Subject: Was Igy worth holding for his near 200tsnp's?

Well in the free game i took a 120k hit on Igy tonight but he got me almost 200tsnp's. So my question to all of you (free game or not) was it worth the hit. I'm a first year player and may be wrong here but I think that it is. with that point productiona nd being only 388, i think less now, he should go up in money as well so the hit will come back to me and i get the points. Am I off track here or no? |

Of course it was! and Yes, you can expect to see him make all that money back + more. Whether or not he will be consistent about his point scoring remains to be seen however.

Man, I've learned to be a little less trigger happy when it comes to roster value. Points always out rank dollar gains. I didn't care so much that iggy was taking a $ hit - he's a former 50 goal scorer under $4 mil in the basic game. I'll hold him, weather the dollar losses, and hope that he starts scoring more often. 3g 1a last night was a good payoff, eh?

Defintely a good payoff. It's frustrating though cause his $ value is similar to Elias whose schedule has been sweet and has been producing so people having been dumping Igy for Eli. Maybe the $ won't come back too quick. One thing that I learned in season 1 is that $ is huge. I started way down and then made my way up. Once I got to 4th, I was dead. I was maybe 500 points back because of good picks (definitely got some of that info on these sites so thanks a bunch) but my RV was 4 or 5 mil under the 3rd place person. I simply couldn't compete with his RV. So that's why I ask all you GURU's out there!!

Didn't Iggy have a Game Tying Goal AND a Game winner last night? I see in basic season 2 he only has credit for the game winner. Am I wrong?

Game Tying Goal's are only awarded in a game in which the outcome is a tie, so you can't have a GTG as well as a GWG.
