. Not sure of time and perhaps someone can correct me if I am wrong (I was told when I called Air Canada Center that I had "just missed" getting some.

2)there were a TON of scalpers..but not sure if you are in the USA and want to convert a ton of USA dollars to canadian. There were a lot. Granted the time I saw them it was vs the Sharks..but hey.

Hope it helps....not sure it did.

I live right near Toronto, and the only way I think you'll be able to get good seats is if you know somebody you has seasons tickets or if you pay a scalper a lot of money for them. I'm telling you it is damn near impossible to get seats for the leafs.

The best way that I've found to get "good seats" to see the Leafs is to scalp them. I got a pair of golds for half the price last month. Make sure you wait until 10-15 min before the game or even later. There are a tonne of scalpers, you wont have to find them, they'll find you.

Wow. I'm taking a date who is a huge leafs fan from Windsor. If we wait until the last minute and don't get in ... bad news. Thanks for the advice guys!

Getting tickets from scalpers won't make you look good either.

Have you checked out the Ticketmaster sites? For your Valentine's date, here is that game vs Senators. The site is "down for maintanence right now, so I haven't checked it. But I suppose there won't be any good seats left, or else you wouldn't have posted here...

Tried EBay?

Try here. Not too far down is the Leafs - Sens game on the 15th. As TLW said, their link is off-line right now, maybe give it a few days.

Ticketmaster phone #: 416-872-5000

Good luck. :)

Hmm, using the Air Canada Center link I was able to get to the Senators - Leafs ticket page. Here it is.

If you've been with this girl for a while and feel comfortable with her then get them off a scalper. Ticketmaster will rarely ever have good seats available, ebay auctions could go could very high and you never know the validity of the seller. I've been to a Leafs game and a Raptors game this season and scalped at both. I got Gold seats for the Leafs and Platinum seats for the Raptors both at half the price. Believe me you WILL get tickets if you scalp them. Its your choice but I personally won't pay the extra $200 on the already overpriced seats.

Used to live in T.O. Toughest ticket in town for a decent seat and you can pay an enormous price for a crappy seat. If possible use all your T.O. contacts.

If you are going to get scalper tickets and pay scalper prices do yourself a favor and get a seating chart and price of the seats at the ACC for games. Don't take the scalpers word for where you'll be sitting since they are only trying to unload tickets. You'll be in a better position to haggle. Also scalpers are like mice, they're everywhere. Ask one guy and run over to the next guy and haggle there. Watch out though cause a lot of these guys are buddies and work together.

If you are lucky you might run into a legit ticket holder who is trying to unload them at cost.

Ticketmaster is sold out. Thanks for all the info. Still sounds very promising, but iffy.
