Tonight, Lapointe will play on the left side, with Thornton and Glen Murray. Lapointe said the team was so excited to get Thornton back, they were calling him Moses.

"We're just going to have to work for our goals and just bear down. That's the big difference right now. I'm excited to finally play. It seems like I haven't been out there in forever."

Aaaaaah, the two premier center studs in action tonight, Lemieux and Thornton. The money die-lemminga will start soon enough. Well, for me, it starts tonight as I do not have the funds to move directly from Koivu to either Thornton or Lemieux.

Of course, tomorrow, when I move Belfour and Brodeur on my 2 teams to Turco, vwhallah, ze money has been found! So, tonight is Joe's "tryout," albeit against the weakest defensive team in the NHL. I can only cross my fingers and hope he does not light it up. If he plays through, I will move Koivu to him tomorrow.

When Colorado starts playing games again, boy it's gonna be tricky -- Sakic, Forsberg, Lemieux and Thornton (let alone a dormant Sundin) are all viable, expensive centers that will require some roster re-alignment (e.g. Marcus Naslund absorbs a lot of my current roster value).

Also, back to Joe -- Boston has been largely playing quite poorly the last month, so that gives me some solace about waiting on him. But then again, Joe was still scoring consistently whilest Boston was losing consistently. He is most attractively priced, too. I'll just have to wait another day...

It's Zhamnov and Koivu > Mario and Thornton for me.

Although not sure if I'm getting Mario just yet, as it's still up in the air from what I know. Anyone with some extra Mario news would be of great help.

Will be going with a big 5 into the ASB. Mario, Thornton, Naslund, Kovalev, Jagr...now if everyone would just play to their averages. ;)

No Khabibulin tonight (Grahame gets his first start for Tampa Bay). No Brad Richards tonight, either, according to the 'Ning pregame radio show.
