Anyone going to Thibault today for Chicago's Sun. and Mon. games? The 'Hawks play Nashville and Detroit. Most teams are off the next two days. With the weekend's historic low trade volume, it should make for some dollars as well as points.

Is Thibaultl going to start both? That's the important question because if he is not then not much point in trading into him for one game and then getting out again, say for Lalime.

I am looking to keep him at least until Turco comes back - Chicago plays four games before the 18th, Dallas' return date. Of course, this includes a B2B with Detroit. Thibault starts 90% of Chicago's games, so the odds of him playing today and tomorrow are very good. I see this as an opportunity for some quick differentiation; as good a chance as any to make up some ground on the top managers. If anyone in Chicago knows anything specific about the 'Hawks goalie plan for this week, we'd love to hear it.

No doubt there will be a lot of goalie movement today. Lots of folks will finally sell Turco and that money has to go somewhere. However with Turco at $4,220K and Thibault at $7,590K lots of managers won't be able to make up the difference with idle cash.

I suspect that you will see lots of goalies dominating the money gainers list (Denis, Vokoun, Thibault, Johnson, Belfour, and Kolzig to name a few). With Turco's losses split up among all sorts of goalies, I don't see real big money made by any individual goalie.

Yes, Thibault may put some great points in the back-to-back games but don't go there solely for the money. Lots of manager's will go elsewhere for their goalie since they try to avoid goalie schedules that have back-to-back games.

I believe Chicago started their back-up against Phoenix earlier this week. So the chances of him playing both games looks promising.

Don't forget however that Leighton played amazing, in that 0-0 tie! He may very well get the nod today against Nashville, saving Thibault for the RedWings.

134 TSNP for Thibault. Was also the highest on today's gainers list. All in all, it was a good day to be a Thibault owner.
