after tonight's game, will move Holik - lots of teams play 2 games during the three days the Rangers have off. I'm thinking of guys like Marcel Hossa, Havlat, Jason Blake, and Ryan Smyth. Then I think back to Holik because the Rangers schedule is pretty sweet until the all star break.

I am picking up Turco X3 on the 18th. The issue is which goalie(s) is (are) going to be sold? Looks like Lalime owners will not sell based on his hot streak, so my guess is Denis, Thibault, Weekes (if anyone still has him), Giguere, and Roloson will all see some price hits. I'll be selling Thibault twice and Denis once. Anyone else care to announce their plans?

Checkmanek > Turco...holding Roloson

Koivu or Zhamnov > Mario whenever he feels like he wants to play again.

Didn't wait until the 18th, did Denis->Turco. No reason to wait for this move. Everyone who is going to sell Turco already has so he has no where to go but up.

I get one more game out of Kolzig before Turco plays next. That's the only trade I have planned at this time.

It's hard to go Brodeur->Turco for me. The Devils have a much better home record (15-6-1-1)than the Stars' road record (10-9-7-0). Schwab is sufferring from the flu, so Brodeur would probably start the second game of the back-to-back games.

I dunno. We'll see.

TLW... For the most part, I agree.... However, Turco will go up a minumum of 220 today and possibly as much as 300... I'm going to take the money on this one.....

TLW - it could be a good differentiation move. Give up money for the prospect of points most other managers won't get. It will pay off in the stat that counts if Brodeur puts up big points in comparison to Turco. I don't expect Brodeur to lose much money but Turco should have significant gains.

I'm actually with TLW on this one. I may hold off on Turco.

I think that 1 Brodeur game at home vs Carolina may even outpoint 2 Turco games @SJ & @Col.

And i don't exactly need the downgrade money right now, with both Blake and Hossa at center...hmmmm, that 300K would be nice, but I think I'm gonna hold on to Brodeur.

With the Jagr groin injury, I"ll be going Jagr -> Hossa.. the question is when.. With Jagr being such a big gainer yesterday and neither playing until tomorrow, Jagr could actually go up again today. My logic here is that the injury has not been widely publicized, so there could still be buyers out there...

Any Thoughts

I' waiting too, there's no forwards today that I would trade into, plus like u said he may still gain money and by tommorrow there maybe some more info on his situation. I did make two trades today though, got rid of Smyth and Straka for Holik and Recchi. Looking to pick up Hejduk soon too and that maybe an option from Jagr as I already have Hossa on my teams.

Yea, I will wait and see, if it turns out he WILL miss monday's game then I'll go Jagr >Alfredsson/Hossa/Guerin

I'm actually starting to have second thoughts, I was using KKB's site which has two days ago price change data that indicates a +140.. His actual gain yesterday was 10.... Jagr will probably lose some money today, but with the mention of Guerin and Hejduk as other possible replacements (I have 3 OTT players already), I still may wait to see.

Made 3 trades today.

2 trades were planned:
Straka->Lindros
Kovalev->Bertuzzi x1, Alfredsson x1

Unplanned trade:
Zhamnov->Yashin
plan on going Yashin->Allison Wednesday.

Am holding Walker even though he's day to day. Don't like to use trdes on sub $1M players, but may go to Schastlivy if Walker out more than a couple more games.

Simbot, Jagr's groin injuries have limited his play in the past even after he comes back. Plus lately, I get the sense he's become a bottom feeder, ie.. kicks ass against weak teams like florida and islanders but disappears against the good teams.

But hey, if you want to hold, go ahead.
