I did one of them double takes when I saw that boston somehow had 5 games in 7 days. The question is.. with boston being pretty cold, is joey and glen worth a look?
I remember phoenix had one of these ones, but it was because some game got cancelled and had to be moved. But I also remember tkachuk choked pretty bad during this stretch.
Would they do well or would they just be running on fumes?

I've thought about this myself on occasion. At what point is a schedule so busy that players get worn down? Is 3 games in 7 days, all spread out to allow for easy travel and plenty of rest, better than 4 in 7, including a B2B, and two-three days of hectic travel?
I've often heard players say "We were pretty tired from last night (at wherever) and we didn't really get anything going."
So I'm not sure. Five in seven looks pretty sweet on paper. Digging a bit deeper, I see they have two B2B's where they go from home to the road.

I just traded Murray yesterday for Hull, paid off last night, I had Murray for a while and the only thing he got me was a 2 goal night, I was really patient with him but I had to bail out... I have Thornthon and will keep him for the run...

The Avs played 7 in 11 through last night. They looked pretty flat, and had to take it into overtime to beat the 'Hawks. Like Rogue said, it looks pretty good on paper, but that's a lot of games.
Although, some hard work might be good for the Bruins.... They sure need SOMETHING! If they don't pick it up, the Rangers might make the playoffs!!
Later all, Mark

never! I'd rather the bruins or the habs make the playoffs before those slackers in NY make it. But it looks like they're doing it with sheer scoring right now :/
