Marcel Hossa is off the Habs first line, after going scoreless in his last 5 games. Not really a bargain anymore... |

Hossa . . . I'm starting to cringe at the mention of that name.
MARCEL: I grabbed Marcel after he got 5 goals in his first 4 games. He's got me 28 TSNPs in the 4 games I've had him. Reminds me of Zetterberg earlier this year. Hes playing on the top line, plenty of power play time, but not producing for me. But I guess you can't expect too much for $680k . . so I'm hanging on to him for now.
MARION: I've had my finger poised to take Marion Hossa a couple of times this year . . but have opted for Alfredsson instead. Then I sit and watch as Marion piles up the points.
I'm glad there aren't any more Hossa's out there to screw me up!

Jagr back with a PP goal... i'm thinking of picking him back up for his 4 games before the break and good schedule after.

Dude Rogue, you had me nervous for a while with that misleading title, especially after hearing from the TV a few minutes ago that Marian Hossa's sat out a team practice to nurse minor injuries. Who cares about Marcel Hossa? Everybody knows he's gonna be bumped sooner or later, and that his hot streak wouldn't have lasted forever. He's not really out, as in "out of lineup", anyways. Marian's the one who matters.
Please please please don't use misleading titles. Sooner or later somebody's gonna get a heartattack from one of these Clonaid-like attention-catchers.
By the way, Marian Hossa scored his game's first goal. Although he's playing on the wrong line (with Van Allen and Arvedson), that did make me feel a lot better.

TLW, the mis-leading title was on purpose. Creates suspense. :)

bookie - I hate to break it to you but Ottawa is beating Florida 2-1 late in the third period on Hossa's 2nd goal. Don't be fooled by the ESPN scoreboard which shows that Ottoawa won 1-0.

No assist for Rachunek, but at least he got the plus one for being on the ice.

Jagr with 89 TSNP. Wish I knew ahead of time which Jagr was going to show up. There seems to be no in between with Jaramir. He either gets multiple points or zip. 11 games so far in 2003 and every game except one is either under 20 TSNPs or over 88.
Edmonton shutting out the Wings 2-0 near the end of the first . . . but then again, I got my info from ESPN . . .so it may really be 5-3!
