3 games underway right now. Detroit-Philly 1-1, Col-Dal 0-0 and NYR-Pitts 1-0. Tarnstrom back today, no Lemieux. Is it worth picking up Tarnstrom again or wait for Lemieux to come back? I'm thinking of dropping Straka soon because without Mario all the Pens #'s go down.

The Rangers up 3-0 in the first, Straka a -20, Mironov another assist and Lundmark with another point. Remember the beginning on the season when he was on a lot of rosters including mine.

I will be one happy guy if Turco pulls a shut out. Everyone dumped him and he loss big money the past couple days. The game is still early and a shut out against Colorado is doubtful, but remember the game they had in the begining of the season, Turco was amazing. However, I definetly will drop Turco after this game, due to Dallas's schedule.

But it's the risk of holding him for this game that will make a difference in the standings, it can either help you or bite you in the ass in the end.

Depends on who you sold him for if you got out early. If Belfour, Johnson, Kolzig, Brodeur or whoever people picked up get comparable points to Turco then it was worth the trade. I'm just taking the stance that most people sold Turco before or since his last start and these goalies were the ones most moved too. So far all of these goalies have picked up wins and we'll see tonight how the points stacked up.If Turco picks up the shutout it would definitely help with the money loss.

As one who went Turco to Belfour a couple of days ago, I'm kind of hoping that Colorado puts quite a few pucks in the net. Glad the Turco shutout is off of the table with a goal by Hejduk. Now lets work on the Turco loss;-)

I went Turco - Johnson and Belfour before Turco's last start so I'm happy right now. On another I held and moved to Turek before today's game. Wanted to try and little differentiation and liked Calgary's sched and the way they've been playing.Dallas now up 3-1 on the Av's. Looks like Turco might get his win, although I'd love to see Hejduk get a few more gaols.

Turco picks up the win and 65 TSNP, not bad 112 in his last two. Hejduk with another 2 points night although he was a minus two.Anyone holding Stars got a nice going away present gift.

The Capitals up 6-0 over the Panther's and the guy who's trailing me in second has Jagr and Gonchar. Looks like my 500 point lead might go in one night.

244 TSNP for Jagr so far, 5 min left in the 2nd period.

143 TSNP for Gonchar.

Wait, check that. Another Washington goal, Jagr with an assist and another +... so he's at 279 TSNP. WOW!

11-2, Florida gets another. Gonchar with another assist, he's up to 178 TSNP.

The Habs announcers were laughing that Florida was back in it, since they scored and it was 9-1... wait'll they get the next update. :)

I don't know about TSN history, but the high for the season is Rob Blake with 134 on 12/21.

Gonchar's 192 TSNP ranks him 9th for all players for the entire season, not counting any other WAS players from tonight (10th, when Jagr is included).

Jagr's 263 TSNP ranks him 1st for all players for the entire season, 36 TSNP higher than Marian Hossa's huge, unpaid, performance on 01/02.

Jani Hurme's -84 TSNP ranks him absolute last for all players for the entire season, 12 TSNP worse than Miikka "I'm Not Actually a Goalie, But I Play One on TV" Kiprusoff's -72 TSNP performance on 10/10.

Ivan Majesky's -60 TSNP ties him with Dany Heatley (01/02, against the unpaid Senators) for absolute last for all non-goalies for the entire season.

Olaf Kolzig's 68 TSNP in a winning effort ranks him 9th on his own team tonight, which is just funny.

All I can say is WOW!

Oh, my ... it was raining underwear at the Islanders game!

... Jason Blake made fans at the Nassau Coliseum lose their shorts. On "Boxer Short Night," Blake scored three straight goals for his first career hat trick as the New York Islanders cruised to a 7-3 rout of the Atlanta Thrashers. Before the game, all fans received a pair of boxer shorts. They held on to them as the Islanders allowed the first goal for the third time in the last four games just 4:20 into the opening period. But when Blake finished off a give-and-go with Michael Peca midway through the second period, the shorts came flying out of the stands to celebrate the Islanders' third hat trick in the last four home games and Blake's career-high 14th goal.

(Apparently, quite a few New Yorkers can't tell the difference between clothing that's supposed to cover their head and ... well, figure the rest out for yourself.)

Dangit!

Wish Mario would play. Kovalev is nothing without him...

Thanks for Gonchar Rogue, looking good. If Naslund would do anything decent I'll be at 6 plus for the first time all year.

Kiprusoff celebrates not being last anymore with a shutout....maybe Heatley will pull off a hat trick next game since he gained some company at the bottom.

Anyone's guess would be as good as mine, but I'll go for the glory and say Bertuzzi or O'neill.
