I agree with J. Nurminen is sporting a 2.84 GAA and .901 Sv% with 2 SO for ATL in just 31 GP. Considering that he's playing for the second worst team in the NHL, those are some amazing stats. Dafoe's GAA was a whopping 4.36 and he sported a .862 Sv% in 17 GP. His 5-11-1 record certainly didn't help ATL either. This should keep Hartley from having to start Dafoe just because the front office doesn't want his contract sitting on the bench. This is actually good news for ATL fans. Now if Nurminen would just hurry up and get healed. ;)

I think the best case scenario for ATL would be, Dafoe would've come back strong and they could've traded him for some top notch prospects.
Oh well, so much for that idea. Good riddance!
